Hey, I was just looking over Taoist Secrets of Love...
Max replied to MatthewQi's topic in General Discussion
Man, I bought your Prostate health materials with a promise of attaining the Tao and all I got is a really pleasurable sensation in my scrotum. Now, I was promised something completely different as I quote from your advertisement: "You will attain the Tao, you closeted damn stupid fag, by sticking a dildo up your asshole and performing a number of highly advanced and secret rituals that available only to a very select few. Are you a part of those "select few"? Don't think so, 'cause you look like a fag to me. But today is your lucky day and for a limited time only, it's available to fags like yourself for 3 easy payments of $39.95...." Now, if this is not a promise then I don't know what is! I haven't attained the Tao yet with your false practices, with exception of a number of anal orgasms and most of them were fake. Well... most of them. -
Yeah, same here. All the little pores and channels are opening up and so is the circulation, or at least that's what I feel is going on.

You exhale through THE SAME nostril you used to inhale. Try to be very relaxed or the purpose of this practice will go to waist.

The most serious issue facing the United States...

Matt, You do vasectomy and you can kiss any possible cultivation progress goodbye. Take care of yourself and remember this: there were countless numbers before you who chose an excuse to follow an easy path of "Oh, as long as I'm open to the Spiritual Consciousness, sexual retention doesn't matter because the infinite supply of energy is flowing through me..." For people who has the same sort of thinking, here is a thought you can repeat to yourself as you fall asleep: THERE IS NO EASY PATH... You WILL have to put years of meditation, discipline and meritorious deeds to reach even lowest stages of wisdom to see if you are on the right track. And the blissful bodily sensations associated with those lower stages are so intense that any argument about sexual gratification will sound like a joke. The subject of vasectomy came up many times before and people who know and have great spiritual accomplishments all say one thing: DON"T DO IT. It does'n work the way you described in your post. It's not that easy. And the damage is irreversable, and so you will have to be reborn to finish off anything you started this life time. Wish you the best.... -

Brother, Thank you for the pictures. I'm thinking of putting the best one on my desktop to remind me of what really is important. See: 1. http://forum.taobums.com/viewtopic.php?top...eads&p=405&t=97 2. http://www.beyondthenet.net/medit/GaminiPr...templation.html

So true. Not female, though. -
... for your comments. It looks like it's just a test to distruct. Death puts it all in perspective.

Yes, it's possible. Just like winning the lottery. If you are capable of stopping your thoughts, espesially about sex and practicing emptiness not just in meditation but anywhere you go, then you can do it. And that assuming, you have no sex or wet dreams. Mrs. Yoda will bust your balls in your sleep before the year end.
-
Yoda, Yes, I believe it's a natural stage of development when the conditions are right and you don't need to eat, or sleep for that matter. For the majority of people this stage will never come for a variety of reasons, but mainly because of karma and insufficient spiritual development. I believe if you meditate every day and do good to people (and spirits  ), with addition of sungazing, you can probably do it in a year or so. It could actually be much sooner if you do retention. Cool stuff with your daughter. You must have a very supportive wife if she puts up with all your "crazy" interests.

Yeah, I took Iron Shirt 1 with Sharon Smith as well. I also had books and videos on Iron Shirt 123, and took Bone Marrow NK with Ron Diana. I practiced Bone Marrow Hitting and Bone Breathing for more then a year every day just to find out if it's worth it (although i changed hitting patterns based on meridian energy flow and the time of the day, because if you do it the way Chia says, it will cause you major problems). Eventually my goals changed and I stopped doing it (it is possible that my change was because of practicing BMarrow stuff). I took this from Chia's site: http://www.universal-tao.com/tao/course_ht...onShirtChiKungI The core of Iron Shirt I consists of the chi packing and breathing process and the Iron Shirt postures. By using certain standing postures, muscle locks and breathing techniques, one learns how to draw and circulate energy from the earth, nature and the universe and how to pack the chi into the vital organs and connective tissues, the spine and the bones. This will strengthen and rejuvenate them, as well as the tendons, muscles, and bone marrow. The bold parts is where Iron Shirt is different form 9 Bottle. It doesn't guide, circulate or pack anything. I'm really glad you are on this forum. I wish you well.

