Soon the new release of word press should be out: The 1.5 I have been using WP myself in the last months and while the version .12 had some problems, the 1.2.2 was ok. And very good. Word press have been better and better consistently lately and it has tons of plugins done by anybody. Right now we have 4 different training logs, and there is no reason why they shouldn't become more. But is always confusing to follow them, as comments mix with the posts, or you cannot see a page with only the posts, but not the comments. So I suggests that as soon as WP 1.5 becomes an official release (and have been thoroughly tested) we implement it for our blogs. So we can have rss feeds of the blogs we are following, and can read the rest. My two hacks. Pietro

Just to let everybody know that the first discussion board using tags instead of a hierarchy threads have just appeared. Now we only need to let it have so much success that the people from phpBB will want to install some elements of it too. tagsurf.com

no no no no no lol. The kua i am refering to are a part of the body which pretty much run along the bikini line on the side of the crotch. By having a correct posture over there you define how the energy travels between the legs and the body, along the legs down and up the front of the spine plus other. Pa kua stands for eight power and is way more abstract. I am not even sure they are the same chinese word. And yes, Bruce is B.K.

Peitro. Good to know to be in a family of shakers... Hope you don'T mind to clarify the above a little more: what is a "qua" and what do you mean by "while the front rises". Do you mean the chest? Qua, is the nephew of donald duck. What I actually meant are the Kua. But we are moving in a place where you really need live instructions. I was hoping to let you recall info that you might already have received. When I speak on the front I meant: on the side of the spine, in front of it there are two lines of tension-energy. They start from the Kua (again!) and rise up. They are fairly advanced stuff, so is not something that people are expected to feel for the first 3 or 4 years. (Yet I would be surprised if Trip does not feel them, for example) All the alignement in the body are something which are hard to teach in not one to one form, so excuse me if I don't try. But Bruce will come in Germany to teach a course in TAi Ji and Taoist Breathing this April. I am sure if you are there you will have the chance to ask someone for tips. If someone shakes during his lessons Bruce tend to tell him what is wrong with his posture. And if all the rest fail I will be there and can drink with you a beer, saying how frustrating that we all don't have a private teacher Sorry if I could not be of more help. Pietro

I think it's a great new possibility, but I'd rather have that as another possible option. When I read the forum from my mobile 8) I need just the simple flat view, as it takes more time to connect, than to actually download the page. Said that I was meaning to suggest the mod too. Pietro

Hello Harry, and thanks for the thread. I think Max said it nearly fully. The only thing I would like to add is that as shaking often appears when energy doesn't travel smoothly, and sometimes there are some blockages, yet some other times is just that the position is not very good. For example check that the spine is actually well aligned. That the coxic (or however you spell it ) is tucked... but not too tucked. That the energy gate in the qua are open and from the qua up on the side of the spine. That the spine on the back drops down near the spine (while the front rises - yes the phisical does the opposite of the energetical). Try in particular while you are shaking. I was a shaker (:bounce: ) too, and eventually it changed. I just kept on practicing, refining the position, and soon the channels opened enough for you not to shake at your own energy.

Sorry guys but you don't understand a bum, and Lezlie is absolutely round to say that those are non natural bums. Personally when I am looking for great (natural) bums I either go to domai from which the following is taken: or to Abby Winter from which this second one is taken. Personally I think nothing beats Abby.

Actually I relearned to cry. It took ma ages. And I got my degree reading a book that moved me to tears of compassion, and while I was weeping I let myself go, and the whole body started crying. I didn't just had an orgasm with my big toe, I weeped with my fingernails. If while you stared to cry you feel the energy you feel where it get's blocked, you feel where the cry does not reach, where are it's limit. And it is a wonderful opportunity to let those limits loose, and let yourself in the cry completely. If you really do it completely, you will rise after without any saddness left. But do not enhance it or repress it or you will circle. This is what I learned, and is part of the water method. This is one of the reason why I find it hard to live in an appartment (I live in a campervan), where I cannot cry or shout, or properly laugh, or orgasm.

ehm, sat on a cave for nine years. Beside once your arm is frozen you can as well cut it off. -
Maybe we should have a tmp place that get's deleted regularly (like once a month) and we can host there anything we want, while keeping the non temp place for the 'serious' stuff. So porn should go in the tmp, becuase there is only a limited amount of <s>wanks</s> (ehm, cultivation) you can have out of an image. But chemtrials, and images that are teaching something should go in the non temp place. Or maybe we could have that only when something gets a certain number of votes does it get perm (but it should be authomatised, or it would never work). And it never gets deleted if two different people have seen it in the last month. Personally I think that most of this garbage is important as it creates the social tissue. It makes us a comunity to speak also out of the topic.
-
Ron, I think we should go on a vote on this, and my suggestion is that we should install a points per picture system. In other words you have a set of points and every picture can add or delete points. Generally picture of the pussy, and femal bum wil get you more points and picture of the male dick will make you loose TONS of points. Just my point of view, and ready to defend it against the Female Tao Bums

Ladies and gentlmen and Tao Masters, I present you the ultimate Tao Button utility: http://www.lucazappa.com/brilliantMaker/bu...buttonImage.php Who can make the nicest button for Tao Bums? You can temporarily host the buttons in flickr: and then copy them. When we have a good number of them we should make a competition for the 'official' Tao Bum button. Go for it, everything is allowed, pictures, quotes from the TTJ, EVERYTHING! Let's see. Pietro

Tovarish Pietro is actually at the present time working in a company, and gets Suse installed by the system manager. More than that is slowly recovering from having his heart broken (not to mention da culo) by Bill Gates product. So is following a slow recovery program. P. -

Everything went very fast. Also as we got things moving we did not want to start a war by posting the url immediatly. So we called one by one the people we had the email address. -

