Thanks for eveyone's input. My condition is called chronic glomrerulonephritis and I have had it since I was about 6. I am now 41. I have been seeing a professional chinese herbalist who is also a acupuncturist on and off for years but switched the last couple of years to a doctor of tibetan medicine because I don't have to boil and drink the herbs. In both cases I feel better with taking these herbs but nothing is able to get rid of the dark bags under my eyes which have gotten worse recently. The chinese formula always has rheumannia 6 formula with some supporting herbs. If I am without a herbal formula from a professional for more than 1 week I begin to feel very weak. There is also a professional formula called kidney well 2 by goutwelll international that I liked but I was only taking half the recommended dosage and did not realize it so may go back to trying it again. Costs about $100 a month at this dosage but is specifically designed for my problem by a western kidney doctor and a traditional chinese doctor. I currently practice the 5 rites to combat fatigue and also Ratziel Bander's Hsin Tao which is also very good for combating fatigue and I guess building jing but nothing helps to get rid of the dark bags. I have been reluctant to give Kunlun a try because I will have to give up shin tao and I have a lot of time invested, but I guess I will just have to do this temporarily and choose between the 2 and this is unfortunate. I liked the fact that some of your replies said that the cultivation benefits of kunlun go beyond the physical and may reach the underlying causes of my condition so this is the most convincing statement that it may help more than acupuncture. I once spoke to an acupuncturist at a work shop that gave up his practice because he thought it was helping people only temporarily and not addressing the underlying cause. So then you have to keep going which is very expensive unless you live in China or India or Nepal and the cost is very cheap. I may look into Science of Mind affirmations as well Yogananda's scientific healing affirmations to address the mind aspect because Lin once said in a post you have to have the right mind and this is hard to teach but he did not say exactly what to do to acieve "right mind". I have the kunlun book so I will try this week sometime but I really am bummed out that I will have to give up my hsin tao practice-Bill.

One of my favorite tv shows is talk soup and I had it on dvr and watched it last night. To my surprise Witch's diet was mentioned and wondered if anyone else saw this.
-
Actually it is airing again tonight on E! at 10:30 eastern time on the Pretty Stupid Models episode. He makes a joke about the diet itself but does not mention the book.

Hey Tibetan Ice where can I find these energization exercises? You mentioned supplement 8-a is this part of the SRF lessons where they give you a new lesson every 2 weeks or so? I was considering these at one point but did not try them. Is this considered a part of SRF'S Kriya Yoga? Do you direct the energy through the medulla oblangata to an organ in the body you want to heal? I think this region in the brain is mentioned by Yogananda in Scientific Healing Affirmations, which I once read but I am not sure about the other books. I also think that Yogananda having a kid is debatable, I guess a dna test would solve the debate. Does anyone know if there is evidence of this? SRF strongly denies this and thinks it is jealosy from other Kriya Yoga people, but I also heard the alleged son in question looked a lot like Yogananda.

I would like to know what people would recommend as their 2 favorite things to do to raise one's vibrational state from their own personal experience. These could be practices, behavioral changes or whatever one thinks works best for them. Obviously this is a personal opinion based on something that is experienced and not measured, so just 2 best things that have served you best. Please be as specific as possible. For example, if one is mantra meditation, which mantra vibes you up?

I think I will go to this. Does anyone have any idea where this will be in NJ? I have family in NY 40 minutes north of Manhattan and would like to know if I can get to the workshop by train from NYC. It would save me a few bucks and I could plan ahead.

I don't think you need to spend $395 to get the soloflex. They sell the attachment for only $150 and then you can attach it to your own platform or weight bench. The attachment is the part underneath the platform in red and this supplies the vibration.

Need your input for interview with multi-orgasmic man

I would ask where did you find out about this and who taught this to you unless this is already common knowledge. I would also ask if there are physical health benefits that people have experienced, does this physically invigorate the system. -
Does anyone know when the new kunlun book is coming out? I was thinking of buying the book but thought it might make sense to wait if the new version is coming out real soon.

I think a great place would be the Omega Institute in Rhineback NY located in the beatiful Hudson Valley. This is just 9O minutes from NYC and you can get there by car, bus or Amtrak. They have a shuttle for people who take public transportation and overnight accomodations for their weekend workshops. A big advantage would also be that they advertise heavily in NYC so there would be good advertising for the workshop. I would definately go and probably bring a friend or two.

I would like to know how important it is to receive the energy transfer instead of just getting the book and practicing. Has anyone practiced by the book and then got the energy transfer later? Was there a big difference? Has anyone practice by just the book and gotten results? I live on the east coast so I am thinking about just getting the book and doing the exercise but would love some feedback-Bill Bergin.

Just curious as to why the entire east coast is being ignored. I live in Boston and would definately travel to New York and I bet there would be a huge turnout there.

Hi there. My name is BillB and I am new to this forum. I am new to a lot of this stuff and my experience is mostly with energy work and also the 5 tibetans exercises. I have done a little work with Spring Forest and Peter Ragnar's magnetic Chi Kung. I would like to know why the 5 tibetans seem to have an impact almost immediately but not so with the chi kung exercises. Are they working on different things entirely? I am also currently working with Ratziel Bander's Hsin Tao and I like these exercises because the results are immediate for me and help with my arthritis while the other forms I have tried don't seem to work so quickly. I have some questions. I would like to know what anyone's opinion is of which microcosmic orbit method to use. Should I try Mantak Chia's or Michael Winn's. I know they are similar but Winn seems to think his method is better suited for westerner's. I would also like to know how long it should take to awaken this orbit with regular practice. Right now I can not feel my dan tien except occasionally for very brief periods. I would also like to know if Jing essence relates to sexual energy or bone marrow or both. Thanks, billb.
