  1. Humans are not the only important thing on earth and there are far too many of us. If someone wishes to cancel another human coming into the world, well good on them I say. The Dalai Lama said a while back that he was not anti abortion, because we are quickly approaching a time when there will be too many mouths to feed, which will cause massive horrible death. He said the negative karma from contributing to that, offsets the Karma from the abortion, at this period. Christians love to think that they define and set all the moral standards, so they grab their megaphones, protest clinics and try to enforce and legislate their stupid views on everyone else. Talking about Selfishness as bad? They want to force the whole world to be Christian and punish those who don't share their views. That is true selfishness. They should all be flushed with the unwanted fetuses. Just letting you know i despise Christianity, and legislative oppressive traditions. Christians will destroy this earth. They {generally} refuse to act on environmental issues, as they see all the problems as leading to big Daddy's return who will magically fix all the problems. Something that has not developed a frontal cortex is merely the building blocks of a human being, and its spirit will easily move on to a more welcome womb. Death to the unwanted fetuses!
  2. Here in Australia, our Native brothers and sisters call birth and all related stuff 'Womens Business', which means Men have no authority or jurisdiction over any area within it. For thousands of years tribal women have used abortive measures if they felt they needed to. But wait! Holy cow, there must be millions of miscarriages a day! How terrible, every life is sacred, I am going to loose so much sleep thinking about the horror, that things die! So unnatural! We must protest Mother Nature, that murderous bitch that she is! Wait a min... that is probably what the Christians have been doing all this time...
  3. The 2 for 1 pack sounds good, if you can keep the second for some later rainy day. And pro lifers are just as valid in my book...
  4. Holy Guardian Angel

Um.. Invocation? Theurgy work is inviting the gods into our beings, to full possession. Which brings incredible benefits. It is highly positive. Are you sure you are posting in the right section. Theurgy is a crucial ingredient of Hermetics.
  5. The 'feminine' in many traditions is both the forces of Life and Death. If a woman wishes to terminate a human life growing within her, that is her decision and I will support it. And early stage fetus development, the brain development has not grown enough to be able to respond to pain, or to having a thinking mind. The fetus is not yet a person. As for 'its all a miracle from god' well big deal. So is everything before birth, in life, at the moment of death, and after death. I would rather shoot a Christian dead than allow them to dictate and enforce, to me or mine or anyone really, what people may do with their bodies...

Tell them not to come to Australia. Our despicable politicians have become very unkind to boat people...
  7. bliss vs Bliss

Actually, I don't think it can be lost... well I am not sure how to loose it anyway, and it has been many years... Its like once you know it, you can't really unknow it. But you can try to ignore it. Thats what I do. I do my best usually to ignore it. I was wounded deeply as a child, and that deep trauma is slowly getting better. Very slowly. But it wont unwind at my speed, or it would have unwound yesteryears. Unfortunately it is not under the jurisdiction of my conscious mind. For me that bliss and joy that you describe is always there. In excruciating mental, emotional or physical pain, while vomiting, yowling with a migraine, there is always this background of expansive bliss that is the actual nature of things. Last time I was vomiting I was nearly chocking from laughing so hard at the same time... But If I focus on it, I start to dissolve into that background. Unfortunately that 'sets off' or pressures the feeling of the trauma I still carry, and while I can say that the state is deeply healing for countless lesser 'issues', it just does not unwind the really deep stuff. Feeling the two at once, is like being torn apart... Actually, I should add that it was not like this at first. It was later on, as the feeling of the state, dare i say 'wanted' deeper access to my body that it really became an issue. Or maybe i should say that as I really let myself open 'bodily' to the experience that trouble first started brewing. I am still a fair while off being able to really let myself experience this state. At the same time, I have to thank this state for finally opening the door to that hurt part of myself. I knew it was there, but years and years of work previously did not open the door. And it did.
  8. bliss vs Bliss

