  1. Intuition and Logic.

Please Give me some examples of how Intuition can be conditioned... I Have a belief that Intuition when you know well enough which 'voice' (please understand I don't mean 'Voice' literally) is never wrong. It seems to me that Logic can be argued about forever and can constantly be mistaken. The Greeks came up with Many problems Logic presents, (like the Empedicles i think) Showing the Floored Nature of Logic as a tool for understanding. In my own experience I trust Intuition absolutely, and It has never let me down once... Would you count actively using Intuition as a means to explore the world as merely subconscious movements? -Say, Can you feel your Life? your Aliveness, Is It limited to you, what qualities does it have, can you feel it in anything else? Can you 'see' it with your Intuition? How finely tuned to these qualities can you get? This is how many schools start without requiring belief in anything. One learns to Intuit directly. I have helped a couple of scientific materialists, who were open enough to allow me to guide them through an inquiry process like this, have the Unitive Experience, strong feelings of Oneness with all life, experience of Energy and Light and rivers of Loving Consciousness...
  2. Clearing up Buddhism by the thuscomeone

Wait a minute... Are you not the same Vajrahridaya who has attained Tao and gone beyond it, who is Capable of Enlightening Lao Tzu about his misunderstanding's of reality...?
  3. Intuition and Logic.

Thank you, I like your reply, and I totally agree that we need both Intuition and Logic, and that the best traditions will use them both, but what do you think about the Idea that Intuition and Logic are to different lens's, which see the world in two different ways? Buddha sat down and attempted to see his Inner nature as clearly and logically as possible without recourse to spiritual Ideas, purely with his rational mind. He was out to discover the Truth for himself without anyone else's Ideas in the way. Very Noble This is very Different to the Mystics who Actively use their Intuition to Intuit the Presence of Life/Light/Consciousness as a whole and seek to enter Deeper and Deeper into it. Look at all the Discouraging against living in your head in (some of the) the Mystical schools. They would say experience first and only study to confirm what you are realising... Much poetry of Rumi comes to mind.

  5. women must learn to redirect their orgams too

Shit, Serene Blue I am really sorry to hear about your situation with your BF. Stuff like that makes me feel really sad. A Man/Boy like that cannot nurture your Heart open, nor can connect to or nourish you in any way. All he can do is do further damage to you for your next relationships as Sex you are not really Into, that is not heart connected will only build deeper defensive walls to intimacy within you. Please listen to the really good advice from Vajrasattva, sinno, Rain and Biff and Kick that useless First circuit pleasure oinker out On his useless ass. Don't Suffer for his Shit, just cause he has ruined himself with the Porn sex Imprint. You are Not a porn star fantasy, you are a woman with Feelings, who is trying to cultivate, A rare and precious Gem. Find someone you can blossom with. Seth.
  6. Dragon Gate Melbourne?

Thanks everyone. I get that there would be many different streams of the Dragon gate school but I would not know How different? I would like to get to Wang Liping's teachings one day, so I am wondering would I learn anything that would be remotely similar or that would be a good foundation for his training at some where like this? Thanks again too r.w.smith
  7. Shakti

Thanks! Thats really nice, Great Feelings... Blessings, Seth.
  8. NOT QUITE JOHN CHANG BUT...

I had a funny experience with a Guy who could read aura's. there were lots of people around and he was bragging alot that he could read everyone's aura around him (and he could) in quite an egotistical manner. I think he thought that made him enlightened (nothing against aura reading by the way, just him) or vastly superior to everyone else, so I just decided in my gut that there was no way that he was allowed to see or feel or pick up anything about me. Then I asked him to see my aura. He tried and got really confused and began pacing around me looking for a better angle or something. I am not sure if that could be done with a photo... If you can hold a picture and sit and meditate on someone you would have to get the feel of them eventually... maybe?
  9. What Exactly Is A Kundalini Experience?

Thats great prince. I hope you find congregations that will be supportive of your experiences and further education. Here is a great Christian Master at work- http://www.thomhartmann.com/1997/01/01/the...master-stanley/ blessings in your chosen path Yes!
  10. What Exactly Is A Kundalini Experience?

