  1. "Exotic" Supplement Experience

I bought mine off ebay too - from a detox guy in spain - I think he capsules it himself - apparently he buys it direct from nepal or somewhere where it's processed naturally with raw milk - maybe you got it from the same dude? Yeah I keep getting boners all over the place - really annoying actually - I thought excersise would improve matters, but it's actually made things worse. I've been reading about fulvic acid - which is the main constituent of Shilajit - it allows cells to absorb nutrients far more efficiently (it also allows cells to release toxins and uneeded nutrients)... So it's quite possible that taking this stuff along with smoothies and other nutrients makes em more effective...
  2. That's some fantastic advice! Seriously - we'd have way more enlightened beings on earth if we all did this. There are no positive or negative experiences - only the mind makes them so... every experience is both good and bad - if we try and hang on to one and dismiss the other we fall into the mind's game of illusion - reality is always balanced, the mind always tries to make it more good or more bad and by doing that it distorts reality into illusion...
  3. Vegetable gardening

Dont know much about gardening, but definately stick some orgonite in there! The plants at my flat started growing like crazy when I got my first little orgonite piece - I felt like I was in little shop of horrors or something. I also like to eat sprouts, so conducted a little personal test - got alfa alfa seeds sprouting in a room with orgonite next to it and one in the other room with no orgonite (the light was equal for both and I tried to treat them in the same way, also the seeds came from the same packet) The results were quite obvious - nearly all the seeds in the orgonite batch sprouted where-as the control batch had many unsprouted seeds. Also the sprouts in the orgonite batch were longer and the little leaves were bigger and greener than the control batch.
  4. "Exotic" Supplement Experience

So I've been taking this stuff for a week, and yes - wow indeed! Besides the libido and gentle energy, my kidneys have been feeling happy and my mood has improved considerably - I didn't expect anything like this. I also like the artistic/shamanistic idea of it - it's like the jing/essence of the earth... it's the forests of millions of years ago cultivated by the mountains, pressurised, purified, heated, cooled (natural alchemy!?) and in the summer the mountain 'bleeds' this stuff out for us to use. http://www.crucible.org/shilajit.htm
  5. In my eyes it actually makes Geller more credible, knowing that he fails to do his thing every now and then - if he could do it everytime, it would be far more suspect in my eyes... whether it's true or not, Geller's not exactly a good model of a spiritual person - if it is true then he was born with or developed by accident this skill, which in no way indicates his spiritual progress... He doesn't seem like the brightest bulb, and epitomises (for me) the wishy washy new age movement - plus he reminds me of my ex girlfriend's mom ... but that still doesn't mean he's faking.
  6. The funniest person on TV period

how about the Mohamed double episode?!
  7. EFT

one to one session over the phone! pm me I'll give you more details.
  8. EFT

Yes - if you go deeper and deeper you'll find more and more stuff to tap for - after a good (several hours) session you can feel very calm and complete (I used to do quite a lot of EFT!) - it's like all the pendulums have been slowed down, all the little tensions pulling you in different directions stop and you feel at ease... but in my experience (after over a year of heavy-duty tapping) the pendulums always start swinging again - and yes each time it becomes easier to reset them, and becoming concious of these tensions is a huge benefit... You almost have to integrate your polarities - that's why they feel separate, that's why they cause joy/sadness because they're vying for your attention to be integrated - to make the act of love that completes them... so whether this happens through a process of getting to know your polarities over time, tapping for them and getting more concious of them, and they can piggy back on your energy cultivation practice to get resolved over the years or you go in with the specific intent of resolving/integrating them directly which takes very little time (perhaps it's too quick for many) - they have to complete themselves or they wont rest. ofcourse after my Deep Peat experience I still have polarities, problems, fears and what not, but as Karen says the legs have been taken from under the table, and the problems have no structure supporting them, so it's quick and easy to clear them out... permenantly it's just that there are soooo many of them. (I actually love discovering 'problems' - it's like getting the opportunity to clear out another blockage, or finding out which direction you should be heading) oh and here's a good link for information on Peat: http://www.achieve-your-potential.com/peat-articles.html
  9. EFT

