It took me some time top find the third j in mjjjbecker. The topic of child abuse if one of the most horrible and tragic ones. If someone knows something with 100% certainty they have to act. Unfortunately many people look the other way. On the other hand there needs to be proof, otherwise it can turn into something similar like the sexual harassment cases where men working for large companies don't dare to enter a lift with only one woman in there or sharing a taxi for fear of getting sued. The latest book by Irvine Welsh (Trainspotting) is about the story of organized child abuse. Quite a good read. Re- autodidact or learning from a teacher- since when has there only been one correct answer? In my opinion for most people it's best to learn from an experienced teacher- that is also the simplest way, as long as you can find a teacher. However, after all we've got everything within us and can also learn on our own. I think Eric Clapton taught himself playing guitar. And there are many other examples. So, I find it preposterous to claim that there's only one way which happens to be the way I chose.

Interesting, orb. Thanks for the translation. Could you find any info on his background, perhaps from the comments?

Weird thread. Anyways, I also read them both. I liked the first one, basically the stories told by John Chang. I wasn't too fond of the theories of the author. For the same reason I didn't like the second one much.

Interesting. I had seen the book at a book shop recently and took a look at it. I didn't buy it then, because I had already selected too many other books but made a note to check it out in the future. At AMZN: http://www.amazon.com/Last-Lecture-Randy-P...8358&sr=8-1 I have only listened to a few minutes of the video, but the titel and the topic reminded me of a great speech given by Steve Jobs a few years ago. You can find it here, if you haven't read it yet: 'You've got to find what you love,' Jobs says http://news-service.stanford.edu/news/2005...obs-061505.html

I was given the advice to concentrate on the heart chakra when the lust for sex becomes very strong. It has worked very well with me. Sex is the strongest urge we have, so it is not easy to ignore it. And- here I'm just guessing- it's probably not good to supress it but rather to transform it, which I think happens when one concentrates on the heart chakra.

Just yesterday the UK Ministry of Defense released some files on UFOs. Here's an article in the Times: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article4974540.ece Two commentators are outraged that their government had just decided to take the risk of starting an interplanetary war at that time without consulting their people. And obviously the odds of the humans' winning that war wouldn't have been that great. Here's the link to the archive: http://ufos.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ and more info on it: http://www.mod.uk/DefenceInternet/DefenceN...herUfoFiles.htm

What a horrible experience. Such a bastard. Hopefully, one day he'll overcome his anger, hatred and contraction and realize his stupidity.

Has anyone tried the Mind Light Nei Gung System by Gary Clyman?
genmaicha replied to Yasel4life's topic in General Discussion
I just glanced at his site. Lots of hype and salesman ship. I think I read "best chikung on the planet". I cannot judge his ability, but the site raise a BIG red flag and the video seems weird. I wouldn't enjoy such a practice. I don't know when he started to use the term neigong, but in general it seems that many people have started to use that now for better marketability. I'm sure it won't be long until we see the term "yin yang gong" get advertised as well. -
Hi, I just received the book ordered through lulu. The first time I saw the web site I was very skeptical. Normally it is rare for someone to master one practices but in Max's case mastership of several arts and practices is claimed, Chinese QiGong/NeiGong, Tibetan practices, American Indian, Egyptian, Wow. The video showing Max to lead people into ecstacy or moving them raised a red flag as well. It reminded me of Frank Dux, albeit more sophisticated. Not to talk about the faked death and that people who have studied with him before apparently say that he looks very different now. Or how Kan dismaterialized spontaneously at a Starbucks in Japan or how the DNA is changed. But then I read Tao Bum's experiences and how they were also skeptical at first but then convinced of the practice and Max. Also somehow I get a good and honest vibe from Max and Chris. So, I decided to order the book. I know that it is not so easy for me to open up so I'm not sure that I will soon see any results, but I'll give a try. I have a few questions that some can perhaps answer: 1. The first level seems to be seated on a chair. Is it possible to do the practice somehow differently? I sit on a chair the whole day at work. Also I've been trying to meditate and would like to continue sitting on the floor, which is good for opening the hips, too, and typical in Asia anyway vs. the Western chair. Perhaps standing is possible. 2. What's the deal with the fur? Why can't you just place the chair on the ground (or if sitting/standing is possible sit/stand on the ground or floor)? 3. I'm pretty sure that I won't be able to do the practice every day for the 1 hour plus 20 minutes coming down. Is it ok to practice let's say four times a week? Is it ok to practice say 40 minutes with 10 minutes coming down? 4. About the 100 day retention- What if you have a wet dream? All in vain? 5. I'd like to continue my dynamic Hatha yoga practice, however been a bit scared by Max's warning in the book not to do other energetic practices as this might lead to energetic sickness. Is hatha yoga (not talking about Yogi Bhajan's kundalini yoga) practice compatible with Kunlun? By the way the book is quite nice. It's quite short and a small format. I like the design and the way it is written (at least the about thirty pages I've read so far.).