I dont mean to be disrespectfull Scotty, but what are you talking about? If Kundalini represents a change in awareness, wouldnt you say that being aware of a snake moving about inside you is a change in awareness? Its not that I would automaticly affirm the experience as Kundalini, as I do think this happens way to quickly with people who are eager to think that they are Evolving. It is more that After 15 years of Kundalini experience, including running a Kundalini support group for two years for Kundalini freak outs, I feel very uncomfortable just blanket stating that something is or is not Kundalini without trying for further Information. Peace Leon. I definatly may be. wait and see...
  11. Glowing Man Of Japan

  12. Death

My beloved Father passed away 2 days ago (Sat 10, 10, 09). I held his hand and stroked his head while he died, and waited with his Body till it was cold. I helped wash him down and gave him his last shave. It feels like an important process to really be there, just letting the feelings come, as well as being there for him as he left. It really felt like a slow process, the way his spirit disconected from his body and being there, holding space for him, and giving Him stable loving energy to him during this while the nurse was busy pulling out all the various tubes and wires was Very Important. It has really helped with the grieving process as the feelings now are just of personal loss. Acceptance of death came easily after going through this with him and I actually feel Happy for him. I guess the reason I am writing this is for any future Bums who have a Close family member Die, to really find a way to Be there, both for them and for Yourself. Blessed be my Beautiful Father, so selfless in life and an Inspiration to everyone who knew him. Seth.
  13. 2012 is not the end of the world

Right On, I allready have money riding on the -no majour spiritual event felt by everyone- thing with several eager friends. I look forward to 2013 to be past all this... 15. Zhan Zhuang Standing information

This is a great Thread. Thanks everyone. Pietro and anyone else, could you say more about the Hsin or Heart mind? I am a bit obsessed with this Idea at the moment. I have been sort of collecting references to it in the various traditions over the last few years. I cant really quote them as I am not home for a bit, but it seems like Every tradition talk's about awakening to the Hearts Intelligence, The heart being the centre of the mind, The subtle heart being the greatest Organ of perception... Following these various instructions has been what has given me most of my abilities... I always want to learn more Would you mind telling us about Meeting each other from the Heart Mind? And what do the Buddhists call the Heart Mind? Seth!
  16. What do tao bums do for a living?

  17. Why do you believe in qi?

I believe in it cause I experience it everywhere. It doesn't matter to me whether i believe in it or not cause its always there. I did try not believing in it many years ago to see if it would go away. It just started to seem ridiculous. I dont think there is a moment when i cant feel it. I think the same would go for Many people here. I am more interested in what can be done with it both within and externally.
  18. thin auras, and how to improve them?

My favourite practice Is to be in Reciprocal relationship with everything. That means whatever I am engaged with, I treat as a living being worthy of Love and attention and I give this positive stream of warm regard and gratitude constantly. This means that (and espescially the Natural world and the Luminous Living Presence behind everything) As I give, the stream is returned... and thus a cycle of Powerfull healthy energy is constantly Flowing through me and flushing and cleansing me. Also the spirits like this and become quite helpfull. I just love this practice. The cleaner the spot (or at some sacred place) the better it is. But this doesnt mean that unclean areas will give you bad energy. when you give positive (in this way) thats all that can return. If anything you will notice that the whole energy of the place will start to lighten and change. Its important not to try and draw energy back or to do it with a sence of expectation or you may get a dose of 'bad' energy. Just focus on giving... Dont even worry if you can feel the return at first.. But it is recomended to do this with a Tree or mountain or some powerfull Natural force Early on just to see what you experience... Good Luck
  19. thin auras, and how to improve them?

That is an AWESOME exersize! lol but watch your aura doesn't set fire to the couch! What people said. Smile, time in nature, cultivate the virtuous energy's (morality) exersize, Ima and chikung, Also some kind of sweeping energy cleansing technique, I think someone posted a pranic healing vid with really nice images of this on it back a bit. People are so gunked up in general. Mantra! think of God, or Spirit, or Deity with every breath.
  20. Death

Aww you Bum's are great. Yesterday in Meditation I spent some time praying and sending him good energy when He popped 'up' to say hi... Wow, He felt so excited and Happier than I ever felt anyone. It was quite a suprise. I guess I had been feeling slightly worried that I hadn't felt him at all since He left, despite knowing that he had a good death. Who knows what his next step will be but he felt so excited about it. I cried for about an hour afterwards but it was mixed with laughter and happyness as well. The Family are all just being together, eating, celebrating him in different ways, grieving and laughing. It really brings Familys closer together. Thanks again everyone
  21. Michael Bertiaux and Voudon

