thanks all. i wasnt sure if the repulse feeling i was getting from her was intuition, or social conditioning against new agey loonies.

keep the ones that you find helpful, eat the ones that don't.

more classes will be added as time progresses.

findley, i understand you. i am sorry if i come off as something of a contentious know-it-all. i have been down this road i spent many hours contemplating this. reason in the realm of the mystery will get you nowhere. you must understand it with your unconscious mind/body. I highly recommend trance. it allows you to work with your whole being. your rational mind will never understand it fully. thats why it is called the mystery. look at it this way. movement and stillness. from the stillness arises movement. stillness has the potential to hold any kind of movement. stillness/void is unlimited potential. it has no flavor and potentially every flavor. when a movement occurs then the potential doesnt disappear it is fulfilled. this is the union of bliss (energy) and emptiness (potential) chi knows this. you let go of your rational mind (ego) and surrender to the wisdom of the universe (the union or mystery) it is called the mystery so we can not fit it into the ego. peace brother

it varies in intensity. The goddess i use most often is hecate. When i was a child and a southern babtist christian i just thought she was the product of imagination. Like my imaginary friend. the images vary in intensity. they get better as you develop your visualization skills and learn to use more of your unconscious mind. it starts out as imagination, it moves to "movies on the back of your eyelids" then to a point where it is completely real for you. as for the feelings. she gives me certain emotions. like notice how certain people make you feel certain things. if you see an old friend you will feel different than if you see your boss, and another different feeling if you see a romantic difference. this slowly develops too. first it is emotion. then it becomes intuitive. when this starts to happen, you will come away from interactions with knowledge of people that you have no rational way of knowing. the energy of the beings you are trying to access will be stronger that that of the normal people you meet. the anime is called maria-sama ga miteru. it is a really deep anime, the shoujo-ai and the virgin mary focused Catholicism gives it a subtle feeling of goddess worship. i recommend it.

yes primarily goddesses. sometimes fairies, elementals, or ascended masters, or other beings. I state the intent to connnect. then wait for whatever response (use the phenomonon that we in the west call imagination). i usually get a feeling and and an energetic image. then for the interaction, sometimes i will ask for advice, blessings ect. Sometimes we will just share each others presence.

i think i understand where you are coming from more now. I find that the states of consciousness where you are in touch with the mystery, are also ecstatic. Its not like being happy how normal people are happy. you may find that practices that induce the trance state (such as hypnosis, or certain types of cultivation) will be on your wavelength.

the mystery comes in every flavor, and and sometimes all of them at once. to say that mysterious pass is nothing is to say that it is all things. void is the unlimited potential. the taichi is part of the wuchi, and the wuchi is part of the taichi. they are inseparable. union is blissful. ecstasy creates the universe.

ive seen it before. It sums up my basic theory of life.

I generally hold holy spirit, divine energy, and shakti to be the same phenomenon. as you stated earlier. To illustrate. When i was much younger (before i was introduced to other religions than southern baptist christianity) i used to ride the school bus morning and night. I would sit in silence most of the time. I happened to discover that if i had the intent to connect to the holy spirit I would get a chilling sensation that shot up my spine. I spent many bus rides lost in this ecstatic state. sheol seems similar to the European pagan concepts of the underworld. not necessarily evil or good. does anyone have any useful sources for kaballah ?

