If someone bounces around or sticks to a fence, what does that prove? Whether it is Dondrup or Max C. what is the point? Dondrup uses the same students in every video I have seen. Just more 'woo woo'! -
Dondrup has been discussed here before. He only works with his true believer students who jump around like insects.

By repeatedly referring to phenomena as 'emptiness' one creates a defense against the depth or full experience of phenomena. 'Emptiness' seems to be a way to deal with the surface structure as opposed to the greater depth experience. -

By repeatedly stating "emptiness formless awareness" creates a disassociation or 'itness' from each other and our environment. Possibly an 'infantile oceanic state' as Freud states or Jung's 'divine realizations which are errors given the objectified nature of such experiences. -

To objectify Chunyi Lin and Jim Nance as if they are supermen, then all who follow their teachings will never go beyond what those two have achieved. I don't doubt what their realizations are but this hero worship becomes another model or paradigm which in this work one must break the existing model/mold and go beyond. To objectify, reduce, deconstruct to small elements that are quantified as objects (it, isness, separateness, out there) will invariably impede one's quest. The use of pronouns by which we all relate to each other and the external would be an excellent place to begin an understanding of the relationships which I mentioned. -
I have seen a number of PBS specials on this topic and have read some of the literature. Thanks for the reference.

I think you are missing the point of this discussion. Humans and primates share between 95-98.5% DNA. I am attempting to broaden the discussion by including all aspects of human intelligence. Not just the cognitive, as deconstructionist thinkers in the West believe.

My point being that by not including other aspects of one's being and how that relates to beyond oneself, the quest for the greater self will be limited. An understanding of the use of pronouns in one's speech will yield an important clue as to one's evolution.
