  1. The polarity of healing/curing

I'm going to preface this, for those just tuning in, by saying that this is about the Heilkunst system of medicine, which is the complete system of medicine developed by Dr. Hahnemann, which includes homeopathy. What I'm presenting here is only certain points, the tip of the iceberg. In order to fully understand how these insights grew out of the observation of actual laws of nature, there's a large body of writings to provide that grounding - Dr. Hahnemann's original work, and the work of those who have brought it into current practice. Yes. That's a good way to put it. The condition or symptoms are only the outer expression of the disease. The disease itself is a distinct entity, an energetic or spirit-like impingement on the person's energy (etheric) body. The remedy is given according to the law of similars, and it's energized, or dynamized so that it can reach to the same level as the disease. (Just an aside note - This is actually a principle that is recognized not only in homeopathy and Heilkunst but in some schools of herbalism (spagyric) in which it's understood that a plant has a dynamic essence that acts more deeply than it does in its usual crude form. So an alchemical process is used to raise the plant to this higher potential and bring out its medicinal action. In herbalism, though, the herb processed this way is still chemically active, whereas the remedies most often used in homeopathy and Heilkunst aren't.) Yes, cancer as a miasm is exactly that. The tumor that is thought to be cancer is just a symptom, not the disease itself, but there is a distinct disease called cancer that causes it. Disease is "beneficial" in the sense that it involves us in a spiritual process, to extract the spiritual meaning of the disease, so that we evolve in consciousness. Many self-limiting diseases can be completely overcome by the natural heailng power of the body, such as childhood illnesses like chicken pox, etc. The child goes through that challenge and if it's not suppressed, the child emerges stronger for it, and the disease leaves no residue, no remaining impingement. They've embodied a spiritual lesson through that challenge. But with many diseases especially chronic diseases, the natural healing power of the body keeps trying to respond to it by producing symptoms, but can't overcome it completely, so medicinal remedies are needed, and they remove the blockage and help the person move forward. Exactly. For example, the same physical symptoms in different people may be caused by a different combination of disease entities and imbalances in each person. But if we're talking about cancer as a miasm, that is a distinct disease entity. The image of a scalpel is perfect. I think what you're asking is can the remedy be delivered without the physical form of it? Yes. First the correct diagnosis has to be made. We need to identify the disease (I'll say more about that in a minute), and then we know which is the similar remedy. Then we need to give that remedy in the dynamic potency required in a given situation (and there can be several remedies needed at a given time). How the diagnosis is done, though, isn't simply by an intellectual analysis of the case. Because the disease is an energetic entity, the practitioner needs to be able to observe what we call "supersensible" phenomena. This isn't psychic perception, but it means to engage the esthetic, noetic mind that is capable of making creative associations and illuminations, which the intellect alone can't. This supersensible perception isn't separated from the intellect; in fact it illuminates the intellect and brings it to a higher level of Reason. This is how we can have an objective and rational science, so the diagnosis isn't a matter of the practitioner's subjective perception. This way of perceiving the patient requires a deeper interaction than a straightforward analysis of the patient's history or symptoms, although it also includes looking at all of that. Now, once the diagnosis is made, we already know the remedy, as that is the true nature of diagnosis. As far as delivering the remedy, that can be done in a number of ways. We can use remedies made traditionally from the original substance. Remedies can also be made radionically, by imprinting the energy pattern onto another carrier. A carrier isn't always needed at all, as the energy can be transmitted other ways, but often people need a physical carrier to focus the energy. The delivery of the remedy doesn't depend on the skill of the practitioner - the diagnosis does, which tells the practitioner which remedy is needed. After that, the practitioner just delivers it in whatever form they decide is appropriate or practical. Many homeopaths keep searching for more remedies, because their treatment doesn't work well enough. And they become mired in intellectual abstractions. But Dr. Hahnemann knew that he didn't need to keep proving more and more remedies - he needed to bring out a deeper understanding of the principles of nature that would inform the use of the remedies, and that he did. And a note about complication.. Nature is complex, not complicated. Complication is like having a multitude of data and plowing through it in a linear, intellectual way. That loses the living essence of it. But to reduce it down to something simplistic is also to lose the living essence of it. We need simple keys to unlock the full complexity of truth. I hope that helps.. thanks for asking such thought provoking questions! -Karen
  2. Things a Taoist do not eat

In my experience, what is most powerful is not what I do or don't do.. not what I eat or don't eat.. but the attachment to belief about what I should or shouldn't do. If I cling to the idea of a right diet, the clinging itself is where the blockage is. So I ask myself, what would I have to face within myself, if I didn't have this attachment? And that's where my real work is.
  3. Scoliosis fix (back problem)