thing about it is: The bible is written in symbolism. its kind of like a secret code. ive never met a "christian" who understands the code. I recommend that you grab "the message" bible. either the normal or the remix. Its translated from the original greek. Its actually a pretty good read. Theres no old english so its not so arcane. Clear your mind of what people have told you about the bible and read. you will come away with a totally different understanding. the message audio bible on amazon.com Then buy man and his symbols by carl jung. Apply what you learn to the bible. man and his symbols audiobook on amazon.com the above is probably your best bet. when you can talk circles around your christian friends concerning the bible and its contents, they might back off. When you understand jungs stuff you might make them cry (or get yourself some taichi partners). the audiobook bible is the best way to go otherwise it will take you FOREVER to read it. Genesis The symbolism of the garden of eden represents man before he fully evolved. the process of evolution is represented by the snake. the reason why the snake is portrayed as evil is because this evolution allowed humans to develop the ego. The ego is a false self. It is the equivalent of satan in the bible. But the snake also brought knowledge. You will see that many ancient cultures revered snakes. The greek symbol for a healer is that of 2 snakes entwined on a staff. the snake represents the kundalini ( a sanskrit term for a raising of energy through the spine that leads to samadhi or enlightenment). known in taoist alchemy as the enlightenment of the kan and li (fire and water). gods word: pop-christianity takes gods word to mean the bible. In actuality gods word is a concept that has roots in many cultures as well. The hebrew kaballah (jewish mysticism) illmu kebatinan (sufi or islamic mysticism) and yoga (hindu mysticism) all incorporate a similar concept. there are more but i am not so familiar with them as to be able to speak authoritatively on the subject. mantra yoga uses mystical syllables to invoke various aspects of god. in the sufi tradition they use sounds which follow the same idea as mantras. in kaballah they have similar concepts. when god is creating the world he uses spoken words. this is a reference to the use of these mantras. joseph of the many colered coat, had the ability to interpret dreams. somewhere around genesis 40. This is a skill you can learn from the "man and his symbols" book. it is based in symbolism. as for martial arts. moses parting the water is similar to some indonesian martial arts practice. there is a reference somewhere in the moses books to throwing down a stave and it turning into a snake. In martial arts it is a common practice to use a small length of rope (kusari fundo i believe) in the same way you would grapple with a jo staff. the jesus symbolism will be easier to see in the message bible, as king james took great pains to hide the references in his bible. as for saul being struck down on the road to damascus. It is the effects of a shakti pat. It has happened to me before.

there are many parts of the bible that references martial arts and cultivation. 3 magi who came to pay homage to jesus are mystics (cultivators) of the zoroastrian religion. Moses books make hidden references to the martial arts he was trained in and the cultivation side (he was raised as an egyptian prince so he recieved all sorts of education) jesus stories are obviously a reference to enlightenment (the goal of taoist cultivation) and energy work. He and his disciples passed on their abilities through shakti pat or chi transmission. the old testament prophets like samuel are cultivators. Thats how you get phophetic vision, great strength, ect.. basically any holy man or woman would have a type of cultivation, because thats how one goes about becoming a holy man, or talking to god. also check out the mystic and gnostic sects of Christianity. they have the cultivation side of christianity still intact. Most likely your friends dont have any experience in these matters personally and are just listening to what their pastor or parents has been saying for years (you can tell because they rely heavily on the bible). This means that their idea of god is a projection of their superego (the sum of societies brainwashing).

yes, quoted it directly from his book im currently practicing his system http://www.kundaliniawakeningprocess.com/k...xplanation.html

try framing it differently. instead of this mentality "im having to put off my spiritual pursuits, in order to scratch claw and bite my way out of a feudal system. I am fighting against the tao attempting to compete for egotistical know-it-alls approval. This is not my future, and i feel as if it is just forcing me to adopt the mentality of scarcity that dominates our society." try this "Ill just sit here quietly biding my time, while they award me with all sorts of titles and honors. Then when they have dropped their guard, i will be in the perfect position to strike and bring down the system from the inside, using the resources they unwittingly gave me." it appeals to the saboteur archetype and makes everything more fun. look at emperor palpatine: Outwardly he appeared to be just an aging senator. In reality he was a sith lord manipulating events from behind the scenes, to bring down a corrupt and dogmatic theocracy (jedi order).

i believe its the chinese equivalent of Machiavelli's "the prince" or maybe similar to the art of war.

"A true warrior has the spirit of a great woman, speaks only from the heart, and breaths through his feet." -Ethiopian wisdom ha weposted the same thing

the basis of the argument on this thread seems to stem from the question: Does enlightenment have a form (energy work) Or is it formless (emptiness) I am of the opinion that it is both. It is the union of form and formless. shakti and shiva. this is the mysterious pass, as i understand it.

any good?
