Exactly, how have you reached this conclusion? You make this into an elitist pursuit, which is what most teachers agendas are so as to make power, exclusive.
-
What characters are missing? I have been busy with a few projects that I needed to focus on.

Are you a Tea Bagger and right winger? What you post is nothing but Frank Luntz and Karl Rove propaganda. It is Luntz that began using the term "entitlement" so as to create division and therefor, move the power base to right wing politicians and corporations. For your information, people who pay into pensions and social security, rightfully receive those benefits after a given period of time. The benefits of those programs are not free and are earned. I suppose you feel the corporations should keep exporting jobs to China while the Feds give tax breaks for such practices? Why is no one talking about reducing the size of the Pentagon and stop two illegal wars? Instead, the likes of Michelle Bachmann et al want to privatize SS, gut the EPA, eliminate the Dept. of Education, reduce corporate taxes to zero, teach creationism as valid science in public schools, deny funds for scientific research etc. Their ilk are very anti-intellectual and anti-life! A nation of people where around 50m people have no health insurance and can't afford it creates a burden on everyone!

Thomas Hanna's YouTube links. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=thomas+hanna+somatics&aq=f

Go to the Feldenkrais Guild home page and you can find a list of practitioners and there may be one in your area. Teachers offer ongoing classes as well as Functional Integration hands on work. Also if you can find copies of Thomas Hanna's videos and book, that would be most useful. There are some videos of him on YouTube. Hanna was a student of Moshe Feldenkrais.

Are you going to introduce any of us to it? That would be most appreciated.

You believe this stuff? Just more channelers proclaiming wisdom teachings via a disembodied entity, for lots of cash!

The first link is broken, could you repost it? I would like to add that I agree with you in that conservatism is an increasing threat to freedom loving people. Politics and religious belief systems BS, and those that adhere to such narrow minded ideology are included without exception. There are a number of members here that fall into the category of authoritarians. John Dean cites one major study conducted over several decades beginning after WWII, as to the insidious nature of authoritarianism. I will post a link to that study later. http://www.amazon.com/Conservatives-Without-Conscience-John-Dean/dp/B0013LTF2Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1314366766&sr=8-1 http://members.shaw.ca/jeanaltemeyer/drbob/TheAuthoritarians.pdf

I would say that you are indulging your senses at this very moment. One cannot not indulge one's senses. Further, to say that there are degrees of indulgence is absolutely absurd! -
When I first saw Amy Lee years ago, I was amazed by the power of her voice. To sing in front of a Gothic Metal band and pull it off is awesome.

Another misconstrued fundamentalist rant based on fear! -
The 'Theory of The Unitary Executive' was brought to the forefront during Bush's term, which is an unconstitutional power grab. They nearly succeeded! http://www.boston.com/news/politics/politicalintelligence/2008/03/unitary_executi.html http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Unitary_Executive_Theory

You only stated an opinion and offered no definition of spirituality, which can never be defined. -

Exactly what is spiritual and what is not? Would you care to define and enlighten us? -
Why not listen to Hartmann and then judge for yourself. That way you can have an informed opinion as opposed to just making an arbitrary decision based on a web site.
-
Alex Jones is not the best source of info. on this topic. Thom Hartmann is and if you go to his website, there you will find plenty of info. Highly recommend listening to him via satellite, internet or local broadcast. Hartmann is smart, articulate and his broadcasts are informative. http://www.thomhartmann.com/

One of the major behind the scenes players in the right wing Christian dominionist movement, is a group in D.C named 'The Family'. Jeff Sharlet's expose' on this sinister group of right wing fascists, is well worth reading. If anyone believes that right wing fundamentalism is not a threat to freedom, then a thorough study of this book will provide insight as to the motives of fear based religion. http://www.amazon.com/Family-Secret-Fundamentalism-Heart-American/dp/0060559799

Vmarco is not here to defend himself and it is really low to make disparaging remarks during his absence. I guess some feel safer doing it that way. However, I have come to expect that from certain members here that argue from an attached emotional basis as opposed to adding some semblance of rationality to any discourse here. What V's intent from the very beginning was to invite others to engage in a precise discourse as a way to succinctly point out what is non verbal. Some here are just too emotionally attached to words to engage in such an endeavor. BTW CowTao, V said nothing about being trans-gender and stated ambi-gender. There is a difference. The Buddhists here are probably the most vehemently attached to their ideology, of words!

Christianity, Buddhsim, Religious Taoism
ralis replied to Harmonious Emptiness's topic in General Discussion
Was listening to the Mike Malloy show last night and he was talking about a new sect of Christian fundamentalism. New Apostolic Reformation or NAR apostles is a movement that wants to reform the world based on some twisted ideology! Ideologies such as this are based on fear, death and destruction! http://lethimhear.wo...nce-at-harvard/ -
Where did you arrive at that conclusion? Have you met Vajraji in person? If not, then by what criteria have you reached this conclusion? You are giving Vajraji credit, where credit is not deserved. Why? What you attribute as a caring Vajraji is nothing more than a parental projection. Further, you have made him a guru.
-
Here is where it all started. See the five minute mark.

I think you misunderstood my intention in asking Vajraji several questions. Many times Vajraji writes in a vague manner and I wanted clarification. Moralizing? Not in the least!