Hehe, the perennial question - will it work? Well, the potential is always there, and then it depends on a lot of personal factors. My feeling is that the approach is sound, it's not a major investment, and it can only help. To what extent, you'll find out, and you may need to address the problem from various angles including nutrition, emotional processing, etc. In the book is a photo of Esther's husband at age 27 with the worst posture, side by side with a photo of him in his 40's, much improved and looking generally healthier. If you like working with the book, you might consider augmenting it with a session with Esther.. or look into osteopathic manipulation. I had scoliosis that I didn't treat until I was in my 30's, but it resolved with osteopathic treatment from a *cranial* osteopath trained in the Sutherland method. That was way before I knew about the Gokhale method. I'm thinking it might have taken less time with the osteopathy if I'd been also working with posture on my own. But you'll see what combination of things works for you. -Karen
  4. Scoliosis fix (back problem)

I think there's a lot you can do on your own first. You might want to look at Esther Gokhale's work, which has reversed scoliosis for many people. She does individual sessions with people using voip programs like Skype, but also you can learn a lot of good techniques just by reading her book. It's pretty cheap considering how comprehensive it is, and you might find used copies on amazon. Usually I don't like learning practical exercises from a book, but this one is done so well. I put up a 1-hour video presentation of hers here. -Karen

  6. Dealing with a parent with dementia

Also, many of the drugs that elderly people take on a regular basis for other issues, can easily cause symptoms associated with dementia. So it's important to look at the meds they're taking and rule that out as a cause. Many older people are taking a multitude of drugs, many of them unnecessary, often in doses that are too high for them, some drugs for the side effects of others - and the interactions among them can be powerful.
  7. Dealing with a parent with dementia

ToP-fan, I went through this with my father. It really helps to have a support system for yourself as well as for the parent, because you're going to need help yourself, as you're finding out. You might try thinking of the behavior as just a symptom of the disease. At first my father began to be forgetful, and gradually his cognitive ability declined. He would often say sentences that dropped key words so that it was difficult to figure out what he was trying to say. In the beginning, it was frustrating for me, and I would often feel irritated. But as I got more used to the idea that this was the disease talking, not him, I became more tolerant, and it became easier in that sense. Of course it was difficult to be close to him and be a caretaker while watching the decline. But when I stopped expecting him to behave and speak in the way that I wanted him to, it was a big relief. Part of the irritation for me was really a coverup for the grief of losing him. And we usually project onto our parents a kind of responsibility or authority, a sense that they're capable and competent. And it's difficult to face the reality that they're human and subject to decline and death. Facing that is a major emotional process for us. What helped me most was to deal with that internally, so I didn't continue to project my childlike expectations onto him, and also so that I could begin my grieving. The grieving is not only for a death, but for the loss of who we expect our parents to be for us. That's the process of growing up the parts of us that don't always come to maturity just because we go through the usual milestones of getting older. And it's a process we all have to go through whether our parents decline in this particular way or not, but dealing with a parent with dementia can actually be a spiritual gift, in a way, to help us learn spiritual lessons. It was a difficult, sad, yet also precious time for me that helped me make an even deeper spiritual connection with him as the other avenues of connection were being cut off. Sometimes the disease process can be relieved, and in other cases dementia is the person's way of gradually disengaging from their earth life. You might have an intuitive sense as to what your mom's higher self needs to do. I had my father treated in a way that helped him release some of the emotional frustration of not being able to communicate, and that helped him to be more comfortable. He also had a more calm disposition and had more moments of clarity due to that. The dementia can be reversed in many cases, if that's what the higher self needs. Often people decline this way after a major emotional trauma that the person is not processing, so anything to help your mother to process her grief, in whatever way is appropriate for her, should help. Blessings, Karen

Yes, but I should clarify some terms first, and I'll start a new thread for that.

  10. Cancer is a Fungus

While we're using the term "energy" heailng, there is another distinction - energy healing that balances is different from energetic treatment that destroys a disease entity through resonance. The energy healing we're most familiar with is based on the law of opposites - if you have too much or too little of a particular energy pattern, you address the excess or deficiency - that's all about balance. Dr. Hahnemann found that the complete remediation process is a polarity and has two sides - one is healing, which is about balance, and for which we invoke the law of opposites to balance. That can include nutrition, bodywork, energy balancing, etc. The other side of the polarity is curing, which is to remove a disease impingement, and that needs to be energetic because the disease entity itself is energetic. That requires using the law of similars. Sometimes the situation is a simple one of imbalance, and the healing side is all you need in a particular situation. But most of us have deeper disease impingements that ancient people largely didn't have, so the healing methods they used aren't always enough for our complex conditions in which both sides of the polarity of healing/curing need to be addressed. That's just a very bare bones outline of a complex subject, which is difficult to summarize because it may bring up more questions than it answers, but there's much more written on this if anyone's interested. -Karen
  11. Cancer is a Fungus

