  1. Internal Organ Meditations

Thanks everyone I probably should have guessed that Inner smile and 6 healing sounds would be mentioned, (and thanks for the time taken to give the advice) but its not quite what I am looking for. I have lots of experience with Inner smile and 6 sounds, but have heard more about practices where you [something like this any way...] draw energy into a specific organ, mix it or balance it somehow, then move it into the next, doing the same and so on... maybe following the elemental cycles... and continuously, A bit like the microcosmic orbit but in the organs, as in it keeps going round and round, building and balancing... And thanks Again
  2. Internal Organ Meditations

Thanks Devoid, I will check out that book, it looks really interesting. Thanks Sifu sufi, I am not sure for what, but thanks anyway And thanks Durkhrod. I am currently doing Bagua and Taiji with the Chinese Taiji boxing association. I havent seen any specific organ meditations in it yet. I am more interested in sitting meditations that involve moving chi from organ to organ, or mixing organ chi... Or Using the specific meridian lines in a way that palpably connects with the respective organ... Things I have only heard about. I think Taomeow may have talked about these a while ago, in an inner Alchemy context but I can not find the conversation... Any Info is good Thanks Everyone
  3. Meditating in a graveyard

Cemetery Meditation/Ritual is Awesome! - For where I live, Its one of the few places I can find at night that has almost no chance of being disturbed by [incarnate] humans. I tend to find the psychic atmosphere of a Cemetery very quite, more so than anywhere in a city. The dead rarely hang out there, and only the very occasional spirit who was perhaps highly attached to its body would rather hang out with its decomposing flesh, than spend time at the places it loved, with the people it Loves, or rather than just moving on... Just my experience and view of the situation of course. People who have Fear in their minds who meditate in such a place will experience all kinds of astral Fabrications none of which is real. (at least what I have been taught) Seriously, If you are grounded, and know how to tell the difference between independent and self generated astral phenomena why would you not want to meditate in a quite, spacious, beautiful, well tree'd and cared for environment. lol, if you are off your meds though, you might say anything...
  4. Warrior Body Buddh Mind

    Hey Its Looking Good
  5. Light Qi

Any one have any Views on the difference between 'Light Qi' and the rest of the energy universe? Also what do people think about cultivation methods and light Qi?
  6. Pushups as conditioning

I like the systema push ups. its the push up position on your knuckles and you walk around on them. Its their way to practice the strike connection angles and to really practice dropping your weight through the arms to the fist... Also inside Hammer fist and many snake fist strikes use the pectoral...
  7. Light Qi

In my experience these days, I make my self available to the Heavenly Chi and it responds with a Brilliant white beam that penetrates my crown and central channel and then suffuses the rest of my body. It is usually accompanied by a rush of bliss in my central channel and a burst of heat in my LDT and an expanding of my heart. If I have been a bit Lazy in my practice these extra effects do not happen till the light has 'chucked out' some of the build up in my channels... That may take a few minutes. Some times other more unusual stuff accompanies it. Any visual practices that work with the beam of energy up through the middle also trigger this, such as Falun Gongs 'penetrating the two cosmic extremes' or any of the 'lift chi up, pour chi down' kind of practices. For me personally it Feels that the Light is the source or underlying substance of all matter and chi. and 3Bob... "...a major aspect of the ultimate but not the ultimate." Awesome!
  8. Knowledge, Belief, Faith

lol, Thanks I tilted my own brain writing it... Seth
  9. Knowledge, Belief, Faith

Awesome! really well said. I am in Aus so no on the seminar just now, but enjoy it if you are going.. I would love to meet Don Miguel one day... Thanks _^_
  10. Knowledge, Belief, Faith

Thanks CarsonZi I first came across these Ideas In the works of Don Miguel Ruiz. I have read his 4 agreements 12 times and it took at least 8 reads to really start to get the underlying message in his books. I also read his others several Times each and can't recommend them enough. The 'Voice of Knowledge' is an amazing book to read as well, and His all time best IMO is his new one 'The Fifth Agreement'. The thing I love is it requires no meditation (I still love meditation) or beliefs and you just 'get it' slowly, just by having it pointed out over and over again, you just start to 'See' it obviously. To me it is real Wisdom training. Once you are aware of it, it can't be taken away as its not a set of beliefs. Blessings, Seth.
  11. Knowledge, Belief, Faith

