As Blasto has so aptly pointed out, ideological extremism is the real danger that must be opposed. So far Wall Street has been allowed to steal trillions, create bubble markets, including the recent spike in fuel costs at the pump, which many can't afford! Given the crisis in Libya, are there oil shortages? Absolutely not! Wall Street propagandists (speculators) create the illusion of short falls and the fear there may not be enough, therefor higher oil prices are justified. Just recently Obama addressed the oil price situation. He said that he asked the DOJ to look into anyone taking advantage of the situation and he failed to mention Wall Street speculation. Why doesn't Obama stand up to this kind of economic extremism? Could it be that Wall Street, in particular Goldman Sachs, gave large sums of money for his presidential campaign? If not Obama, then who stands up to political and economic extremism? If not now, when? "The needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few." Mr. Spock

Obviously, you are a proponent of more nuclear plants? However, I am talking about the human cost of even putting workers in harms way to produce the thorium. Did you read the link?

Being a long time resident of Santa Fe NM and also being downwind from Los Alamos National Labs, I have some perspective on the kind of research that created the technology to design and build nuclear power plants. The concept arose after WWII, that somehow nuclear weapons technology has some inherent utility for peaceful purposes. The ultimate technological fix. Those dreams have turned into nightmares for many. Not only for Chernobyl and Fukushima but for the soldiers who were marched into nuclear blasts as some sort of sick military experiment! There is a uranium mine in Grants NM that has since been closed and the long term health effects on those who mined there are absolutely horrifying. To make matters worse there are several major roads in this state where uranium tailings were crushed and used for base course during construction. That is not common knowledge around here. One thing I forgot to mention, is that Los Alamos National Labs is located on the East edge of the second largest collapsed caldera on the planet. The caldera happens to be in it's dormant phase. However, it is due for another event. Not a very safe place for this facility. http://www.vallescaldera.gov/

A couple of posters here have jumped on the bandwagon for thorium based reactors. The implications are that thorium is a safe alternative that for some reason was rejected. The link provided below briefly discusses the hazards of thorium production and other problems. There is no safe technological fix! http://www.world-nuclear.org/info/inf62.html

Wall Street Journal- Most published science studies found to be wrong

One quick example of pseudo scientific, unprovable, with no peer review is the "Jenny Cell." This is some gimmick where a device filled with water, will power an automobile forever. Free energy! People buy this stuff? Purveyors of this sort claim to understand the innermost workings of zero point energy, whatever that is. http://etheric.vpinf.com/prototypes-1.html -
I listened to some of Thom Hartmann's broadcast this morning and he spoke at length about the myriad problems with these reactors. I was horrified that waste is basically stored on the roof of these so called containment buildings! With all the accumulated knowledge of uranium and hazards of, one would think designers of these facilities would have a clue as to what safe design parameters are! However, the meme is still being circulated in the media that these facilities are safe.

Just found this interview and it puts some perspective on the Fukushima power plants disaster.

Just found the photos of Kan and more that show absolute proof of.....? Some of the photos are very poor quality. http://www.primordialalchemist.com/kunlun-neigung/kunlun-gallery/

I was just reading some comments on the possible reactor meltdown. Apparently one of the reactors is plutonium fueled. That will make the situation even worse if a meltdown occurs. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/as_japan_earthquake

Maybe? It was a natural phenomenon. No one on this planet has the technology to cause tectonic plates to move!

This video is so disturbing. For this reason and many more, religion corrupts! She believes God caused the tsunami! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UmotTE-VlY

Germany and Switzerland are putting new nuclear plants on hold. I am certain their engineers had the latest most sophisticated and safe design ready to be implemented. Obviously, many questions need answering. http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2011/03/14/germany-and-switzerland-freeze-development-of-nuclear-reactors/

Alarmists positions or not, the problem is that building nuclear power plants on fault lines leads to major problems, no matter what backup systems are constructed during the building phase. The problems that humans fail to realize are the structural differentials when comparing any two seemingly similar systems. The differentials among any number of separate systems (nuclear plants) are not absolutely quantifiable and therefor many unexpected variables will never be factored into the original design. Apply this to the Japanese nuclear plants that were overbuilt to compensate for tsunamis', earthquakes and other variables. The original engineering failed to factor in a 30ft. tsunami as opposed to a 25ft. tsunami that overwhelmed the 25ft. wall designed to prevent such an event. Further the earthquake was a 9.0 on the Richter scale which is a quake of incredible magnitude. I have yet to see any data as to what structural damage the nuclear plants sustained.

Already there is political debate in the U.S. over the building of new nuclear power plants. A Dem. congressman just said we need to rethink building more plants. Sen. Mitch McConnell, who is obviously benefiting from the nuclear lobby, feels there should be no debate during a disaster of this kind. In his mind after this current disaster has passed from the memory of most gullible Americans, a green light will be given to build more nuclear plants, just as in the recent granting of 30 deep water drilling permits in the Gulf of Mexico. When will we see the day when human primates actually learn from egregious mistakes? What most who have not taken the time to read books or search the internet, do not realize, is that nuclear power generation is a sophisticated means to boil water!

Obviously, you know nothing about geological dynamics and why such things occur i.e, plate tectonics. This has been happening for millions of years, even before humans were around.
-
The nature of the game is that the Japanese islands are sitting on the "Pacific Ring of Fire" which is an area of great geological instability. It is obvious you know and understand this. However, some on this forum don't have a clue!

Quoting Rense as a reliable source is absolutely ridiculous. The numbers of holocaust victims are well documented and besides what does this have to do with the present tragedy in Japan?

I add raw chocolate to my protein shake every morning. Good stuff.

You are right, it is not a good test.

Are you going to send me some? I love chocolate.

They were removed for a short time! If anyone is a troll here it is you!

Have you tried this on people? I will try it on some of my sick plants and friends after I get started on FP. Thanks

Toying with the idea of replacing Vicodin with reefer for pain mgmt.
ralis replied to Encephalon's topic in General Discussion
Hey Blasto! Here is the link. Scroll down half way to the "Glove Anesthesia" link. This is the most natural way I know of and the technique is based on theta brain waves. I believe Silva gives a 30 day guarantee. Hope this helps. http://silvashop.com/cart/alacarte.htm#hand_glove -

Blasto, There is a Silva technique for pain management. I will send the link when I find it.