Yep, I'm the new drama queen. I think this is such a good idea. Right now is impractical to do it, but we should consider for next year. Beside Sean can't do all the PhP hacking. But if we all were helping it would still work. It made me wonder. But then I decided I obviously did not understood the meaning of the word. I think that the society is dictated partially also by the possibilities given by the tecnological level. Somehow internet is permitting type of organizatuions that before were impossible. And we should use them. For example Wiki contributions were generally not possible before, and now they are. Pietro -

It's true, it's true. We always think, if it is not this it has to be that. If you don't like democracy, you must like dictatorship. If you don't support capitalism, you must be a communist. In REALITY there are always more possibilities. -

That is a great idea, we should get our own sponsor for the things we believe in. Not crappy 'the tao of success'. Let's have an excange banner with Plato's Dildo. Maybe Plato's Dildo page might be interested in having our banner as we have theirs! -

Again, please, I wrote "technically" in charge. As in, on paper. But I consider every member to have a basically equal say in the site, so YOU and everyone else are in charge de facto. Here I am, sorry the belated answer. We are all very busy, which is not making things easier. I think we should agree on a number of basic things: of course for the time being you are technically and legally in charge,... which mean that if in any situation you need to do anything not to make the site go illegal, we (or you) being persecuted (I see copyright as a possible source of trouble, as we all quote quite freely) than you should just do what need to be done, and if there is enough time consult us all. If not just ask. It is not ok, to have anybody even fear that a comment said to anybody might get you anywhere outside equanimity (see Plato), and as such is generally better to have the owner of the host, the owner of the domain name and the administrator (and the php hacker) to be different people. For now they are all in you, but this might change. For example we could rotate the position yearly. Or whatever (in particular we should all help with the code). Even if it is too much a hassle to rotate, still whoever is in charge should just tell if he needs some rest, or anybody else should say of they feel the administrator is not being equanimous. The money that is collected needs to be used to pay for the hosting, and the name first. The extra money will then be determined by the community (to the administrator for his work? to all of us? to an external hacker we might had to employ? to any place we all agree on). You (and generally the adminitrator, ...) are part of the community like all of us. You got to say yours. Decisions should be taken by the community and then implemented, unless we are in legal trouble. personally I would like that the wiki starts working again Dear Sean, I think this is a sort of basic way to say the community comes first, and even if you have a position of legal power you shouldn't use it unless it is absolutley legally necessary. And since evrything change, you should feel free also not to be bound to it. If you need to step down for a period, we should all take turns. I hope we can agree on this and work together from this point. Any comment from anybody, Pietro p.s. I really appreciate the 'disclosure' -

Apologise with everybody for not being able to anser right now. My windows system crashed, and I am a bit in an emergency, as I am recovering under linux all the info. If you ever have been through it you know that those are quite hectic moments. Sean, I hear you. It is ok. Essentially (from MPOV) one thing is what happens if the law knocks, and someones ask you to take off some file that are copyrighted, from the day to day. In 2 minutes I have to be out of here... Yes. At the moment Sean has not got back the whole amount of money he placed in setting up this site. And I, for one, was not aware of how big were the costs he had to face How can I tell you that? Because of the page that I asked. Transparency means also that he is not the only responsoble if things go bad. -

Don't you worry. I am taking the whole karma of kicking this wasp nest on my broadening shoulders. Let me recapitulate for you, why did we moved. One day we came back and the DB was gone. The new one was not working. Immediatly I set up a temporary db in the wiki and invited people to speak there while James would repain the DB. Two things happened at that point. The post with which I invited people to use the wiki in the meantime disappeared from the HT, and Ron arrived really pissed off because James have deleted his post. There was the feeling that as we have graduated from being a mere discussion group to be a community, we could no longer be 'externally' hosted by someone who could throw out one of our historical members just because he SPEAKS IN CAPS LOCK AND WITH MUCH FUCKING PROFANITY, and has done so for the last 7 years. Or delete a post because it was pubblicizing a site outside the umbrella. There was the need for a change. More than that, most of us did not felt very much healingtaoboys any more. Yes, we all did those practices, some for a few years, some for months, but for most of us we felt that the search continued. So we started discussin as a community. Immediatly Sean set up a Discussion Board, and then invited us there. And that was more confortable that that stinky wiki were posts were being lost more often than not. We discussed what our name should be (Tao Bums, because we have no set school, but generally Taoism) (.com, because google ranks them higher, and we wanted to attract other people). Then we discussed the tool. I was the one with the biggest list of requirements, but no suggested software. Some people had other requirements, like a flat view, some, a threaded view, others. We found this which seemed a good compromise. It had most of the important charatteristics, and being part of an open source project there is the hope that the other (for example rss feed) will arrive. I kept on asking for a wiki, shouldered by Ron, and Sean set up Mediawiki. And I was the only one to actually use it. So here we are. We are all helping in this site. Some are helping with their programming, some with the money, some with their posts, answers, and wisdom. Some with their questions, which stir up interesting conversation, and let those who might know a bit more share without seem that they want to educate the world, and some with their attention. And someone finally being the asshole who stirs all the crap that no one wants to speak about. No single person is doing the whole job. As such we are a community. A community that uses some software to comunicate. I know Trip from real life, and I have personally promised him not to mention his infamous juicer,... oops, to late. I have met Plato and Max. Who have met dots and Shieky and the DM. We have started as an online discussion board, but by now we exist beside this medium. As such we decided that we needed a separate board, before being inside this discussion board. Sean offered it, and it was gracefully (and gratefully) accepted. We are not bound or slave to it. We needed one, Sean offered one, and we accepted. Not the other way round. Since I feel that we are all contributing to this site, I feel that no single person should be in charge of the extra monay... or should pay for the extra money, if we don't make it by the end of the year.