Yes, all the detox, diet, nutrition, are all an important part of a complete system of therapeutics. it's not an either/or or either energetics or physical processes. A rational system of therapeutics includes an understanding of jurisdiction - where each method fits in and exactly what level it addresses. It doesn't irrationally or dogmatically hold a preference for energetic treatment, but it discerns exactly what the particular problem is, what jurisdictions are involved, and creates a protocol that addresses the complexity of it. It's not just a matter of cultivating a lot of energy. It's not just a matter of abstract theory, but of a science that is grounded in real life principles and the living context of each particular case. The intellect wants to divide things up into either/or, but a rational system of medicine can advise you to brush your teeth while at the same time addressing the root cause of your tooth problem. It can also allow for palliation - helping you manage symptoms in the meantime while the cause is being removed. But there's a clear understanding of exactly what is being done - otherwise people are only trying to make symptoms go away, and using a hit-or-miss approach to try to get somewhere without a map of the territory. -Karen
  12. Cancer is a Fungus

Yes, there are many possible reasons for that, which don't invalidate Dr. Hamer's research. Hamer discovered principles for understanding the nature and function of cancer, although his work doesn't include a well developed system of therapeutics. He mainly uses psychotherapy to try to resolve the biological conflict, but this is often not enough. The Heilkunst system of medicine is the well developed system of therapeutics that takes Dr. Hamer's principles further. But I bring out Dr. Hamer's work first, because it's an excellent introduction to the concept that cancer is a state of mind that gives rise to the rogue cells, and that there is a purpose that the disordered cellular activity is trying to fulfill. And the fact that Dr. Hamer showed this all scientifically is phenomenal. The tumor is not the disease but a symptom of the healing stage, which often is blocked from resolving. So the the natural healing power of the body is sort of spinning its wheels, and the healing symptoms themselves can become dangerous. To target the real underlying cause, the disease itself, is not to focus on the tumor but to address the state of mind at a deeper level than the tissue/cellular level. How that's done is a whole nother discussion! I'll write more on this when I can devote some time to discussion. -Karen

And I would add, the zappers from Orgone Crystals are orgone zappers just like Don Croft's. And the service and quality of the products there are superb.
  14. Cancer is a Fungus

Ok.. Dr. Hamer's work is a first step, an important step in our understanding of the mind-body connection and the actual mechanism of how it plays out in cancer. But the understanding of cancer and its treatment goes even further.. I'd want to put together an article that introduces what I've learned about this, and bring in Dr Hamer's work within that context. Then I'll start a new thread. -Karen
  15. Hi Ian, you might want to rule out the possibility of chlorine toxicity causing skin symptoms.
  16. Cancer is a Fungus

If anyone is interested in exploring the work of Dr.Ryke Geerd Hamer on cancer, who showed scientifically what the real root causes are and how microbes enter in (they're correlative, not causative) - here's a series of short articles I wrote summarizing his work.
  17. Horrible Posture

Yes, without using clinical terms. I think you'd love the book, especially the gorgeous photos!
  18. That site is a great resource. Healing only goes so far.. Just like a yin/yang polarity, the process of complete remediation has a dual function as well, and healing is only one side. The other side is called curing, but according to principles of natural law - not the magic trick "cure" of making symptoms appear to go away, which allopathic medicine keeps chasing. Healing is all about balancing energies, and that's a necessary part of the picture, but the other side needs to be addressed as well. Qigong works on the healing side. But the shock of the vaccine, and other types of traumas, becomes an energetic entity, sort of like a pregnancy that balancing alone can't remove. You can do many things to try to stimulate the release of toxins from the vaccine, but if the energetic imprint of the trauma is still there, the body won't release them completely. That's often why detoxification protocols and heavy metal chelation don't work very well. There's a deeper reason why the body is holding onto the stuff. And it's the trauma itself that is damaging, besides the toxic substances. Trauma can trigger latent inherited weaknesses into action, and that can have an even more damaging effect than the toxins themselves. But we have a system of medicine that can remove those shocks and traumas, and that's the Heilkunst system. I have some introductory articles: What is Heilkunst? Healing vs. Curing and many others in the Articles sections Treatment for vaccine damage isn't just a matter of giving the right remedy, but has to be part of the larger context of the whole case, addressing the traumas in sequence according to natural laws, so it's a more complex matter, but Heilkunst practitioners are doing this on a regular basis. When autistic kids who have so much vaccine damage are treated this way, in many cases their lost functions return without a trace of evidence that they ever had the diagnosis of autism. And this is being done routinely, at a very high success rate. Of course it doesn't make news for political reasons, but for anyone who wants to look into this, the literature is there. Blockages can be a matter of imbalance, which the healing principle of energy methods like qigong and acupuncture can address. But there are also blockages that the healing principle doesn't address. We've had a lot of discussion here about them.. you might want to bring up those older posts. I've been using orgone generators for about 5 years now, well worth having them around.. I wouldn't look to that as a solution to the vaccine problem, though! -Karen
  19. Last time you were sick?