I'm not sure that's true - most beliefs are taken on and changed instanteniously - you're a kid walking arround, a dog barks at you angrily = new belief - dogs are scary etc. If beliefs changed slowly, I think it would be a terrible survival mechanism (how many times would a sabre tooth have to bite before you stop trying to pet the beast!? ) I do see what you mean on an over-all identity/ego level - it's pointless re-inventing yourself completely straight away, it will never stick. So to explain Deep Peat and why EFT-type interventions are usually only temporary - when you use most techniques (including eft) - it presupposes that there is a state you dont want (say fear) and a state that you do want instead (say love)... love and fear are a polarity - you cant really have one without the other, having this polarity means that, like a pendulum, you will swing between fear and love all the time, trying to stop fear and increase love only serves to increase the force of the polarity - it's like taking the pendulum and trying to force it up higher towards the 'love' end - inevitably the 'fear' end becomes more shrouded and darker, at some point in your spiritual practice you need to let go of the pendulum, and it'll immediately swing to the other extreme of fear. Using EFT - or shallow peat, you have some control over this pendulum swing - they take the tension out, the pendulum is lowered so that it's not swinging wildly or being held at either end, it's just in the middle, where you're not in a state of extreme love or fear. But the structure is still there - the actual polarity and the pendulum are still there, and inevitably at some point the pendulum will begin to swing again - ofcourse you can use eft again to control it - which is fine, unless you've got the goal of enlightenment or freedom in your sights, in which case manually controlling polarities will not do - you need to transform them... So this is where Deep Peat comes in - it's done with a 'processor' that takes you through the process (it can't be done alone) - you start with some simple polarity and use some of the accupoints to increase the memory of it, the processor then guides you to neutralise the polarity - when I had it done, in a moment I realised that fear and love (as an example) are the very same thing - it's just a spectrum of one single thing (I realised it in my body rather than as a 'concept'), at that point I felt a profound sense of emptiness and what I could only describe as yuan chi... after the first polarity is done, the processor guides you down a chain of polarities (each person's specific polarities and chain is different) you go through maybe 10 or 20 (or more) of such polarities, integrating/neutralising each one of them, untill you reach a polarity that carries a very heavy, powerfull charge (I felt a very strong energy and a lot of powerfull emotion) - this is the end of the chain - they call this last polarity your 'primes' - it's the polarity that underlies all other polarities and the main pendulum swing that has been controling your unconcious behaviour (over all your lifetimes - they claim) - once these guys are neutralised I felt an overwhelming sense of oneness, emptiness and freedom - there was a huge torrent of energy freed up. (the only comparable experience I've had was, funnily enough, on shrooms - but it was far more messy, and not as 'pure') It actually seems really similar to Kan and Li... but takes maximum 3 hours (mine took 2 hours, some people are done in 20 minutes) My life has not been the same ever since.. This is really the most powerfull thing I've experienced in terms of any spiritual/personal development technique or practice - I highly recomend it to anyone. (sorry for the length of the post)
  10. EFT

Yeah I found a technique which is pretty much the same as EFT, but it has a couple of very important differences that make it more effective... basically it's way more thorough - it's called Shallow Peat and you can find some good instructions here - although for some reasons the picture doesn't show all the accupoints for me - if that's the case with you, you can find the points to use here Most people that try EFT or Shallow Peat and report that it doesn't work usually miss a step or two - each of the steps are important! For example sometimes people miss the step of evaluating their distress on a scale of 1 to 10, as silly as it might seem this is an important step and shouldn't be missed... also 'where in your body do you feel the distress?' - focusing on this while doing the points will make the whole thing far more effective. EFT and Shallow Peat all work to dsicharge a polarity - so if the distress is 'I am nervous about my interview' there is a polarity between what you want 'doing well at the interview' and what you expect 'being nervous at the interview' - I sometimes recommend to shallow peat 'I want to do well at my interview' - because that settles the charge in the polarity more thoroughly. Unfortunately neither shallow peat, nor EFT are permanent - they're great for little things, but dont expect to solve such things as 'I'm worried about my finances' forever - you may get a week or so of relief from doing a session on your finances, but the structure for the polarity still exists, and the charge is bound to re-build at some point - so you can keep doing shallow peat and eft when it comes up, or you can do Deep Peat which neutralizes the whole polarity - so you cant possibly have a problem with money (whether you're rich or poor) unless you want to (you can still play within the polarity, but you cant be controlled by it)
  11. Shrooms

and it works far better mixing it in milk rather than water...
  12. Enlightenment in higher Education?

You can get most of the effective energetic stuff that they teach from Donna Eden - she's got a book called Energy Medicine that I would recommend to anyone into energy practices - she's the real deal!
  13. Enlightenment in higher Education?

