Why is payment necessary for learning the Tao?
billb replied to Li Jiong's topic in General Discussion
Mantis this is because Li Jiong started this thread and says payment is necessary. Use your common sense. I sincerely do not believe he would contribute to taobums if he could not make any money off us, I could be wrong but this is what my intuition tells me from reading his statements. -
alternative medicine antibiotics antimicrobial strategies

I recently saw MMS on ebay for only 12.95 and it included the citric acid drops so you do not have to make anything yourself, it comes ready to mix and ingest. This was from an ebay store I think so it should still be available. I would not worry about stocking up as it is so widely available. I think Bob Beck is against taking garlic in its raw state only, as it does something to the blood that when combined with electrification the blood has a very porous barrier and drugs become far more potent as a result but I don't know the exact scientific explanation he gave. -
alternative medicine antibiotics antimicrobial strategies

If MMS actually does what they say it does, do we really need strategies and argue methods of silver? Has anyone tried MMS because it looks like the most effective way to get rid of microbes and I have not seen anyone say it does not work but I am skeptical. Has anyone tried this cure for malaria and other diseases? MMS is Miracle Mineral Supplement, Chlorine Dioxide, and costs about 20 dollars for a year supply and has results with cancer and aids as well. Is this stuff the real deal or bs? -
So if we do not pay you are you saying we can not save the world from these problems or not? You sound like you are making silly threats. I believe the method may be good, but you sound desperate. I already know I have free will. Please enlighten us all.

I am not clear on this. Are we all being punished by having to pay a higher fee because lostmonk reminded you of the price which you already knew was $72? You seem to be saying that if we do not have any discussion about the fee it will stay the same. Is this what you are saying? If you truly hope the price will be $98 for a few months why not just say so and be honest with all of us. I am truly interested but the price changes and explanations are taking some strange turns.
-
I think the price went up again and it is no longer $72. I wish he would not keep raising it or at least tell people how long the course will be available at the latest price. Ive never seen this before, is this a chinese cultural way of doing business?

I am now receiving acupuncture treatments in Boston from a liscenced acupuncturist and the cost is only $15 per treatment. These treatments typically run from 60-120 dollars or more but this is done in a group setting where four or five people can be treated at once. I think it is called group acupuncture or something and it is also available in other cities in the U.S. as well, so depending on where you live, acupuncture may be affordabel for most people.
-
In Boston it is also sliding scale starting at 15 and I think some start at 20 dollars. Keep in mind about 4 or 5 people can be treated at once for each hour. Most of the clinics are open certain hours per week so the acupuncturists also have a private practice, this is not the only thing they do. Mine also has her own practice and is a teacher at the school and the hours are about 2hrs per day with different times and none on weekends.

I think it is actually called Community Acupuncture and is available and many states and major cities, I will look it up when I have time and post locations if anyone is interested.

I will I am curious where are you going to possibly locate your practice?

Ok so what do people think is the best medical qigong out there?

I have the old book and went to the seminar in NJ. Is the kunlun moving 5 elements in the new book?

White Tiger I never said it was important on an intellectual level I was just asking a basic question. The reason for asking was because if it is the same form then maybe I don't need it because I already own Winn's course. You say it will take very very long but then many people say they are getting good results right away with Winn's form, both on his site along with some posts from taobums. But if it is the transmission that makes it much better than maybe it is worth paying for this form as well. I may try both. What I do not understand is how am I receiving a transmission from a 49 dollar e-book. Have you received this transmission and if you have do believe it makes progress quicker?

I have a chronic kidney nephritis and I have just started seeing an acupuncturist. My kidney yang is weak and I would like to know if anyone knows of any practices to strengthen it. I have just started kunlun but I don't know if it will work on this directly.

Is this form of Wuji similar to Winn's form (Taichi for Enlightenment). Winn says this Wuji standing form is his favorite form. I think it helps restore prenatal chi but I am not sure because I have the vhf tape but no player anymore.

This lower astral stuff is giving me the creeps. Don't take drugs anymore. Do they like beer?

I am surprised nobody mentioned the fact that people have been praying there on a daily basis for many years many times in large groups (and meditating). This should affect the atmosphere more strongly than any feng shui or physical location in my opinion.

I think I can make it to the Kunlun workshop but only on Saturday and don't know how to pay. The online registration is 300 for 2 days and I can only make it to one. I was told I can just go on Saturday but i don't know if I can just show up with 150 on Saturday or not. I did not hear back from the kunlun website and was curious if anyone knows about people attending one day.
-
Thanks Yoda! Now I just have to look into public transportation from NYC and I should be all set!
-
I can not make sunday but will try to make it saturday if there is room. I was told people going both days have priority and if there is room for one more I can go just saturday. I hope there is some transportation from nyc.

It looks like I might be starting a new job and have to work weekends so I might not be able to make it. Does anyone know if you can get a private session from Max on Monday?
-
Is standing the same as the five elements? And could someone give a brief description of Red Pheonix since it is not in the book?

Don't waste your money. I took it once and did not get any relief at all for arthritis in my knee and spent around 60 dollars for it. Got a pulse diagnose from a TCM for 20 dollars for my kidneys and then drank the herbal tea and my arthritis was relieved and this was not why I even got the prescription! If you can see a TCM doctor you will be treated in a very individual and specific way as to what you need at that moment in time. The prescription will help your body heal the problem, whereas the zyflamend is just a safe form of pain relief that does not relieve pain as good as aspirin, in my opinion. Try to get it with a money back gaurantee if possible, compare it to aspirin and I bet you the aspirin works better.

I would like to know what people think about kunlun in relation to kidney energy. I have a chronic kidney problem and am looking to take the new jersey seminar in may hoping that this will help my kidneys. I would like to know how people think it compares with acupuncture. Acupuncture is very expensive where I live in Boston, about $700 for 10 sessions, and then you have to keep going for another 10 sessions and another $700 and then you eventually just go about twice a month and it does not become so expensive after about 20 sessions but you need to keep going for chronic health problems and I was wondering if kunlun could help my kidneys just as much without spending so much money because I can't afford this right now.
-
I saw in the kunlun book a list of other things Max teaches and one of them was called organ resetting. I guess my kidneys need to be reset and I wonder if this is something that Max can do for people in his private sessions, because I may schedule one if this is available.
