  1. Well you have the 4 intensity levels - No intensity, Low intensity, Medium and High... High takes about 30 minutes for everything - warmup to cooldown... No intensity takes about 10 minutes (Intuflow-like joint mobility drills). So yeah between 10 and 30 minutes a day. It's pretty much a stand-alone system, so you wouldn't be doing any other workouts on the no and low intensity days... you could on the other days as long as the diet matches with the training. Some of the movements are the same as 'be breathed' and generally all the exercises are well-balanced and seem geared for combat-type conditions. It also uses Tabata style interval timings... You could easily build up your own program using the exercises you're fond of but in the 4x7 protocol and using the tabata intervals. I'd say it's not worth it if you're looking for some movements to plug into an existing routine (flowfit might be better for that). The major selling point of tacfit is that it's a complete, well-balanced, pre-planned bodyweight program.
  2. I'd be even more wary of a dead teacher claiming the same!!
  3. yeah I got it too. Familiar Rmax bodyweight exercises - some compensatory yoga movements and joint-opening type drills. What sets this program apart from his others is the cyclical progression plan built in. It uses his 4x7 protocol - 4 days of varying intensity exercises - repeated 7 times - giving you a 28 day cycle (he claims it follows a Fibonacci sequence)... there are 3 cycles (each with different exercises) and 3 levels of difficulty for each cycle. So you could easily spend at least 9 months to go through the entire product... although I suspect it would take a while to build up to the hardest difficulty - so 12 months is more likely (at least for me). I have FlowFit - which is great - but Tacfit seems to have everything built right in and optimally planned out for you.

you're quite right - I certainly wouldn't pay $1000 for just a piece of bent pipe... but what they actually sell on that site is a piece of bent pipe with spiral architecture inside - would be almost impossible to make yourself without spending at least $1000 on tools and equipment... Their most popular pipe - is a straight section with the spiral architecture inside - I suspect with some effort one could recreate that him/herself. But at $500 (Canadian $) it's not too unreasonable - although still denying you the fun of making your own. That egg does look pretty cool doesn't it. I remember reading somewhere that having the narrower end of the egg shape pointing down is the yin orientation and pointing up is the yang orientation... Traditionally old wine vessels had the narrower end facing up (and the rounder end facing down) giving it a more yang spin...

I had to laugh when I read this. The past two days I've been thoroughly (re)-researching into this very subject. Creating a vortex seems to be the very best thing to do for your water. To that end I had experimented with the thing Joe had a pic of above. Works well. The water quality is visibly different (the translucency and movement when sloshed about). The taste and texture is different. And a small test on alfa-alfa sprouts showed promising results. When the water is flowing in a double vortex, it seems to become rather 'imprintable' - any energy you introduce whilst it's spiralling seems to be absorbed easily and the charge keeps for much longer than energising still water. To that end these guys make a section of pipe that can simply be plumbed into your water supply - and the internal components of the pipe create the right sort of vortex for all the water in your home. The testimonials page gives all kinds of varied reports... everything from improving crop yields to the quality of ice in a commercial ice-rink and all kinds of reports of improvements in health. Ian was also a fan of this range of water energisers. Their authenticity was also verified by a high-level teacher - with the caveat that these type of things can become polluted and lose their charge. The ideal setup imo would include one of those vortex pipes, with a vial of highly charged water attached (so the water passing through the pipe acquires and is imprinted with the quality and intent in the vial). Or alternatively attached with one of those Vortex Energisers (I like the shape!) And I would have a decent carbon-based filter for drinking water (Pozzani make good, affordable filters in the UK).

  7. masturbation and attractiveness

For a guy who's admitted to not having any relationships - with men or women you seem to know a lot about both.
  8. Rekindling

yeah - that's how I experience it too. Like funnel of awareness - thoughts are the narrow end and the subtlest of feelings at the wide end... thoughts are just a very narrowed down, simplified reflection of a much grander 'feeling'. Focusing your awareness is a great practice of Will... it's also beneficial to stay at a deep level of awareness and let it broaden and de-focus - a muscle needs to relax as well as contract. Ritualised letting go!! I love that phrase. We'll be doing a lot of that very soon (Creation - take heed )
  9. involuntary celibacy and isolation

Thank you Jack - I hope he does too. The post is directed at me as much as it is directed at Non or anyone else who might resonate with it.
  10. involuntary celibacy and isolation

Non - would it seem weird to you if I said that to me, you are confident? - in fact you're so confident you're actually rather arrogant. I know you don't see it that way, and probably many of the concerned Bums don't see it that way either, but I do. You have unshakable confidence in yourself as a hopeless case... arrogance involves ignoring everyone and their opinions and sticking to yours. Confidence involves being certain. Being certain and ignoring everyone is what you do here... by denying our attempts to help, you're bolstering your own self image as someone special - someone so unique that no one even understands you, let alone has enough insight to help... What you're doing here is nothing more than re-asserting that you are who you 'are' - and you're not going to change and the world is a shithole coz it won't change to how you want it to be. From deep inside, though, there is an honest, vulnerable part of you that's hoping and wishing that your ego lets go for just a fraction of a second so that you can feel real intimacy - not contrived, controlled intimacy that's been forced through the tiny mold that your ego has built for you. The way to progress is to drop this idea that you're unique and special and like no other... because once you do, reality will come flooding in, energising your spirit and you'll discover your true uniqueness that you've not even began to experience yet - a part of you that is far greater and more magnificent than you can imagine. Let go of your certainty, your arrogance - put your opinions, beliefs and ideas to one side then smile at a stranger - not because you want something from them, not because it will prove something about you, not expecting them to even notice - but smile coz you feel like smiling. Get this CD (Jack Elias is great - he's even written an article for us TBs) and listen to it daily for at least a month - it will help release the stuckness around being with people.