Hi Michael, Just want to point an important part of 9 bottle breathing from your HT post: Being completely relaxed is the main point of this practice. As you inhale and hold the breath, you should use as little force as possible. That's the trick that opens all your little meridians. If one tenses even a bit, the meaning and the effect of the practice is lost. Chia's Iron Shirt uses a different principal. Michael Winn doesn't teach it for many good reasons. Somewhere long time ago a master meditated and observed the energy movement within his body. Later, he wrote down his experiences, and as many more masters wrote their own similar observations about energy movement, some people read them and thought they could assimilate those experiences in their daily practice. They thought they can reverse engineer the spiritual accomplishments by focusing on the effects to reach the cause. Some of them still do.

Brilliant!

Thanks Yoda. I have a good feeling about this one. Too bad we found out about this right before winter so there isn't much sun around here in NYC, plus buildings blocking it. Yes, I've heard before from different sources that you have to be qualified to do Dark Room Retreat (a student has to have at least first dhyana). They are not very common in Tibet when they lock you up in a box with just a small mailbox size opening for food, and you either come out through transforming your body or die. Also, the teacher has to be quailified to guide the student through the Retreat, and from what I understand threre are very few masters that can do that.

Ronny, please don't take it personally... Plato is the last person here who deserves ALL-CAPS-"REAL-LIFE"-KICK-IN-DA-ASS scares. Don't look at what people say- look at what they do. And only based on that consider if they deserve your respect. I know Plato does in my book.

I'm the one that said "NO" in the poll. Training blog is useless just like Wiki page. Instead of wiki, we need Articles page where we put the most useful and practice oriented posts as articles that can't be changed.

I would do visualizations for 30 minutes and then final phase for another 30. As days go by, the time that you spend on the last phase can be easily extended.. you will probably feel like doing it yourself and it will become one of the most enjoyable parts of practice. Later you can just start with the last part and forget about the rest.

Yes, and I saw Amazon.com too. I actually used it just now to buy a book for a friend who speaks spanish. Called "Los Veinticinco Portales de La Meditacion" by William Bodri.... a spanish version of "25 doors..."

Good post. Yet, you have to look at what your goals are. If you want to become a very strong and powerful being with amazing martial art skills, then you should concentrate on those type of practices. Just remember that spiritual traditions that are the most successful in producing enlightened masters omitted these practices in their teachings how to reach high states of cultivation. I think they did it for a good reason.

Yoda, don't forget that the last part of WSM is the major and the most important part of the practice. And, btw, thanks for the link on sungazing.

A few good articles on the subject: http://www.rense.com/general59/anirr.htm http://www.rense.com/general49/illeg.htm http://www.rense.com/general59/IMA.HTM Europe faces the same problem as well with people coming from India, China and Africa. I think Oil shortage and Overpopulation are two factors that will destroy this world in a very near future. We are literally killing ourselves and becoming a pest, a virus that this planet has to deal with. Bird flu is one of ways to do it. http://www.cnn.com/2004/HEALTH/11/25/birdflu.warning/ -
From what I understand, all those bone density excercises including Bone Marrow Nei Kung are not what they seem to be. Through cultivation practices the bones become soft and flexible like babies, and the effect would be you feel like walking on sponge with pleasurable effects. Hitting and massaging them is effective to a certain degree but if you are packing jing/energy into your bones, you will have a really hard time transforming them through meditation. As they say bone/hair/nails transformation will come last on the cultivation path, and it's the hardest to accomplish, even without "bone densing" practices. That's why the masters who transform their bodies before they die leave their hair and nails behind.