For Me it is like this: We are full of knowledge. The knowledge we choose to believe we maintain with our Faith. Everything we think we know about ourselves and others and the world is the assortment of knowledge we have chosen to believe. Knowledge is not True. There is Zero truth in knowledge. That doesn't make knowledge bad, in fact knowledge is quite useful, such as giving us the ability to communicate through our knowledge of the Language/s we speak. The problems start when we can no longer see that the knowledge tools that we use are just shared agreed upon constructs, and not at all the Truth. That's when knowledge becomes beliefs... and we all have seen what that leads to. I like the observation that in the middle of the word beLIEve you find the word LIE. To me all beLIEfs are Inherently LIE's. The power of our Faith is strong and holds together all our precious world views and all our opinions about our Self and Others. The Truth is already there with out words and knowledge. When you realise all your beliefs are just Lies, and cease believing in any construct made with words, then you are beginning to see Truth. But that Truth can not be put into words. The minute you do, it is no longer Truth and just a construct. To me when I remove my Faith from all my beliefs and pull that house of cards down, My energy returns to me, and I see Truth which frees me into a vast openness. Also I gain Silent Knowledge which is Knowledge without words, Or Knowing. To me Knowing has Zero reliance on thoughts, words, concepts or beliefs and is always Right. I trust it 100%. I guess I could say that I am removing my faith from Lies and putting it in myself even though I will never know what I am. Learning this has made all the debates and arguments I used to have in my head and with others about Self/not Self seem irrelevant and useless, Pure Lie Battles. It all seems so simple now. Seth
  12. Korean Taoist Master

Cool, these guys are just round the corner from me, like a 60 sec walk... http://www.hkd.com.au/about_sundo.htm I have often looked in their window and wondered, but now I will go and have a proper look.
  13. The B.K. Frantzis Thread

Great SFJane, I love your posts. I can move my blood with my Chi now, which has developed from lots of gentle Dan Tien breathing. I can move it around and warm up my feet or Hands, Keep my feet from going numb in full lotus, and those Lift chi up - pour chi down type movements feel great, But also I am wondering 'What do I do with this?' I often think the long time health benefits must be amazing, of being able to move blood and expand all those little capillaries and the veins, considering how many people have strokes or get circulation problems... But I just do not know what to do next. Of course I will keep doing what I am doing as it is working and I love it, but are there ways of using or developing This? What next? Thanks Seth.
  14. Thoth question

Hi Witch, Thanks for sharing. I am not sure if this will be helpful as lots of good other stuff has been mentioned. But what you wrote does make me think of Transitioning across the Abyss between Tifaret and Keter. Hathor is (in some systems) placed at Tifaret and Thoth is placed at Keter. You probably wont find him there in books as much as he is often situated with Mercury in Hod. The Keter connection is when you start learning about True Mercury... Thoth in Hod is Thoth the messenger and scribe(as I understand it) But the secret In some traditions is that he is the greatest God. (Keter) In many descriptions of crossing the abyss (and Tradition says there will be many crossings) what we know of ourselves and our habitual ways of being crumble - A good thing. Funnily enough, tracking receipts, obsessive bargain hunting, fidgeting, all sound to me like un-redeemed Mercury. So it is possible that here is more archetypal shenanigans as you move between the two Natures of Thoth himself, from lesser to greater. Good stuff, Have Fun.
  15. Inspiring Books

Thanks Mikaelz, there are quite a few books there, I have all of Singh's works. Do you mean Vibration of Divine Consciousness? I do not have that, but I am a Nityananda fan Seth.
  16. Celibacy

Ahh, Peace Between the Sheets is the perfect partner to Tantric Orgasm for Women. I Love the exchanges...
  17. I Haven't been here for a while (in any serious way) and In the last two days have been appalled by the communication styles running through the various threads. All over the place people seem to be trying to Take a Teacher Role in some uninvited manner with someone else which is nothing more than a Power play. Some people seem almost desperate to jump up and down on someone else's perspective and make them wrong. So often this is done In a stance of absolute truth, which I think is the supreme authoritarian position. It gets funnier when the people doing it are claiming an anti authoritarian or anti ego position and then just Blatantly tell someone they are stupid, have no Idea, are just believing delusions or are just strengthening their Ego's. When One poster Asserts something as 'Truth' and then another poster doesn't agree in part or in full with the 'Truth' assertion, and then the original poster gets touchy, and begins to fall back on either Insults, poor me, Guilt games, subtle derision, Its because the Original poster has tried to take a Teacher position without Invite. If I offer some Insight of my own, out of compassion, as a friend and equal to some other person I am chatting with how can I be offended or get touchy if they don't share my opinion? that's fine. I am not their Teacher. Why would someone Try to Take the Teaching position? Well, the way I see it is this: It Feeds the Ego. When I can Dominate you with my opinion and with my beliefs I get a Top Dog Rush. Suddenly I am very Important, I am the centre of the Universe, and I am better than You. Also I am now safe so my survival circuits can Relax, as my cherished beliefs, which are closely tied to my Ego or Sense of self have shown themselves to be strong, and have conquered the terrain of the 'Not Self' (the world and Ideas out there) In other words Its Cave Man terrain in here. When My Ego's Ideas can Bludgeon your Ego's Ideas I get to take the women back to my cave tonight. I believe that conversing in this way Is bad for our state of being, our body Chemistry runs on stress as a result, On an energy level its an exchange of polluted transactional warring energy rather than the pristine clear energy of the universe, and the more people who learn to communicate without power games and hidden agendas the closer we will get to a peaceful reality here on earth. So how do we do it? Here is my take: Swap the I Know, this is how it is, I'm Right, Absolute perspective, As well as all the subtle - "I am much more experienced than you, there fore you 'Have' to believe, honour, or listen to what I say - perspective that goes Along with the Absolute truth stance. also there is the - My teacher is Absolutely True, therefore I Am as well by default... So we swap all this for: "The way I see it is... (personal not Absolute) "I really like the way Buddha said... It really fits my experience of... (personal not Authoritarian) "...I am sorry, you might be right but I just can't see it that way because the way I see things, it looks like..." Anyway Love to you all, and remember this is just my point of view, and If I want you to be my teacher I will ask you to to accept that privilege if you like the Idea Seth.
  18. Celibacy