Friends Have. He is a seriously messed up dude. His book is good if you want to be a servent to bunch of spirits but thats all it is useful for... You are warned... Lol, that sounded spooky didnt it! Have fun.
  22. Death

Thanks Kate. Fizix, your Honesty is beautiful, thanks too. All I can say is Be there for Her in the best way you can and dont judge yourself too harshly for being human. We can only do what we can do. When the experience comes, don't hide from it- let yourself experience everything you feel and also spend time with her to help her on her way to the best place she can go. Just be attentive to the process and help her be stable and not shaken as she leaves. Blessings my friend. Thanks Drew, I felt that being there with his body and spirit really helped the direction that he left from, and I really agree about the pollution thing. If far more people remained attentive to people passing, rather than allowing doctors and nurses to just shuffle them out during or straight after the last breath, there would be far less 'Ghost pollution'. Thanks again.
  23. Death

His head was warm last, and top of head last of all. He went out from the crown to a stable peacefull place. The Family was all there praying his favourite prayers to him, so he died thinking of God. Staying there helping him basicly was a Phowa.
  24. RE: The Buddha Bums

I have Zero interest in belief, thus I feel that I can not be clinging to the Idea of a Self. I don't need the universe to be a certain way, and feel completely emotionally un-invested in wanting the world to be a certain way, as all I am interested in is discovering the Truth. Over and over again I bump up against the fact (for me) that my continued experience of the Universe is as an Intelligent and Interactive Being. That's why I like some of the traditions that relate with the universe in this way. I Find it interesting to hear what other explorers have found for them selves but in no way do I give them any authority over my own perception. I am willing completely to be challenged to question, Ask me to look at anything I take for granted or claim to experience in a way I haven't or in some new light, and I will straight away. But you seem unwilling to engage in actual conversation as you go straight to a fanatics stance and just start cramming your dogma. Or you use the snide escape saying "Get some more transmission from good teachers" which is basically saying be a Buddhist. What kind of conversation/argument is that? And bye the way I have had transmission from numbers of Buddhist teachers, Namkhai Norbu included and am doing the SMS base course at the moment with his organization. I Love Buddhism but feel it is only one lens to view the universe through. You Can apply Emptiness and Dependent Origination to Everything but that is only using one Lens. Its like the Quantum particle/wave debate. Through one set of equipment and with one set of observation parameters quantum substance 'Is' a particle. But with another set of gear and some different guide lines, the Stuff 'Is' a wave. Buddhism is only one Lens and will only show you things that that perception/ system of thought can show. But other Lenses will show the same thing in very different ways making it appear very different. Do you have the Guts to look at some of the alternate ways the nature of the universe can be experienced or will you keep quoting flakes like Thussness and claiming that you somehow have the complete comprehensive knowledge of all traditions which you have already out grown? Are you even close to approximating a Christ or any of the great teachers from any number of non Buddhist traditions? I don't think so. Be Honest. I know you think you transcended the Tao, but If Lao Tzu was sitting here and you claimed that, he would laugh in your ignorant face. what wise words would you babble then? You are clinging to the Idea of Emptiness as you are afraid to simply open up and really explore and experience the nature of the universe for your self, with out the crutch of other peoples Ideas. Keep eating the Menu my friend and one day maybe you will have the guts to throw it aside and Eat a meal. What ever, Live in blinkers if you want to... "I will Only EVER use a particle accelerator to view the universe, everything else makes life a little too confusing and messy for me, I Need it all neat and Ordered, I Need to feel Really Really secure in my belief's so I can make this scary world conform to Something that I can understand. It feels so Good knowing absolute truth! Now I can't even be challenged, Hooray! I am Safe! Hooray for me! I transcended everybody else!!! Yay! I know more that all of you!!! It feels so good! Hang on, what stinks? Oh my God? what is this? oh my god, its Shit! I am surrounded by Shit! Oh it stinks! It's a wall of My own Shit!!!! ...WOW I am really safe behind this shit! Awesome, no one will come near me, Oohh I better add some more, pflflflfrrrp! Ahh... there I go, ill just pile that up here...
