Some Chinese? No academic background, obviously. That leaves much room for error. The Chinese nor any other culture own the real nature of reality. The real teachings are in the public purview if one is paying attention. All phenomena are symbolic of what lies beneath.

You read the texts in the original language? Are you a teacher?

This is clearly OT and diverting the thread to your own issues. Start your own thread on this subject.

Why not go beyond these mythological beings to whatever the main energy source is, possibly the Quantum level.

If this practice is so important, then other traditions must have it.

If the methodology is so vital, then why has it disappeared? I have heard these excuses many times.

I fail to see anything useful in your post. Seems nothing more than hearsay.

Your posts seem to claim it as fact, however, the site in reference gives no evidence whatsoever.

Please explain what was good about it.

If this dude is not dead, then I want to see if he has a pulse. If no pulse, I doubt if CPR would do the trick.

This was put together by the Hubble team which shows approximately 1 trillion stars in one galaxy. Absolutely mind blowing!

For any Philip K. Dick fans, his book 'The Man In The High Castle' has been made into a movie. The pilot is on Amazon and I won't reveal the plot. Watching is free. http://www.amazon.com/The-Man-High-Castle/dp/B00RSGFRY8

Electrical current above the waist will and can have a detrimental effect on the heart. Submerged in water is even riskier. This applies to small DC currents. Avoid AC unless you want liability problems.

I was waiting for more. Perhaps a little reserved? I love her serpentine face art.

Of course it is a belief system. You can't prove otherwise. To say it has nothing to with the the past contradicts the premise of karma.

Interesting supposition, but hardly tenable. The problem with the concept of karma is that is was formulated during the Axial Age in a culture that knew very little as to the workings of the cosmos, human nature/psychology, let alone much outside their geographical region. One can argue determinism vs. free will, which solves nothing. It would be apropos to change your world view of humans to include women. I am referring to your use of the outdated term 'man' when referring to the human species.