Good to hear such good news from you my brother Its called 'Spanda' in the KS texts. Although scholars sometimes seem to refer to spanda as vibration there is a more subtle {and blissful} nuance to the term. That is just, Fantastic. Congratulations. So good to hear. That is how you know there is a difference between your average small bliss junkie, and big or your 'Prime' Bliss experience. The bliss is coming from understanding and recognition, not just from energy fiddling, deeper concentration achievements or devotional results. Yes! crow meat, lol. Trust the state brother, focus on it, give it attention, but don't hang on to it, and it should deepen and deepen all by itself. Hopefully you don't crash and burn like I did

Hmm... Light and dark can not battle to the death. They both play their part, and are part of the structure of the world. A person who thinks they have defeated darkness, become one of darknesses greatest minions... They will commit horrors in the name of the light! :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o
  10. Grain free diet suggestions?

I want to second this! Taro or Cassava is freaking delicious! I would never have believed there was a vegetable that could replace potato and be better than it. I like to boil it, slice it open, cut out the white core, chop it into chunks and deep fry it. Then with some tamari, its better than hot chips... You can also eat it just boiled, but remember it requires half an hour with salt in the water before eating or frying, to neutralise its cyanide levels...
  11. Holy Guardian Angel

The HGA's Intelligence is not our Intelligence. Maybe it would be better to say that our intelligence is a little node of the HGA's overall intelligence, but regardless, as we have a different intelligence to it, we can enter into full communion with it. We can have Knowledge of it, and conversation with it. Doing so shows us our 'true will', or what we are quite literally here for. It clarifies a lot about our personal nature and existence. Also most cultures have some version of it, and it predates Plato. Talking to much about it is probably a waste of time. You can decide its just a concept and thus meaningless, and well, it is just that until you have the actual experience of it. Till that day feel free to speculate all you like
  12. Are you enlightened?

    No.
  13. ...

'Recognise' means seeing something you already know, and everyone 'knows' the natural state in some way. They see it and go "Ahh of course" how did i over look you for so long? Realising could be taken to mean gaining an insight into something that was completely beyond you up until now... Something that was previously unknown.
  14. The 'Christ Clicks'

Fools? Go read the rules for posting. As for the rest it is extremely reductionistic, and lacking any understanding of Hermetic teachings... so why are you posting and insulting people here if you 'know it all' already?
  15. Um this thread is about Meister Echart, not about your problems with the church. Can you please stop trolling every 'christian' thread here in the Hermetic section with all your "christians are stupid blah blah..." we have heard it all before and you are not even particularly good at saying it. This is the Hermetic and Occult subforum. The people here are not mainstream christians, do not support the inquisition, do not support pedophile priests, but wish to discuss the various branches that grew from Hermetic thought. Christian Mysticism is one of them.
  16. I feel fairly sure that Simon is Levenda. If i remember rightly one of Simons hand written letters matched Levendas writing, and Simon's rare audio lectures is certainly Levenda's voice... I also personally find it more interesting thinking about 'why' it works so well, more than whether it is historically accurate, but do not wish to sidetrack your thread...
  17. Immortality: Yin & Yang or Pure Yang ?!

Hmm. This is the normal scheme of things, from what little I understand is not what happens in Immortality. Other traditions talk like this as well. The Ba {Egyptian}, Soul {Western Alchemy}, Unihipili {Kahuna}, Daena {Persia}, Ti bon Ange {Voodoo}, and a whole list of others, all describe the aspect of us that separates off from its spirit counterpoint after death. In all the descriptions this is the part of us that houses memory, our more creative side, unconscious like processes, and most of our personality. In other words without it, we are not who we are. Death either quickly or slowly, rips the rational cognitive intelligence out of our personality leaving both sides 'less' and leaving 'us' no more... This is found in Mystery teaching all over the world, and it is considered a disaster, and the waste of a lifetime. Teachings are aimed at learning how to fuse these two together so that our poor Po/Ba/Soul doesn't get disconnected from the spirit, then wander for a while and slowly dissipate. Without the Po, you are not you.
  18. Immortality: Yin & Yang or Pure Yang ?!