Grind your buckwheat, oat or similar grains, soak in water overnight and eat raw with some fruits, nuts, etc.. No problem. Unless you have a sensitive stomach like me. Then you bring it to quick boil. Still very good. I thought many Asians can't tolerate dairy products well. Many Caucasians can't either. I always order my cafe latte with soy milk or lactose free milk. I like the taste of raw milk, though. But drinking copious amounts doesn't make much sense to me. Milk was meant to be drunk by calves to grow rapidly, wasn't it.

Thank you all for your kind and informative replies. Very helpful. I'm looking forward to trying the practice.

It's interesting that in these times where the world is coming closer together and knowledge is getting shared more and more the elders of the Mopai have decided to restrict the knowledge and base admission on race. By elders I mean the ancestors who have apparently delivered this verdict. Master John Chang seemed to have had a different idea with him teaching people with no regard to their ethnicity and contacting Blair again after the visions he had seen in his retreat. But apparently he had to oblige. I wonder what the reasons for the ancestors are and what the precise criteria are. I thought that the higher one got in their at least spiritual development the more one realizes that all is one and everyone is a manifestation of the divine. Also is the admission limited to Han Chinese or are Hakka, Hui and perhaps even Uighurs and Tibetans admitted? It's also an interesting point for the people who are fascinated with the Mopai. Do you really want to become part of a group that discriminates upon race? It seems that the ancestors share some very anachronistic and narrow minded views that they impose upon their members.

It seems that this gentleman is a spokesperson for the group: http://www.kiwigrowthpartners.com/team.html Quite a CV. Here's his book. http://www.amazon.com/Make-More-Money-Now-...9130&sr=1-1

Mike you write: "Most of you will not be aware that Jim, AKA 'mopaistudent' joined this forum not to 'share' his knowledge and experience of the Mo Pai, but because he wanted me to share the details of my teacher and school with him. I have the private messages saved to prove the point, if need be. " From the outside this connection seems difficult to follow. To me it seems that Jim has posted here and on other boards to share the knowledge he has gotten with other people. Additionally he obviously wants to progress in his practice. Since Master Chang apparently is not allowed to pass on further knowledge to him, he reaches out to others on the path. What is so bad about that? How did you get to know your teacher? Often we have to rely on the help of others and vice versa help others when we can. Whether Jim has permission to share his Mopai knowledge or not is a case between him and Master Chang.

Hi, a friend of mine had told me that the longer one does not ejaculate the better the quality of the semen and the higher the chance for pregnancy. What do you think of this? Another friend is trying to have their second child and have had no luck so far. Do you recommend the above suggestion or anything else besides invitro? They are both end-thirties.

Increasing pregnancy chance via retention?

Very interesting. At least she says that she wants to get pregnant. However, I don't know her that well to be able to tell if she really means it. -
Who is /are Max's Egyptian teachers?
genmaicha replied to Wun Yuen Gong's topic in General Discussion
At first I was quite surprised to hear about Egypt teachings, because I haven't really come across any live ones. But the I remembered that the author of "A Search in Secret India", Paul Brunton (it's basically on meeting yogis in India in the 30s, I believe, and also Ramana Maharshi) wrote books on Egyptian teachings. I only read "Secret India" which I found very interesting, though some stories seemed unbelievable, but do not know how the other books are. Ijust checked the titles. One is called "A Search in Secret Egypt". -
Tell me more about this John Chang.

Who are you talking about? What makes you the authority on this? -
Patrick, how can you be sure that this guy Derren Brown is not doing staged stuff like Criss Angel with the people in the vid being in on this? I mean how would the guy fall back here?

Thanks for the update here, Chinadao. It was claimed by the Lei Shan Dao/Foundation people that Wang Shifu walked through a wall. Can you confirm these kinds of supernatural abilities of Wang Shifu? Re the b/w picture of Wang Shifu he sure has a very nice full lotus there. And if I may say so he looks a bit like Bruce Lee in this picture (and no, that's not because he's Asian and they all look the same to me; I've met many and can differentiate them pretty well :-)).

I see. Cheers
