Spring Forest Qigong Sends out Unique Holiday Greeting
Blind Owl replied to Jedi777's topic in General Discussion
many thanks for this Jedi777 I will definately give it a listen -
Reminds me of this story told by Bhagavan Jivananda in his introduction to Israel Regardie's 'Lazymans Guide to Relaxation'. (On a side note, the day after we did Water in KAP it started to pour down and did so for near a month. The coincidence made me laugh. Although the folk here were pretty vexed I enjoyed it)

Badly phrased maybe but not I think stupid. I was refering to people who repeatedly seek out doctors when the solution has been already been given to them. eg: I know someone who constantly complains about lower back pain, and pays to have it streched out of her every two weeks. Her chiropractor has given her stretches, I have recomended stretches. She doesnt do them, even though it would take her about 10 min total. I am not so dumb as to equate ignorance with laziness, but I see how you may have arrived at that conclusion. And so what seemed like an unprovoked and insensitive attack on my wife seemed perfectly reasonable to you, such is the joy of internet communication.

For what it is worth, most Rosicrucians I have met are not Masons, none have any interest in the Illuminati, so I think we have strayed a little. the six laws of the Rosicrucians as set down in the Fama Fraternitatis are: The symbol of the rose on the cross is not unlike that of the lotus.

I am curious to know why you think that it is a bit off. Also do you include all healing professions: massage therapists, psychologists, etc.

Long Distance KUNDALINI KAP Training through Skype

I am not very far into the practice, so there is much I cannot say but, one of the biggest joys of the KAP system for me is how it is built to integrate INTO everyday life. Obviously the idea is always to integrate all practices into the day to day living, but with some systems that is more difficult or requires much more conscious effort. A much as anything the KAP system seems a powerful way of integrating JOY into every moment, and for that I am very grateful -
Happy Diwali! May the divine radiance bring ever more clarity to us all

Yes, outlandish sideburns are a must! (I always carry a spare set in case I singe one while puffing on my pipe.) Re: True and Invisible Order: The book grew from the 60 pages in the 1927 edition to over 300 by the time of Case's death. (the other editions are floating about in torrents and emule - if youre in to that kind of thing) Paul Foster Case was responsible for writing the BOTA (Builders Of The Adytum ) correspondence course and while the book can be quite heavy going as it focuses a lot on gematria, it will give you a good idea of the Rosicrucian system of initiation and its intended outcome (Initiation in the sense of opening and integrating levels of consciousness as opposed to the mechanics of ceremony etc which is also very important in many Rosicrucian schools). Enjoy

AMORC used to present the basic skills of Occult study but it has since been changed and watered down. A good book tle dense) is the 'True and Invisible Rosicrucian Order' by Paul Foster Case. He continually updated it during his life, but the original version is out of copyright and available in pdf format. The interesting thing about the original copy is that it contains a series of meditations for each of the grades which were removed from later copies.

Hi sykkelpump, I am curious to know if you have previous with Vajrasattva or the tradition he teaches? Your opinions seem to be fueled by something very strong and I would be interested in hearing about this pain, instead of just the name calling. It is not my intention to defend anybody who can easily defend themyself but just for the sake of the record I feel I should just say that as someone who has paid money to Vajrasattva, I feel anything but short-changed. If he is in it to make money then he is doing it all wrong. Apart from the classes themselves he invests a lot of time in the students, being available to answer questions 7 days a week is just one of them. I get the strong impression that he is not teaching to show what he knows but teaching because he really WANTS us to know what he knows, experientally. Am I objective I could not honestly tell you, but I am typing this because I would like you to hear it. I hope you do not percieve my intentions as anything other than good natured Namaste Blind Owl

Blind Owl replied to Vajrasattva's topic in General Discussion
Hi Santiago, You helped me a while back when I was having some problems (all smooth at the moment - thanks) I am very interested in your course but I have a few questions: 1: Is there a waiting list for the next cycle of level 1 instruction (European time), or is just a matter of being in the right place at the right time 2: The classes are by Skype, is it necessary to have a webcam at this end too? 3: Are there any minimum requirements, in other words is it suitable for beginners? Until I started having the energy problems I had no training or interest in the martial arts. Since July I have been practicing Spring Forest Qigong from the home study course, obviously this is very little in comparison to most here. Would that be a problem? 4: Payment options, I have a question about this but I will pm you -
