The three realms and meditative quiescence, psychic powers.

Is this from Kriya Yoga practice? -
Anyone read the 'Glass Bead Game' by Hesse? Just starting it tonight. http://www.amazon.com/Glass-Bead-Game-Magister-Novel-ebook/dp/B00ANI9G0O/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1408767344&sr=1-3&keywords=hermann+hesse

The David Icke Videocast: ISIS - made in America and Israel

More conspiracy theory BS! He gives no sources for his narrative. -
I can't even think of a good response to the OP.

I will remove the hyperbole and state 'in general' some are. I have every right to state my case.
-
You may believe a certain way such as denying 'real substances' and so forth, but that belief does not make it so. The Greek philosophers discussed this and today discussion is still taking place.
-
From my dealings with Buddhists over the last 30 years or so, emotional and a rigid mental mindset apply. There seems to be an incessant need to be absolutely right which is no different than fundamentalist preachers. Perhaps their reactions are from being raised in a religious environment and Buddhism is an outlet for projection. I never agreed with the 'must be kept secret club' which is some dude told another dude and so forth through the ages to keep it secret. Socialized primates love this kind of closed group dynamics.

I am talking in regards to going beyond labels which has more to do with real awakening. Those labels don't exist as neon signs anywhere. You didn't answer my question in regards to outsiders not being welcome.
-
It seems to me that anyone challenging your opinions is not welcome here? I never believed for one moment that Buddhism was a closed private system. BTW, Dzogchen is the point of discussion in several threads. Not Buddhism.
-
I agree. Norbu always taught from a nonsectarian perspective.
-
It seems that one is expected to be a passive receptacle and accept a commentary/text without question. What is the problem with analytical discourse? What are you afraid of? GIH's analysis was well thought out and made sense. Honestly, this is the problem with rigid fear driven religion and those that never ask questions.
-
Once again, in what way has GIH advocated eternalism and solipsism? Please cite quotes. Eternalism has several meanings.

There is a case when objectivity must be ignored even if it's real.

This is the problem that is being discussed on the other thread in that you fail to expand on your narrative- 10 replies

I have a real problem with your narrative. Especially the remark "there is nothing wrong with racism".

Any sources for these mystical yogas?
-
I was just asking him to participate with his own interpretation as opposed to all the cut/paste which is his usual way.
-
The same admonition to discuss the subject at hand applies to you. Cut and pasting lengthy quotes are not means of discussion.
-
@goldisheavy, I understand your position in regards to mind being infinite capacity? Is that correct? How does the concept of energy/movement fit with the capacity of mind? The ideological quest for neutrality/stillness that is sought after is a misunderstanding?
-
The term uneducated implies that I am naive and have not studied this subject matter. I most certainly have and I see no evidence of karmic traces or even the belief in karma being of substantive fact.

I will find a quote from Norbu in the first Yantra Yoga book in which he talks about the dangers of spiritual practice. Actually, Norbu is a perfect example of someone who has faced major health problems all his life. When he was diagnosed with Leukemia in the early 90's a lot of his students were absolutely horrified that a high practitioner such as Norbu would come down with cancer. I know there are other health issues. Posted is one link. http://www.dharmawheel.net/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=2700

I don't appreciate the patronizing and much condescending nonsense from your posts. You think I am an uneducated idiot who is unable to read? You are implying there is a secret/blind meaning in the OP's quote from Dudjom Lingpa and you are the sole interpreter. I don't buy that for one second.

I am putting all my cards on the table so that others can learn about what I have been through. So what is the deal with all the secrecy? What are you afraid of? A vajra hell realm? Sounds like you are a member of a secret cult as opposed to helping others understand!

@Zoom The Sikh teacher that I conferred with termed it an awakening/kundalini experience. However one describes it, it is not always pleasant. Although, the sky gazing was much more deconstructing.
-
I have posted several times in that regard.

I am very serious. Just look at my avatar. The joker archetype is a very ancient one which predates the Buddha.