I am always curious about this subject. The way i understand it {which may be BS} is that genuine Immortality, fuses the two immortal 'souls' together so that they don't separate after death, which is what usually happens. You see who we are is made up of the various 'souls' not just one of them. The hun, is like the 'spirit' in western alchemy. It is rational, and cognitive, but it does not have memory. This is the part that travels from life to life, without memory. Its more 'yang'... The Po is like the 'soul' in western alchemy, and is more like our word 'psyche' than some ways we may use the word 'soul'. It can become a wandering ghost after death, as it has memories but not much Intelligence. This is why some ghosts just do whatever the human did, over and over, and dont seem to grow much, or really change much. It is more Yin in nature... in 'some' Western alchemy at least, the goal is to fuse them together. Otherwise they separate and that is the end of us, as we are... True Immortality requires memory, and awareness/rationality, or Hun and Po... But who is to say what happens to the denser heavier emotions/memories and the Po/Soul that holds them during emotional purification, forgiveness and so on... The unconscious becomes conscious as we work on ourselves. This is an aspect of alchemy. Even 'automatic' 'unconscious' bodily processes slowly become conscious and controllable by the adept over time... Is this the Yin nature becoming more yang? I don't know, but I wish to find out
  19. Hmm some guy on youtube said the root of the word is intellect and genus, which is mind and creativity. That sounds like right and left brain activity together. This makes the various intelectards out there who are making bombs and other stupid shit very unintelligent, as all they have is intellect, and no sense of connection with nature or the whole ~ which two brain side functioning would give them... lol, its funny when I read it back but I will post it anyway..
  20. Hmm Krishnamurti really should not have been talking about Kundalini, considering his life long headaches that he blamed on Kundalini, which he never managed to integrate... that and the fact he was never trained within a Kundalini tradition either... On 'Philosophy of freedom' I am reading 'Intuitive thinking as a spiritual path' which is a new english translation, and I am finding it much better to read than the old one... I really do like Steiners works, as hard to read as he is sometimes...
  21. I like sitting on the ground, in Lotus, and focusing into my LDT. {navel gazing lol} Then I like to connect to the heavenly chi, and earth mother chi, and join them in the LDT. If I have not been practicing for a while, or accidentally ejaculated recently, there may be less or no LDT heat, so I have to rebuild its presence. It often starts as false LDT, which is warmth/heat at the front abdomen and at the back, at the LDT region. I seek over the next few days to really move the chi deeper into my torso, to the actual LDT position. To do this, I pinpoint the exact midpoint, and I use one pointed focus to try to 'drive' my energy into the LDT. Then I start using compression breathing with some breath retention, and just give it everything focus wise, especially during the compressed breath hold. I know when I have achieved real LDT when the LDT heat/warmth does not go away after practice, but remains day and night for weeks, even after I may have stopped that practice. Once I have real LDT, that is when, in Lotus, I start to connect to heaven and earth energy, and combine them. For me though there is no point doing that untill I really have my LDT activated. This is my favourite practice, but I don't do It often. The reason is I worry about damaging myself. I dont have a teacher here in Melbourne Australia, and am not aware of one that knows about this stuff. {if you are aware of one, please tell me} I do lots of energy work but the level of chi that this particular practice produces, is something altogether different. I can move my blood around with it, use it to release tendon tensions, heat myself in cold weather and so on... The reason it concerns me, is that it is so immediately physically tangible, and it is immediately obvious that I could easily damage myself if did the wrong thing with it... I know there are ways to use this for internal alchemy, which I sorely wish to learn, but I feel I need guidance. So till then, I spend more time on other stuff.
  22. Taoist Sites, Blogs and Links

Are there any sites {or subsections} more specifically devoted to Nei Gung?
  23. Its not all the time but Its often enough. I was wondering as demons are often portrayed all red and fiery, but I am yet to feel a heat blast from one. Infact so far Angelic beings have sometimes felt very warm, like being near a gentle sun.. I really wish I had had a room thermometer during the last one. Just to know whether it was an actual temp drop, or more psychosomatic in nature... Any theories?
  24. Thank you Donald, that is a very helpful reply
