1000 Dollars for Transcendental Meditation?
ralis replied to Everything's topic in General Discussion
If you think that is pricey, then sign up for the yogic flying course in Fairfield Iowa the home of Maharishi University of Management. Other siddhi programs are offered. I know someone who blows 25,000 at a time for such courses at this school. -

I first heard this piece before a Robert Plant concert a number of years ago.

Cut/paste and various arguments posted here have not answered the OP's questions. Most of these arguments are untenable.

Neo Advaitans are somehow lesser in their realization than you? That makes you an elitist does it not?
-
I agree. I detest the use of the term ignorant. I have stated this misuse many times to several Buddhists on this forum. Just more elitist nonsense.

Excellent remarks! I argued with several Buddhists on this site for years and not one was able to offer a satisfactory explanation to the questions you are posing. Buddhists are trapped in absolutist anthropocentric ideology. Buddhists fall back on 'non being' and conveniently ignore the rest of the Hegelian dialectic; 'being, not being and becoming'.

Watched this series back in 1974 after it was released. All thirteen parts are on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioiP47bJ5d4&list=PLYzacqIOovj2JU-qOCEm5rmPa9QWS9lHD

"Truly are"? I don't think that answers the question. Practical examples would be useful.

I use it every night. Bought Wave 1-4 years ago and now getting back to it. Also I use the isochronic tones from Transparent Corp. The gamma wave is awesome! http://www.transparentcorp.com -

Focus 10 is very deep relaxation while staying awake. What you are experiencing is just a reaction to a state you are not familiar with. Over time, that "snapping back" will no longer be an issue. -

I imagine that the points are in Wang Liping's book. -
Just started this tonight. 'Managed Democracy and the Specter of Inverted Totalitarianism'. A bit depressing, but well worth reading. http://www.amazon.com/Democracy-Incorporated-Managed-Inverted-Totalitarianism-ebook/dp/B005DXON3Y/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1399871492&sr=1-1&keywords=sheldon+wolin

Here is my favorite. Unfortunately, Whole Foods was the only store in town that carried it. Not anymore. http://www.scharffenberger.com

I am getting ready to indulge in a large chunk of chocolate right now. Can't go a day without it!

Just found this out, yet the DEA and other agencies are claiming there is no medical benefit to cannabis. Ridiculous! http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO1&Sect2=HITOFF&d=PALL&p=1&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPTO%2Fsrchnum.htm&r=1&f=G&l=50&s1=6630507.PN.&OS=PN/6630507&RS=PN/6630507

Here is an example of the so called 'Devil's Interval', 'diabolus in musica', tritone, or flatted fifth. Haven't we had enough superstition that was created by the Roman Church? http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/magazine/4952646.stm