Winpro also gives very illuminating insights into the practice... If you catch his posts before they're gone ofcourse!! Winpro can actually see what's happening in the alchemical transformation - this a gift that's hard to understand for most. Dude - your insights are always appreciated by me. actually out of the many hundreds of people who experienced kunlun only a handful found it 'bad'. Most notably our dear Yoda who was looking for an out-of-this-world experience but when he got it and it spilled over into his family life he quite understandably got rather conscerned. I've not looked for such experiences, if they happen I tend to let them go. Just like when you were a kid - having amazing experiences and letting them go all at the same time. Apart from the spontaneous aspect we strengthen the body through the 5 elements standing, and have practices that open us up to recieve a higher current. The transmission is like having a lightning rod installed on top of our heads - it attracts spiritual lightning to course through us. We don't need to use Max's energy once we've had the transmission. It's like being given a phone number - once we have the number, we can dial in and receive as much energy as we can handle (how much we can handle depends on our ability to let go during the spontaneous practice). Letting go is the simplest thing in the world, but we make it rather difficult for ourselves.

  14. Kunlun follow up poll

Mr -O- had some amazing insights about the practice, the 'stages' of development, what can and can't be expected, etc. Unfortunately he felt it necessary to remove his posts. I for one would really like to hear much more from him.
  15. Good chemistry

tension. keep building your (and her) tolerance for tension and you can take it further.
  16. So many

Hey, Not that near you, but Barry is a great teacher: http://www.healingtaobritain.com/ He's been known to teach for free if you help out with labour and stuff. Either way, he's very nice and you'll enjoy having a chat with him. Finding a teacher is the best way to navigate all this stuff... building relationships with people that strive for the things you strive for will immerse you in a far more useful way than constantly reading opinion and stuff on the net or in books. This is a living art, so connect with living artists. Best of luck mate.
  17. women must learn to redirect their orgams too

I agree with your teacher's perspective.
  18. Open the heart

    I agree
  19. Not to be the 100th guy.

Non - your ego sees the idea of you being so 'different' as something special... it's something that makes you extraordinary! So doing anything that makes you less 'different' feels like death to the ego. You'll have all manner of resistance come up fighting against that. In my opinion you should go the other way - be more different!! Stop trying to 'get' girls, stop trying to impress them, attract them, change yourself to make you more suitable... That is just beyond ordinary... In fact forget about women. Find something you can do and find beautiful. Can be art, poetry, music, dance - anything - anything you would find beautiful and anything you can do in a way that's different to others... you have a huge amount of creativity trapped inside you - let it out. Focus on that - focus on creating beauty in the world, and everything else will come to you - especially women... and especially if you're 'different'... Your confidence (not a show of arrogance, but a rootedness in something you believe - something you can do and do well) will grow in leaps and bounds if you focus on creating beauty in the world... Oysters make pearls out of the bit of sand stuck inside that wounds them. Creativity needs to be shared - music, art, dance, poetry needs to be shared - so share it.
  20. Heart Rhythm meditation?

Cool. Something interesting to look out for. Did you particularly enjoy the McD's?? I'll see how diet affects HRV too. It's great to have such direct feedback and be able to compare notes like this. Yup I get exactly that too. There's a heartbeat right at that second, that's what seems to set it off. Ok - have you ever done the 'sipping breath' that Chia teaches for the upwards draw? Kind of like that, but not So with sipping you inhale 1/9th of lung capacity, lock your throat, then inhale another 1/9th and so on until you're full. The way I do it is similar - but I inhale 1/4th capacity of the lower belly -> 'lock' -> and then another 1/4 -> lock -> and another etc. until full, then when breathing out it's the same breathe out 1/4th, lock and then breathe out another 1/4th etc. Now at first I start 'locking' - but it's very gentle and very quick - not really a lock, more of a 'pause'... and as I carry on breathing the pauses become smaller and smaller until I'm doing the same breath but in a smooth, continuous flow. This 4:4 rhythm actually takes about the same time as a 6:6 on the StressEraser... it's just that the 4 'locks' seem to be the magic number - I've tried 1/3rd and 1/5th capacity breaths, but they lower the HRV score. Cool - I'll try that - I tend to have a natural pause at the end of the out breath. Oh - also worth trying letting out an audible sigh on the out breath
  21. Heart Rhythm meditation?

Hangovers - the spiritual tonic... interesting isn't it. I'd like to know why... Qualitatively I feel my mind 'foggy' which makes it harder to focus, and makes it easier to have a diffuse, ungrasping awareness... Interestingly, during the hangover, when I was doing my HRV breathing using the little device that comes with the Wild Divine game - my HRV was perfect for the whole 60 minutes I did it for, but the skin conductance (or whatever it's called) was twice as high as usual - and that's an indicator of stress... I also discovered that there's a certain 4:4 rhythm that helps the HRV score... you breathe in counting to 4, but you do the in breath in 4 segments - like there are four distinct levels of depth to the breath, and on each count you go one level deeper... and over time you smooth it out so the steps flow from one to the other... (and the same on the out breath) - this, very quickly improves the HRV synchrony for me. Anyone else been playing around with HRV devices? (StressEraser, Wild Divine etc) - any tips/discoveries/curiosities?