'welcome. If you want to know what's the deal on the polio vaccine, that's a whole 'nother story, long and fascinating one. Well, for now, I wanted to let people know that the Hahnemann Center Clinic in Ottawa gives FREE homeopathic flu vaccines, just call 613-692-6950 (Eastern time) to set up a short phone appointment. When they do that in the fall/winter, they call back in spring to see how you did, and for their research.
  20. Last time you were sick?

American soldiers actually had many vaccinations since 1911, for typhoid and other diseases. Many vaccinations were given to soldiers in 1917, and they were very weakened and were getting flu-like symptoms. So when they came home from war in 1918, there was massive fear mongering and the public was told they needed to get vaccinated to protect themselves. So the vaccines were immune suppressive, then the fear itself was a potent immune suppressant, then to top it off, aspirin was used to suppress the acute inflammation while in a weakend condition, and that was the last straw. A lot of people died in a short time, which never happens with the natural flu. The homeopaths during that time who gave homeopathics and not aspirin, didn't have their patients die. A good article about that is here.
  21. That's what they say, but a virus is information, like a small amount of someone shouting in your ear gets a point across as much as a lot of shouting in your ear. The problem is that the "small amount" in vaccines is still a very crude material dose of the virus, as compared with the homeopathic vaccine which has no material substance left. The idea of vaccination is to give the body a small exposure to the disease, and the disease is not the material virus, but an energetic, non-material entity. When you give a small material dose, all you are doing is poisoning. A small homeopathic dose is what really works according to the principle that immunization is based on, the law of similars, without doing harm. Hippocrates knew about the law of similars but refused to use it because it was too dangerous to use with material doses, which is all he had. Dr. Hahnemann was the first to discover how to use it safely, after developing the use of the "homeopathic" dose. He researched this principle his entire career.. using the law of similars with material doses always did harm (this is confirmed in the modern Anrdt-Schultz law). Whereas using the law of similars with dynamic doses ("homeopathic") only strengthened the person against the disease, according to the principle of homeopathic provings, where homeopathic doses of disease agents are tested on otherwise healthy people and only strengthen them. The concept of immunization is sound, but it's a matter of how it's done. You take the vaccine, and now you have a new, vaccine-induced disease, and it's "sub-clinical," going on in the background. It's not as acute as the natural disease would be. In other words, the "artificial" disease is strong enough that it suppresses the symptoms of the natural disease, because two similar diseases can't occur at the same time. But the artifical disease is even more harmful. If you got the natural disease and allowed that to run its course, it might be more acute at first but it would be self-limiting and you'd be rid of it completely after a week or two. With the vaccine-induced disease, the symptoms may not be as intense, because you don't get the natural disease anymore. Now you have a chronic illness, and you're more subject to developing autoimmune disease. Yup, it does seem unlikely, but you can google that and find lots of references. It's not true for all vaccines, but quite a few. And read the actual package inserts, not just the leaflets given to patients. http://www.whale.to/vaccines/pack.html I'm actually in the process of putting together a summary of the main points on this issue with all the best references I have, and I'll post that when it's done.
  22. Last time you were sick?

I would say most often when people die after such ailments, it's not from those diseases themselves, but from the suppressive treatment. The flu itself isn't really a health threat - the real threat is the manufactured pandemic with a manufactured vaccine "solution." Flu-like conditions when suppressed with vaccines, and then antibiotics and anti-inflammatories to bring the fever down, all those suppressive measures drive the disease into more vital organs, and that's how pneumonia often develops. That can be very difficult for a person with a compromised immune system to throw off, once it's progressed that far. The statistics about people dying from flu are all conflated with the deaths from other conditions like pneumonia. Even the incidence of the flu itself is conflated with other flu-like conditions, all lumped together to make the flu look like a pandemic. The flu itself is very uncomfortable, but is rarely harmful, and much less prevalent than we're led to believe. If you're sick for a few days, you don't have the flu, no matter how flu-like it seems.
  23. And the sad part about it is that so many people are being damaged when there is an alternative approach that actually works, and without any potential for harm. One thing that people can do on their own is to buy Oscillococcinum from a health food store. The label says to take the whole entire vial at once, which is nonsense, and is only marketing to get you to buy more. You only need one pellet per dose - the number of pellets doesn't matter at all, since this is energy information which is not quantitative. Just take the smallest amount you can shake out of the vial, to conserve, so you'll never have to buy it again. You can take that at the first sign of flu-like symptoms, and then several times a day. Or you can use it preventively and take it as soon as you buy it. This is quite effective on its own, although a homeopath who does homoprophylaxis can get an even higher success rate.
