  1. Socialism does work

It seems that he is comfortable with chaos. I suppose each unit will have it's own military?
  2. Socialism does work

Never going to happen! Dwindling resources, war, overpopulation, health issues and food shortages for many, are variables that must be considered. I presume you missed the real world which is beyond your family values ideology. In your family unit, are you the supreme ruler?
  3. Socialism does work

Very broad generalization. 100% taxes? That makes no sense whatsoever.
  4. Stabilizing full-body breathing

    Was thinking the same thing.
  5. What are you listening to?

Zappa's guitar work was mind blowing! His music at this time was jazz fusion with a few other things mixed in.
  6. What are you listening to?

For all of you who remember Frank Zappa and The Mother's of Invention, this is a great piece!
  7. I ran across this on Yahoo Sports and I couldn't help but find this absolutely hilarious! https://screen.yahoo.com/popular/bikini-football-grabbed-everywhere-112009945.html
  8. Stabilizing full-body breathing

Can you explain the process you are engaging in? Detail?
  9. Tibetan Rainbow Body

If Padmasambhava has infinite emanations then it is reasonable to assume that he recently appeared as 'The Dude' in 'The Big Lebowski'.
  10. Tibetan Rainbow Body

There is some incessant need to make Padmasambhava into an anthropomorphic god.
  11. Tibetan Rainbow Body

I have read the story of Padmasambhava and I am arguing against there being a person named Padmasambhava that has infinite emanations and is larger than the universe. It is irrational to attribute human characteristics to a mythical universal being.
  12. Tibetan Rainbow Body

According to Tibetan legend and lore, Padmasambhava supposedly has 6 billion emanations at any one time. I guess he is everywhere.
  13. Objective reality

Good luck in defining objective reality. The odds are not in anyone's favor.
  14. Socialism does work

I was asking a question regarding that statement.
  15. Socialism does work

What do you mean by "it all went well"? Are you supporting the atrocities of these butchers?
  16. Socialism does work

    The Joker's statement on money.
  17. Socialism does work

Ill gotten? Poker is perfectly legal in Vegas and all who play do so of their own volition. Is poker immoral in your world view?
  18. Socialism does work

Day pass? Are you in an institution?
  19. Socialism does work

There is a lot of Ayn Rand in his narrative. She was nothing but a hack!
  20. Socialism does work

Are you a poker player? There are certain poker rooms in Vegas where the players are so bad and which makes for easy pickings.
  21. Socialism does work

There are private corporate interests that are opening up uranium mining in close proximity to the Grand Canyon National Park. This is an outrage to the native people living there and should be condemned by all. Corporations have far too much power and money! http://www.biologicaldiversity.org/news/press_releases/2015/uranium-mining-04-08-2015.html
  22. Socialism does work

My reason for posting the above photo is that public lands are and have been set aside for all to enjoy by the government. There are many right wing types that want to sell off these lands to private interests which would be a travesty.
  23. Socialism does work

I am getting ready to retire this fall. Perhaps I will retire to the poker tables in Vegas. Great town, plenty of beautiful babes, good food and fun. Death Valley, Mt Whitney and Yosemite are not far. I have camped out just below the Whitney portal above Lone Pine Ca. next to the glacial end moraines. Can't beat that! Image of Mt. Whitney from the portal.
  24. Socialism does work

You and I briefly touched on that many pages ago when the subject of dynamic systems was brought up. The advocates of any political/economic system are wanting a predictable stable system. History has no examples of such a system.
