college education doesnt necessarily mean that people have higher IQs. I assume that there is a positive correlation though. vcraigp seems to represent a child from a ideal society, where children arent conditioned to be closed minded. unconditioned and myself seem to represent children from the more dominant society today, where children are taught to have closed minds. People from a society like this have to break free before we can join the real world.

I dont understand what you are talking about. Could you possibly elaborate on the nature of your question?
-
maybe it goes like this you begin with traditional beliefs. then you question it until you become agnostic then you even question the existance of god. then with an empty cup you can find your own answers. people like lao tzu, da Vinci, plato, and einstein. emotion tends to be associated with water while intellect tends to be associated with fire.

How Do The 7 Chakras Related to Tao?
phore replied to The Genuine Article's topic in General Discussion
I think that the chakras correspond to the endocrine system of the body and the dantiens correspond to the nervous system. the chakras and taoist practices are complementary as far as i know. -
Im guessing the tao thing to do would be to be the doormat. devotion, love, or something either that or DOMINATE yin or yang ?

Yes, the boat sequence comes to mind. I thought that it was funny how the general opinion of gotham was ruled by nothing other than mob psychology, the general public seems quick to forget things.

Ive heard that dance was traditionally a western path to enlightenment. Does anyone know anything about this. What styles of dance in particular. thanks
-
Mulan quan is a form of taichi that incorporates some moves from dance.

short of enlightenment, you might try some psychic defenses these two are from wicca visualize a shield of positive energy around you, powered by the earth. It only allows positive energy to pass through to you. or visualize a mirror that reflects any negativity back to its origin one from a tibetan tradition for sleeping visualize 4 light green dakinis (female enlightened wrathful deities) protecting you as you sleep you could find more techniques if you tried, or you could make up your own i guess.