GT - I'm also not sure what you're looking for - in terms of education, I did a lot of research on it - have a look at www.creativelearningcentre.com also check out Vera Birkenbihl - she's got some cool techniques for teaching/learning... And Brain Gym is a way of using physical excersises to improve learning (they secretly use energetic techniques - but pass em off as neurological feedback techniques so that it can be more mainstream).
  14. Hi

If this is what you're looking for, it's here Been reading through your site and forum a bit - great stuff!!

  16. Debt consolidation? Anyone?

When I buy books, I buy them from sellers like you on Amazon - it's cheaper and leaves me with more money! although - that's hardly a 'get rich quick' scheme - more of a 'get poor slower' scheme...
  17. The thing is one needs to strike a balance between skepticism and blind faith... The point is that blind faith will not lead you to anything great, but blind faith can also disguise itself as skepticism! Blind faith in science is the same as blind faith in religion or whatever... Nothing can really be 'proved' in science, so dont wait for science to prove all these 'extraodinary claims'... You also have to consider that science in the western world is as political as anything else here - most funding for studies comes from petrochemical, pharmaceutical and 'defense' industries... do they really care that water can hold intentions? well only if it can make money or kill people, yes! Does the Amazing Randi really want to give away his million? Do hospitals really want to report all their mystery cures? Does the pharmaceutical industry really want you to be healthy? etc etc... Many scientists are trying to remain independent and objective - these arent the guys who have the funding to set up big double blind trials on 'out there' theories... Then we have Quantum Mechanics - where the observer affects the observed by simply observing... you say the world is not flat - well to a 2 dimensional being it may well be! Grass is green? well only because the light that reflects from the surface of what we call 'grass' interacts with our eyes in such a way that produces the distinct 'colour' we call green... to a snake the grass will look completely different... so anyhoo - I just mean to illustrate that blind faith in science is no better than blind faith in religion... Things are often much smipler than the 'mystical' explanations we get... a hypnotist can make a man lose all his strength, just like a mystical chi master can... but the hypnotist needs 3 years training the master needs 20 - the hypnotist could do it to many people, the master will usually do it to a long term pupil... In the case of this video I believe it's simple hypnosis - the master may genuinly believe that it's through some other process that he can do this and it may be true - it's just his process (although different aims and details) overlaps exactly with the hypnotist's process... That's why I find someone like Robert Peng more interesting - you can use your body to really feel the effect of what he does...
  18. Shrooms

Really?! - Wealthy land owners are gonna get a shock when they realise they're growing huge quantities of Class A drugs in their fields! I remember there was a period of time when shrooms were being sold openly all over the place (in the UK) - I guess this reclassification was a knee jerk reaction to that... But I still wonder what they're gonna do about all the mushies growing naturally in many fields after a good rain. Yoda - there are some very potent legal psychedelics arround... Most of the tree barks, grasses and plants that contain DMT are openly available on the net... you just have to know how to combine the right plants in the right dosages and prepare them in the right way - which is where the headache comes in... but I've heard that Ayahuasca (the resulting brew) is very powerfull... (although it also makes you puke ) There is also a plant called Salvia - the leaves are traditionally chewed for a while - apparently also very effective (but more gentle)... although the kids these days smoke powerfull extracts of this and end up having over-the-top powerfull trips for about 15 minutes... which I wouldn't recommend...

  20. Hello

Hi Jordan, welcome to the forum I'll make a suggestion for you - but you might not like it at first - it's kind of counter-intuitive. Obviously you already notice when you feel stressed or when you feel down or when you feel some emotional need to fill an empty hole in yourself... noticing this is already a good sign... The next step is when you notice these feelings in yourself let them happen - I mean let the feeling really maximise and do it's thing - if you feel sad or scared really get into the very feeling of this and pay great attention to it - then accept the feeling unconditionally!. You know you feel this way, so accept it rather than trying to get rid of it, making it feel better or distracting yourself... just feel it through and smile an accepting smile... If you catch yourself talking in your head, saying things like 'I'm not good enough', 'I wish I was better at x', 'I cant do this' etc. just notice and accept unconditionally... When you do this for a little while you'll notice something facinating happening... once you accept your faults and feelings you'll start to transform each of these, and I'm sure you'll notice a big change in yourself!

  22. Just a quick question, Sean - not really part of this thread... How many yin yang gong masters has David produced? is David himself a yin yang gong master? are there any westerners that have the yin yang gong ability after studying with David's teachers?
