I just watched the video and didn't like the editing of the interview with Bearden. He started to talk about James Clerk Maxwell's work and that is where it was edited. A change in current technology would be great. Devices such as the MEG could be used in one house, neighborhoods etc. which would decentralize the power grid. However, I am not seeing it happening on any scale. If the MEG worked as advertised, funding for production on any scale would be no problem. I just don't buy the conspiracy theories. 'Global Scaling' is another one of these flimsy theories that has accomplished nothing. Several of the promoters just went to prison for investment fraud. http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.raum-energie-forschung.de/&ei=C3yMSeblGYGStQOwrsWOCQ&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=6&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3DGlobal%2Bscaling%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1B3GGGL_enUS286US287%26pwst%3D1

That would not be difficult here in the U.S.

Maybe you should recheck your work. Things may have changed.

Exactly, why doesn't Bearden have the MEG in full production now if it is the answer to all our energy problems? Is it one of a conspiracy problem? Patent problem? Faulty theoretical work? The problem with these devices is that none have been proven to be work in field testing. If you are going to write as if these devices are viable, then the proof must be obtained by you, with accurate field tests and repeatable data. The onus is on you. Any accusations by you that I am just another skeptical layman who knows nothing, are emotional attacks and only divert the conversation away from the real issues. I just read Bearden's article on research at Los Alamos in which he claims that Dr. Victor Klimov has proven that overunity is valid and Bearden goes on to state that the research is finished and never needs proven again. However, that is not what the research states. The research was conducted to find a way to increase solar panel efficiency. The research team make no claims for overunity whatsoever. Bearden is making absolute claims where none exist. That is not the mark of a good researcher. http://www.cheniere.org/correspondence/042011.htm http://www.lanl.gov/news/index.php/fuseaction/home.story/story_id/15709

I am not blind and not a layman. A friend of mine who is an engineer is a very good friend of Bearden's and he told me personally that the MEG device will never work!
-
The 'Joe Cell' is an elaborate scam that doesn't work and never will. There are a number of sites online that will verify this. I have followed Tom Bearden's work for years and his MEG device is not an over unity device. If it were over unity, the device would violate the second law of thermodynamics. Friction and heat are the two factors that no one talks about when discussing these devices.

He studied with Glenn Morris and Primack refused to give Glenn any credit for teaching him. So they parted ways. Also Primack has made an outrageous claim that he has been trained by a Siberian shaman.

Come on Vajraji! A viewless view is still a view no matter how you spin it! Further, by making some absolute difference between ideals of theism and so called right view of Buddhism and claiming Buddhism has no ideals is preposterous. I wish you would do some research and use a dictionary before making condescending remarks. -

This song rattled my cage in 1971 and I realized that I could never devote myself to any guru or religious authoritarianism. Although it did take years for me to be strong enough. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCcwNoVSt2E -

I believe the Chod practice is in phonetic Chinese. BTW, your comment on having friends that spoke Hebrew in NYC. That is not unusual given the fact that reading Hebrew texts is part of Bat Mitzvah and Bar Mitzvah. I was referring to the difficulty of translating Aramaic, not Hebrew. -

Many of the Vajrayana practices were taken to Tibet from India and revised to suit Tibetans. Scholars traveled to Tibet to find the original Sanskrit texts and none were found. I guess they were destroyed. Most of the language in the texts is bastardized Sanskrit. I saw that early on when I first read and chanted those texts and that did not feel good to me! -

Let me explain so that everything is nice and clear. Ok? Language by it's very nature is limited in describing phenomena. What that means is that language is a symbolic representation of an object, a state of mind, or even a proposition. In other words, language is not an absolute function as you so desperately want to believe! Languages are cultural standards so that everyone can understand each other and try to get along. Is that clear? -

A good friend of mine who became a student of Reshad Feild told me that Reshad was a "beautiful authority" and he submitted to that. I know what that did to his life and about 50 others here in town. Reshad is an alcoholic and that speaks volumes as to what he really is. I saw that immediately and refused to work with the guy! -

I remember Norbu being absolutely clear that practices are secondary and Rigpa, enlightenment, realization or whatever one calls it is the primary state i.e, the natural state. -

The 'Zohar' is one part of a vast catalog of works under the general heading of Kabbalah. Most of the Kabbalistic texts has never been translated due to lack of funds. 'Zohar' is written in Aramaic and is very difficult to translate into English. However, Dr. Matt has been given unlimited funds to complete the 10 volumes in his lifetime. Kabbalah as most Westerners know it are books that are fragments of a greater system and most books found are written by hacks who know nothing of Hebrew or Aramaic. Dr. Matt and Aryeh Kaplan are the two main scholars that have completed the most translations. I challenge your contention that you know something about Kabbalah or even 'Zohar'. You read something called Kabbalah and now you think you are qualified to make judgments! To compare those works to something else such as Kashmir Shaivism without in depth study is preposterous. -

Here is vol.1. I believe the complete work will be 10 volumes. Matt is a first rate scholar and translator. http://www.amazon.com/Zohar-Pritzker-Vol-1/dp/0804747474/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1307251254&sr=8-9 -

Proclaiming the totality of existence that can't be named or defined by assigning any philosophical or religious values is missing the direct experience of the infinite possibilities of existence. If one analyzed E&DO 24/7 with every activity, that would create mental problems. No ism in and of itself that claims to quantify or understand existence using verbal arguments, will provide concrete answers. Verbal arguments are used to define existence in absolute terms i.e, isness, which is a human struggle to explain the unexplainable. Daniel Matt's translation of the Zohar provides an excellent argument in regards to "Ein Sof" the undefinable and unnameable. I am a little tired now and if the above is not well written, feel free to critique. -

I think the whole point is one of a visual/feeling experience while the analytical part liberates. Language creates separation.
