my mind still generates lots of warmth out of Lotus, but at least for myself, I have not been able to warm my whole body out of Full Lotus. Yep, big fan of no 1 there. I can get a lot of heat that way, [lol if i have been good with my jing chi] and have successfully sat in an Icy storm in shorts and a T-shirt, radiating heat through my whole body comfortable as warm toast. I sit in Lotus, which feels like it draws up a lot of earth energy, I hold palms and fore arms up, level with my solar plexus to receive heavenly chi, then with each in breath I draw through the central chanel from earth and heaven to LDT. sometimes when I first start I hold it for a short period with light contraction of abdomen and pc muscles, then I breath back out to Heaven and Earth... Fun

My take would be that smoking the joint dropped you all 'in' together and then you experienced a 'contact' orgasm, as you remained connected through the thin walls. I would not try to experience this, as deliberately tuning in [uninvited] would be kind of creepy, but these experiences are natural as your energy sensitivity increases. Its a very popular subject these days in various spiritual circles. And yes, for me and the people who's circles I move in and out of, We do seem to be 'Awakening' more and more. I see a fairly consistent growth rate that equals a slow progression of Wisdom and happiness and a willingness to act more communally. I have various thoughts on the subject, probably none of which are verifiable... So here goes... 1. We are growing because we are doing the work. Nearly everyone I know meditates, does ritual, ecstatic dance, practices Shamanism, or chi gong, or goes to transpersonal therapy of some kind, or at least reads self help books... 2. Our Community's seem to be getting larger all the time, and what used to be several different circles of people for me, now has kind of blended together. I often wonder if as the world gets darker, it also gets lighter, sort of like a yin-yang thing. If that is the case how do we get out of this mess? I do not want to get happier only as someone else gets more F#%*! up 3. There is so much info available these days. Even the most rubbish television conveys multiple sets of world Views and peoples brains are being paradigm stretched. Its getting very post modern out there... [in terms of idea flexibility] and I am amazed how many youngsters seem aware of the various possible world views one can have and they seem to treat them as all valid, with various strengths and weaknesses. 4. We live in the west. we have the privileged of being able to start waking up. That does come at the expense of others, and some day its likely we will have to pay for that. 5. Considering the growing darkness factor makes me less Inclined to think Its the earth thats going through some cosmic wakeup phase, or some super duper astrological alignment, but just that circumstances are ripe for many people to start waking up. Ignorance is strong here in the west as well... 6. I often think people have always had spontaneous 'awakenings' like suddenly seeing Aura's but In the past belief systems were a lot stronger [or less challenged] and there was not nearly as much Info on these subjects available to support someone coming out... So we just did not hear about it. Thats all I can think of now! I guess really I am just glad people [some] are waking up. Seth.

Rationality? I would like to avoid being too black and white with this subject and suggest that maybe the rational can not be truly separated from the Irrational. After all the Shaman has a very clear set of goals on her journey, and I would not say she is particularly out of control at any stage even though it may loot that way from the out side. The Shamanistic World View, one could say, has Its own set of 'Rational' principles or its own unique form of Logic. For Instance to discover some illness originates in having displeased an Element, or from an Angry Ex makes perfect sense within the world view. Seth.

Spot on. Try breathing your energy down into the Earth, if you want to reduce it or cool down. Also see if you can breath back and forward between LDT and your heels/feet, or between Head and Feet if that feels safe. You may find when exhaling down to your feet, or even past them, that you can move your blood with the chi. Your feet will get really warm and slightly puffy and pink as you fill them with more blood [please do not try to keep blood there obviously] This will start opening up leg channels and help distribute energy through the lower Body... Military targets are generally very carefully selected. One major consideration is to minimize civilian (or non-combatants) casualities. This is an important consideration. And this is not true for the terrorists. In fact, their primary targets have always been against defenseless civilians; women and children. They are too cowardly to step up against anyone their equal. Yes/No. Terrorists have learnt well. It works for them to put their operation room in a school, so that when we missile them there will be a lot of civilian casualties. Keeps the anger up, keeps the new members flowing in. The way you read my first post? If you really feel like you have a clear grasp on anything, read your response to my first post, then read my actual post. They are almost entirely unrelated. You come to false conclusions before even getting the slightest grasp on what was said. In other words you a very very reactionary. If you like I will go through each section of your first reply to my first post to demonstrate your inability to think clearly but I feel that would be a bit cruel. Maybe just slow down and really try to understand what others are actually saying.
