the practice I'm doing is one of his videos. I'm not sure if it's in a book but the meditations is his 'Basic Sitting Meditation' video. It contains a week of massage to harvest energy from the kidneys and sexual organs, a week or two of connecting to the cosmic smile and clearing the heart, a week or two of connecting to the earth energy, two weeks of activating your higher self, 3-4 weeks opening the front channel, 3-4 weeks opening the back channel(along with connecting to polaris and the big dipper), and then fully activating the Microcosmic Orbit. I am on week two of connecting to earth, and this is when I'm noticing the most mental and physical affects. I can actually feel the bull's eye center of my lower tan tien, which is good for my unhealthy body and how I couldn't do that the few weeks ago I started this meditation.

sometimes i'll be circulating in my microcosmic orbit, and I'll notice that i've been circulating energy slightly outside of my chest. I also when I bring energy down to the sexual center, it's hard for me to contain it deep within the center, it's usually on the skin and an inch out. For now i'll just keep trying to go deep, sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's not, yesterday was one of easiest times i've had with it, but today, it was very difficult. any suggestion?

Is there visualization, or just very specific movement that moves chi throughout the body like yoga? I will definitley find a teacher. I just learned the two first steps, and it feels good and tingly in my hands, arms and legs.

i'm only into weak three of Mantak Chia's 100-day Microcosmic Orbit for inner alchemy. If it means anything, in just 3 weeks I've noticed a big difference in the amount of flow through the MO, and also my lower dantien is so much clearer considering I can get to the center of it with ease and not have the energy get pushed off to the side or front.

I will certainly do that for now. My girlfriend's brother in law just had surgery to help with his cancer, so if you would like to point me towards another way of distance healing too i'd be appreciative. what model or meditation do you do?

Are there any good books or resources on the very many meridians/chakras/points and what they and blockages in them effect, associations to chakras, etc...?

yes, Level 2 SFQ. I found a blockage in my dog the other day and did the most basic of the basics and she ended up puking not too long afterwards. Her vomit had some weird stuff in it that's for sure.

I just found out about: http://www.livemocha.com/ They got Hindi, Chinese, Russian, and a bunch other languages. You can learn most languages, but they also have free tutors and thousands of native speakers of each language that are more than willing to help you. I've been there for a two days and I already am acquainted with a girl natively from China majoring in English who said she will individually teach me her native language. You can record yourself and people will help you with your accent and correct pronunciation and understanding. I'm stoked, after a few years i'll be able to read all of the Gong Fu and Qigong work that is only in mandarin chinese. Just thought somebody might find this to be a good resource. -

So t'ai-chi forms are essentially good for health, meditation, self-defense, and teaches you balance through the forms being 'metaphors' of wisdom? If this is the case, that would certainly dig deep into the subconscious.

I know Chunyi Lin says you can practice Levels 1 and 2 of SFQ together back to back. But i was wondering if I could practice Mantak Chia's Microcosmic Orbit back to back with Fusion of the Elements or Iron Shirt 1, even if i'm not to the final stages of the MO. In addition I do awareness meditation and hatha/kundalini yoga sets. What would you all suggest?
