That was a bad move on your part by assuming that I have read the Tao Te Ching. Never read it!
-
I was experiencing the Tao long before I read about it. Calling it Tao or whatever one has a need for is irrelevant to me, the direct experience is relevant.
-
No sense arguing with you given that you know all and see all while making absolutely certain that everyone else is wrong, with the exception of the few that are always thanking you for your marvelous posts. I am talking about the real Tao of nature not some philosophers theory. I understand the Tao by being a part of nature which I spend as much time as possible in.

The 'Gilded Age' with it's 'Robber Barons' benefited a few while the rest were in poverty. The picture you paint never existed. I guess you want to here yourself talk. For a site such as this, there are many here that have no realization or awareness whatsoever. The basic tenets of Taoism and Buddhism are not in agreement with the unfounded notion that wealth and selfishness are somehow of great benefit.

Nothing happens in a vacuum despite what some want to believe. We are all in this together!

Well said! Karl's neoliberal objectivist ideology is based on me first selfishness and absolute property rights. He fails to understand the dynamics of society and how all can have their needs met. Laissez Faire capitalism has never worked nor is a viable solution to dynamic social constructs. Even with the pipe dream of unfettered capitalism, all the wealth will eventually rise to the top 1%.

Global warming defines the problem differently than climate change. Along with the 97% of climatologists and other scientists that are working on this problem, I am in agreement with. Further, the so called manipulation of data is just another piece of bullshit propaganda brought on by so called experts. The problem lies in a lack of clear explanation to the general public as to what the ramifications of AGW are. To understand complex systems and their non linear properties is the place to begin.

That is beside the point of the conversation. My posts do not require vetting.
-
Coined or not, he is manipulating the discussion which has led to much confusion.

The research indicates that we are already in the 6th mass extinction. If key species go then we go. Key meaning pollinators!
-
Luntz framed that in such a way as to have one see that climate is always changing as opposed to the real issue of AGW i.e, 'global warming' as caused by humans, which many have bought into this dangerous meme. Further, this has led to confusion of the difference between local weather and global climate.
-
BTW, anyone who buys into the meme 'climate change' which is a term coined by Dr. Frank Lunzt, chief propagandist for the right wing, must understand where that meme originated. 'Global warming' was changed by him via one of his so called focus groups. https://www.skepticalscience.com/print.php?r=326

I have extensively written regarding AGW on this site years ago and was the object of personal attacks and ridicule from deniers and persons who lack critical thinking skills. But, in the interest of disseminating research, here is a place to start if you are interested. Regarding the premise of more CO2 being equal to to a greener plant ecosystem, plants have a limit as to the weight of CO2 absorption. Rising temperatures due to atmospheric CO2 are not necessarily a positive due to the fact that food crops in general, have adapted to a narrow range of climatic conditions, which may shorten the growing cycle and can be a contributing factor to crop failure. One thing to keep in mind is that local weather conditions are not the same as the biosphere's climate, but are part of a greater complex dynamic system. The models have predicted extremes in local weather events which can appear as extreme heat/cold and so forth. I read the link and here is a further reference from the link. http://www.nature.com/articles/nclimate3004.epdf?referrer_access_token=AQRtqCGmEK6dh46XR4-OjNRgN0jAjWel9jnR3ZoTv0OYJHZxvEebXSMq9zMi6Q2vWe61M7QFieokWQcY1PQbxTvLXPi0zyz-gqYvIoqJK0u-dOZ-dhFHhzdA2qIYojefJyoSzZSQeu4iPHvIelLEHMpLmAVz7G7GPBOQfpPgnyFuj_8xvGJSTjEaMwat5kctNoPfrP-UOP5MBMLEWiTggZSTLVWIwP01MuKAQUhSaoxm3hzUuSkijdk_QgpAe8Nx&tracking_referrer=www.abc.net.au Just a few short notes to ponder on. http://www.pmel.noaa.gov/co2/story/Ocean+Acidification http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/rising-acidity-in-the-ocean/

I don't know of any intelligent person that would respond to such drivel.

What one experiences as so called inner or outer appears as a division/abstraction. My experience being that space appears as a continuum, internally/externally with no perceived limit. The obsession with the 'isness' of things and the addiction of one needing an absolute one truth, only exists as an abstraction of the mind.

Advantages and Disadvantages of staying in the Lower Dan Tien

Here in Santa Fe the Advaita trance has been hugely popular. From Gangaji to Moojiji and myriad others coming through here being all the rage. Never been to one of their Satsangs, but just hearing any of them speak, I can feel the trance coming on which for me, does nothing. -

I own two of the DVD's; 'Golden Praying Mantis' and 'Red Dragon'. There are aspects that are not completely detailed.

On his site there is a complete level one and level one. I inquired as to the difference and didn't receive a satisfactory answer. There seems to be some controversy as to his relationship with James Lacy and Grand Master Doo Wai. Grand Master Doo Wai purportedly transmitted these practices to WBBM. Allegedly, WBBM never met Grand Master Doo Wai.

How does the average American live in The Way?

"Jewish rebrand"? Appears to be an anti-Semitic comment. -
Some will remember this famous scene while others may not. Kubrick expressed it well.

One way to experience the dream like quality of the so called waking state, is to view with softer eyes, which are wide open, but relaxed with emphasis on closeness as opposed to distance.
-
I have archetypal based dreams which I guess are more Jungian. If I wake up before dawn, and return to sleep, I almost always have lucid dreams.

How so?
