My post was in regards to my own thoughts and in no way was influenced by the media. I was referring to Jetsun's post on the Tea Party and not you. Any single minded political movement is a grave injustice to all. It is up to us to restore a more balanced existence on this world. I in no way inferred an absolute balance of the Tao was possible. The biosphere and by extension the universe is dynamic, not static.

Outsiders generally see it like it is! Demagoguery based propaganda is a very effective tool to gain power with. History is replete with examples of such insanity. 1930's Germany is the best example. The political right wing in the U.S. still uses Joseph Goebbels playbook to their advantage.

Exposing the religious ideology of Dr. Roy Spencer and the funding of the denier group is vitally important. Money and religious ideology don't mix with scientific inquiry.

The Tea Party's ideology is about radical deregulation, laissez faire economics, gutting all social programs and all governmental programs the Tea Party disagree with. This is about the accumulation of money and power which only benefits the wealthy few! This is life out of balance and has never worked no matter what the argument. The global revolution is about creating balance and a better life for all!

What is your point in being here? Why not go to a forum dedicated to debating global warming? There is a phenomenon called "Zen Sickness" in which one's ego becomes overinflated. This occurs as a result of partial awakenings that are filtered through the ego or a grandiose sense of an absolute separate self. There is no separate self. We are all in this together.

The problem now is that real solutions are not being implemented. The deniers have politicized this issue and basically stopped real progress. It may be too late! The tipping point may be the methane plumes around the arctic circle. The only thing the government mandated is that minorities with excellent credit ratings were to be given the same opportunity as anyone else in obtaining credit for a home mortgage. No more red lining! That is where government is important in enforcing civil rights and stopping discrimination. The Republican Tea Bagger movement loves to discriminate against others they deem inferior! Vmarco commented on this in a previous post. BTW racism and discrimination still exist in the U.S. Just listen to Ron Paul, Rick Santorum and Michelle Bachmann. Paul believes the Civil Rights Act was wrong!
