The drought situation is extreme here and with 1 fire of approximately 10k acres just North of Santa Fe and a new one SW of Los Alamos (fire grew to over 43K acres in less than 1 day). Santa Fe is filled with smoke and ash today which makes it very unpleasant. Santiago (KAP) taught me a few things to work on during these situations. However, the more that participate, the better! I have seen a Tibetan Yogi create some weather disturbances here in Santa Fe and he did it on a consistent basis. We need rain!!! http://nmfireinfo.wordpress.com/

The only reason for me making this request is based on what I witnessed from Ngakpa Yeshe Dorje years ago.

The fires are caused by human carelessness that is being investigated. I asked for help with this problem and not a story that doesn't apply. Extreme weather conditions are part of climate change and become our responsibility to solve.

Evolution and the teaching of Women's Inferiority

I used to shove my testicles into the public bone when I was little. Not a big deal then and is not a big deal now. Believing in these strange techniques without proof as to possible outcomes, is a mistake.

I guess you are not old enough to remember 'Ben Hur' which he starred in. As to your latest and not so different rant, everyone knows humans were created by the Ananaki to mine gold for them. The Anunnaki were jewelers from another planet.

I know there are a number of accounts in various traditions of this phenomenon taking place. This account should by no means should be exclusive to the Tibetan Buddhists. The video speaks for itself. My link

IM4L must be a religious fundamentalist! All the references he uses are from ID people.

It has been said by Lamas in this tradition, that the heart center stays warm during this process. The attending monks can feel this and when the warmth is diminished, then the meditation is complete. No mention was made of this.

Parental projections are irrelevant. Whenever someone is a religious fanatic, I will question their veracity!

I thought this thread was about long dead masters. Somehow, it has turned into a discussion of cultural anthropology.
-
I think you making racist stereotypical remarks here and that is not appropriate.

Talk about a judgment with no facts to base it on!

I am posting this article by Rabbi Geoffrey Mitelman in hopes this will inspire a more rational discourse with Vajraji. My point is, all religious beliefs must be made current and beneficial for our time, as opposed to the clinging to outdated cultural belief systems. My link

Indonesian Qigong Masters are more powerful than the Chinese

These guys are more powerful than any Tenaga master. I am working on the voltage projection and will soon master it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFEjcvIRMDo -
What? All things have the same inner nature? No structural differences? Another absolute statement on your part. Even photons have different wave patterns.

You are claiming that the Buddha's teachings are without error i.e, pure cognition? If that is true then why so much debate and preaching on your part? Further, the myriad schools of thought that have generated over the centuries all have their differences such as doctrines, primordial Buddhas, rituals etc. Not to mention the cultural differences between each country where Buddhism exists and translation problems. Your narrative contains much trance induction i.e, repeating certain key phrases ad infinitum. DO&E are repeated in the hope that many will buy into that trance.

Dead teachers have become larger than life!

Are you using the term miscognition in the Freudian sense, Jacques Lacan or are you just stating that one is ignorant and by implication of Buddhist ideology, all beings are ignorant, and therefor suffer, due to the mythology that all beings are thinking incorrectly? Pure cognition that transcends belief? Transcends any error in thinking? Your statement implies there is a state of pure cognition which is not samsara. However, for every state to exist an opposite must exist simultaneously. Freud stated that all cognition contains miscognition. Not one without the other, but both. Lacan would disagree with your notion that miscognition leads to ignorance. Lacan theorized that one must have a prior knowledge of what one is to miscognise.

My points are related to this thread. The belief that someone who has been dead for 2500 yrs. necessitates repeated chanting of his sayings so that a truth is thoroughly indoctrinated, warrants questioning.
-
I have never said all paths are one. If you preach your strongly held beliefs here, expect to be challenged.
-
Chanting leads to a vulnerable trance state in which anything can be believed as absolute truth or in this case relative truth. Further, if the Buddha's truth is so profound and universal, then upon hearing, one would immediately believe without any trance induction. Further inductions or chanting in this case would not be necessary. What this technique does is reinforce the original altered state. Have you crossed the ocean of samsara?

I understand more than you could possibly imagine! Your preacher like remarks and attitude don't qualify you as a teacher. My point is one of questioning religious hierarchal beliefs that create disparities among all. Your narrative lacks inclusiveness of others that don't share your beliefs.

The claim is made that Buddha after his death is teaching in an energy body to qualified masters. That has always been unacceptable to Theravada Buddhists and yet the use of the term Buddhism in present day discourse is somehow meant as all inclusive for all Buddhist believers. However, in that context, the Tibetans in particular have created a hierarchy of lower, Theravada being the lowest, to higher teachings, Tibetan Buddhism being the highest. This mythological revisionism does nothing but create disparities where none should exist in the first place!
