I was in the military during Viet Nam and I know what the machine is. Encephalon is correct in that discussing economics is missing the point of this discussion. The study and subsequent application of economic theory is not based on a physical science. Moreover, economists obtain data based largely on human behavior and the data obtained are modeled mathematically. Not empirical but highly subjective.
