The decline and eventual fall of the USA as world superpower?

That is a specious rhetorical argument which goes nowhere. I hear this from the Tea Party and Libertarians. I am placing the blame where it should be placed. I am aware as to what is happening in this country. I would recommend reading 'Nineteen Eighty Four' if you are not familiar with the premise of the book. The biologist E.O. Wilson has extensively researched as to how species survive and evolve. His work rejects the ideology of 'Social Darwinism' and has found that species display altruistic behavior as a means of survival and evolution. Some human primates have mistaken a non altruistic selfish behavior as a means to evolve. 'Social Darwinism' at it's finest. This is the behavior that many right wing persons display in the political venue. I see very little altruistic behavior among far right wing persons.

You are implying that there is massive voter fraud. It is rare. At least I show my resources. http://www.addictinginfo.org/2013/06/21/shocker-republicans-account-for-most-cases-of-u-s-voter-fraud/ http://www.azcentral.com/news/politics/articles/20120817voter-fraud-rare-united-states.html http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/OTUS/voter-fraud-real-rare/story?id=17213376 http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/map_of_the_week/2012/09/voter_id_laws_a_state_by_state_map_reveals_how_much_voter_fraud_there_is_in_the_united_states_almost_none_.html

I knew you would show up sooner or later to shill for the right wing 'Jim Crow laws'. The Voting Rights Act' of 1965 was passed for a very good reason, which you fail to understand. Whenever I speak for the rights of minorities, you always show up to speak for taking away those rights. Don't give me this rational BS as if you are being rational. You are not!

This issue has only been brought up by the Republican right wing since Bush took office. If your concern is in regards to voter fraud, there have been very few cases of. Election fraud is a real problem. The problem is one of requiring persons to pay for an ID which is a poll tax. Many person living in cities have never had a drivers license. Why has this issue been brought into the public venue since Bush but before it was never an issue?

The state of North Carolina has instituted the most egregious voting laws since the 'Voting Rights Act' of 1965. As soon as SCOTUS gutted 'section four' of the act, many southern states including; Texas, Alabama have re-instituted draconian voting laws within 48 hours of the SCOTUS ruling. Women and minorities are the most effected. Many of these new laws require certain forms of ID that many do not have or can afford. Such requirements amounts to a poll tax which is not Constitutional. http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2013/09/30/227591062/justice-department-to-sue-north-carolina-over-voter-id-law

Bigotry is a form of bullying and should not be tolerated. Either have rules that work or just let TTB become known for allowing hate speech. That is not censorship, controlling others thoughts or what Brian refers to as "forced behavior." It is simply the way civilized adults should behave themselves.
-
To permit bigotry in the name of 'growing our hearts' just gives bigots cause to further their hate filled agenda.

Have the moderators stopped posting requests to have a member edit their post when there is a clear violation of the forum rules? E.g. ad hominem attacks and so forth.
-
I reported the blatant bigotry, derailing and flaming rhetoric that WWROA was posting. Within 30 min. the thread was moved to the pit. No discussion or warning was given by the mods. Protector made comments that made absolutely no sense and I responded by asking him to explain himself. What kind of moderation is that? There are some here that believe in absolute free speech which allows bigotry, hate, racism and so forth. Such speech can certainly lead to violent behavior. Historically, there are many examples where flaming rhetoric leads to violence. BTW, I have seen a moderator check the like button on some of these posts. I can only assume that WWROA is still a member of this forum and will be allowed to continue in the same manner. The following links are Protector's responses. http://thetaobums.com/topic/32073-has-the-west-descended-into-fascism/page-5#entry485517 http://thetaobums.com/topic/32073-has-the-west-descended-into-fascism/page-5#entry485506 http://thetaobums.com/topic/32073-has-the-west-descended-into-fascism/page-6#entry485519

The fascism thread goes into the pit with no mod action against blatant bigotry. Down the 'Orwellian memory hole' again!