I do not like to ejaculate more that once a month or less. I just feel better. I feel the vibration of my Jing essence or sperm energy supporting my body and making my mind more stable. This vastly improves my meditation as well. I am a fan of all the P.C. and Anal squeeze exercises for perineum strength, but think that Horse stance, jogging, any martial art that has all those low stance movements that build up amazing Leg and butt stamina are superior. For me the best help in learning to not get too excited came when I transitioned over from thrusting orientated Sex, to much stiller Deep penetration sex where the woman will do most of the movements as she is aroused too. I personally find this kind of sex (and so do my partners) much more satisfying, long lasting, heart opening, healing, chi cultivating and enjoyable. I personally think the book Tantric Orgasm for Woman, by Dianne Richardson, Is the most Important book on Sexual Tantra available. And so do all the Female Tantrikis that I know. Every Tantra teacher I know that read this book has put it straight on the top priority reading list for their students, and have said things like "I cant believe I never read that before" or "why isn't there more stuff like that out there?" Anyway Blessings on your Endeavour!
  19. Inspiring Books

Cool, Kunlun enthusiast, I Love All Don Miguels works, Voice of knowledge was like being repeatedly kicked in the head, but in a good way . I am reading It again at the moment. the Fifth agreement is my all time favourite. I read the Four agreements 12 times. For me it was probably round the 10th reading that i feel i really began to "get' the underlying message in a way that started to make a massive difference in Me and my world - Not just an intellectual understanding or just me struggling to actually keep the Four agreements them selves... Sherri Rosenthal's - A Complete Idiots guide to Toltec wisdom, is Fantastic as far as the Seth is concerned. Other than that, I love the Tantric Texts. A friend Shankarananda wrote a book on Kashmir Shavism called Consciousness is everything. That is one of my all time Favourites. Its very readable and engaging while retaining a scholarly feel. I really enjoyed - Living Presence, by Kabir Helminski. It sort of starts where be here now stops and gets a lot deeper (IMO) I personally think that - Half way up the mountain, should be crucial reading. I cant see my copy on the shelf, I must have lent it out, and I do not remember the Authors name. I think Ill stop now, I have 100's of books on all different traditions, and I'll go on all day if not careful. I Love books. Good luck Finding what suits you...
  20. Enforced Teacher Student Relationships.

A quick addition, these Ideas are not mine, I got them from Don Miguel Ruiz's books of which I am a massive fan. I just finished 'The Fifth Agreement' which blew me away...
  21. Enforced Teacher Student Relationships.

I Did say something very similar just a moment ago on the Happiness thread so sorry if its repetitive but to me it seems valid for Here as well. I said something like: In my experience Happiness comes from stopping believing in Lies. I maintain my Belief systems with my Faith. As soon as I start believing something, I invest my Faith in the system which then maintains the beliefs with the power of my Faith. My Daily awareness practice these days is removing my Faith (energy) from every belief I can find, so that I can be free to just be with things exactly as they are. Personally this is the best and most effective practice I have ever done. I am astounded at the results I am getting. When I can let go of my minds grip on reality and the need to make it conform to my perspective, I find an amazing sense of spacious open perfection. On a personal note, I have always Loved and been amazed by the Universe. I Loved looking at plants for hours or staring at sunsets, or doing Chi practices that would make me feel the Amazing Purity of the Universal/Natural energy. The thing is, there was always me and It. and I think I always felt that the 'Me' part of the equation was not up to scratch somehow. This was due to my beliefs about myself. Now as a result of my practice when I sit out side, its not really me and it any more. Its like everything is just it as it is, all amazing and perfect as it appears. I am definitely not saying I have mastered some Non Dual space or anything. It comes and goes but is now much easier to access even when in conflict. (which I still have ) Its just in that space, Ideas of Self/Not Self, Emptiness/Substance seem pointless and irrelevant and Zero to do with reality. So for me dropping beliefs is of primary Importance.
  22. "Real" Happiness

For Me Happiness comes from not Believing in Lies. I Find it interesting that if you look at the word BeLIEfs you find the word LIE sitting at its centre. someone pages back said something about Faith. To me it looks like Faith is what powers our Belief system. As soon as I start to believe a perspective I put my Faith in it and then I maintain it with my Faith. Then all the problems start. As soon as I stop believing in all the Lies and draw my Faith back to me, or my energy... then suddenly the world gets really good and everything has a sense of perfection and vastness or openness... It seems I just can't argue with reality how it is. That is the only truth I feel I Know.
  23. Enforced Teacher Student Relationships.

The thing I like about the word BeLIEfs is the word LIE lying right there in its core
