  4. Meditation is boring and futile

your in your mind too much. you say you observe yourself, but its all in your head, go into the body, and the emotions. play with sensations use your imagination.
  5. New Age Urban Legends

the legends themselves dont matter, what matters is the point. do you agree that enlightened individuals energy fields can counteract the collect negative ego energy, and eventually overcome it? do you agree that people create meaningless distinctions, as opposed to seeing the essence of things do you agree that the mindset of the individual determines the difference between crisis and opportunity, are interesting times, authority figures, and objects of desire double edged swords. storytelling has been used since ancient times as a means for conveying wisdom. we cant get too caught up in "physical reality" because then we miss the point. everything is relative. the collective psyche posses its own version of reality. so does the individual soul.
  6. New Age Urban Legends

legends, urban or otherwise, represent patterns in the collective consciousness symbolically. They represent what we believe, and our values. they tell us things about the direction our culture is moving in.
  7. Was Michael Jackson a Taoist?

lol santiago actually used the term "like michael jackson", when describing the hand position for one of the sexual techniques in kap
  8. they have to sensationalize it to make a point. realistically you are more likely to die in a car accident than to get sued for internet piracy
  9. Was Michael Jackson a Taoist?

he was an artist, so by definition his work involved channeling the unlimited creative potential of the void into a physical form. the general consensus is that he was good at it.
  10. Is Micheal Jackson really dead?

    wizards never die....
  11. Regarding KAP

as far as the effect on spirituality on your ability to live in society, it is determined by the content of your soul. I am something of a hermit. So i like to spend a lot of time alone. It is not because i cant necessarily function with other people, i just like to be alone. It will be determined by your preferences. If you like people then you will be able to sontinue to be with them. You may find that your friends change to reflect your new interests. as far as kap goes, people are attracted to people with higher energy levels. The inner smile allows you to function without the negetivity that most people have. the chakra work will integrate the different aspects of yourself, so your interactons will be more effective. Imagine becoming more confident, strong, cool, creative, sexual, enthusiastic, joyful, loving, peaceful, smart, artistic, intuitive, and divine. as far as your preferences, My taste in films has shifted to more deep symbolic, magical, fantasy films. I am not a fan of 3.5 hours of action as much as i used to be. Martial arts tend to be good interests, your focus may shift to the internal aspects. you might switch styles if you happen to belong to a style without the internal focus. you dont change into a new self, you bring out your true self, like becoming a paragon of yourself. you also get rid of all the things you dont need any more.
  12. Regarding KAP

kap could help you to heal the injury. also i sometimes use tennisballs to relaign my spine if sleeping throws it off
  13. I went into a hypnotic trance

i have been entering trances naturally lately, and also improved tranceing in hypnosis. may be something worth cultivating. hmm...
  14. I went into a hypnotic trance

try a pastlife regression or mabe just play around in the inner scenery, see if you meet anyone, ect..
  15. Herbs and menopause

I think your best bet would be to exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet and a multivitamin (try vitamin code for women). The best exercise for reducing the effects of aging is stretching combined with chi kung/ yoga. For specific herbs for feminine reproductive health try: Wild yam black cohosh licorice dong quai These contain some phytoestrogens, which your body will convert to estrogen.
  16. It has roots is different systems. If you are going to learn it, you should learn it in the context of that system. Kap is a whole system. kap uses all 5 elements/7chakras. tummo only uses fire. You might try tibetan buddhism. its where the word "tummo" comes from. you might be able to find similar practices in other systems as well.

  20. An easy yoga for me?

i like santiagos book guru secrets at umaatantra.com I practice the 8 practices from chapter 5 in addition to kap. I have also used the sun salutation before. I tried the 5 tibetans for a few weeks as well.
  21. Kunlun follow up poll

I practiced for 8 months (level one and 3 montsh of level 2). I got some results. I had no plans on quitting the practice. I had not recieved the transmission from max and did not know red phoenix. Vajrasattva was here on taobums and always provided me with useful information. He was offering the kap distance course. One day i decided to take it. so i quit kunlun. It was more of an instinctual thing than a rational planned decision. I had never recieved the kunlun transmission so i really cant compare the two systems. Kap has given me results faster though.
  22. meetup.com would probably help you trying to organise it.
  23. what santiago posted is meant to be used with various techniques taught in kap. 5point breathing, microcosmic orbit, macrocosmic orbit, bone breathing, hair breathing ect... can incorporate all of these "ingredients" The chakras and tummo incorporate the appropriate ones. Its where the energy for the practices comes from. "merging with the tao" would come after you have established your proficiency with chi.
  24. Kunlun follow up poll

i voted number 2. Kap has a lot of spontaneous movement practices. earth/ bone shaking, 5 point breathing, the water movements, the spider stretch. ive also practiced kunlun before.