I would like to see combining posts to cease. Feels like censorship.

I recently posted about the right wing's anti-intellectual agenda to cut education in the U.S. This young women understands the value of education and why everyone has a fundamental right to a superior education. BTW Malala is a nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSfLlm0b0Es -
Thanks! I will have more questions later.

If I understand you correctly, you are using the AH on the in breath only?
-
You are using AH as the technique to vibrate the third eye etc.? I have been working on the third eye the last month or so.
-
Third eye points? I am only familiar with one. Or are you referring to the other centers above the third eye? Third eye first. Then ears and temple? This seems similar to Bardon's pore breathing but different.

What experiences besides a change in health for the better have you experienced? Can you clarify that with more detail? I will have more questions in a few minutes. Thanks

The decline and eventual fall of the USA as world superpower?

I understood what you meant. However, the problem remains with the radical right making extreme demands that are causing myriad problems such as what some here have stated. -

Are you insuating that I am not capable of logical thought? Are you also positing that the radical right is rational/reasonable in their list of demands. Furthermore, radical has nothing to do with being logical but in general is an extreme position, a reactionary position etc. I am stating in terms of what is happening now, with the far right making absurd demands. At least I post links to back up my arguments, as opposed to some here that post personal opinion and hyperbole. From what I have observed since Obama took office, is that the radical right wing racists are wanting to destroy his Presidency. Consider the effect of the shutdown on states such as Nevada. Nutrition programs for poor children, infants and pregnant women will be cut along with other cuts. http://www.reviewjournal.com/news/sandoval-told-federal-shutdown-could-hurt-nevadans-economy -

Prove it! Not by posting hyperbole or tea party rhetoric. Provide valid analysis. The 'tea bagger' right raised the debt ceiling 5 times under the Bush administration but with no silly demands. Here is a list of demands from the 'tea bagger' right wing. http://thinkprogress.org/economy/2013/09/30/2699221/21-things-republicans-demanded-shutdown-default/ One demand not mentioned is to eliminate a women's right to choose. -

If the debt ceiling is not raised. The debts are already an obligation, voted on and funded by Congress. -

The Tea Party radical right is engaging in extortion by holding the debt limit hostage. If the U.S. defaults, the global financial meltdown may be worse than the 'Great Depression'. Furthermore, the credit rating of the U.S. will be severely damaged/downgraded and may never recover. The debt is for obligations already authorized by Congress and not new spending. The 14th amendment is very clear on this matter. http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/amendmentxiv SECTION 4. The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned. But neither the United States nor any state shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void. This Tea Party U.S. Rep. is oblivious to facts. The 'Affordable Care Act' is already law and this insane attempt to defund it, while extorting the entire country for political gain, is ludicrous. http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/10/08/tea-party-leader-gop-passed-clean-defund-obamcare-and-clean-delay-obamacare-bills/ Tea Party Express Chair Amy Kremer said on Tuesday that Republicans in the House of Representatives had passed “clean” government funding bills to “delay Obamacare” and “defund Obamacare.” As the government was entering the second week of a shutdown on Monday, President Barack Obama called on House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) to allow members to vote on what’s called a “clean” continuing resolution (CR), which would reopen the government without stopping the health care reform law. “The House should hold that vote today,” the president said. “If Republicans and Speaker Boehner are saying there are not enough votes, they should prove it.” While speaking with MSNBC’s Chris Jansing on Tuesday, Kremer made it clear that Republicans had a different definition of “clean.” “President Obama keeps saying bring a CR — bring a clean CR to the floor let them vote on it,” Kremer said. “Well, my question is, why doesn’t [senate Majority Leader] Harry Reid bring the clean defund Obamacare [bill] to the floor and let the Senate vote on it? Why doesn’t he bring the clean delay Obamacare bill to the floor and let them vote on that?” “I mean, it goes both ways,” she added. “They’re both responsible.”
