Just adding a bit of levity to lighten things up. Sometimes it gets way too serious here. -

Great! I am so happy that you appreciate my words of wisdom. To prove your worthiness for higher wisdom, just complete 100,000 prostrations to the joker avatar that I have graced this forum with. Then and only then will hgher wisdom be bestowed. -

The idea that lack of sleep, not needing to eat, uncontrollable bliss states and other phenomena mentioned here are in my opinion very dangerous. The body of literature around the negative effects of kundalini is extensive and well known. Add to all of this the ability to totally feel others pain without strong boundaries is really inviting trouble. These manifestations are caused by incoherent energy fields. Only the coherent energy fields are necessary for balance and real evolution. -

I believe the MRI in question showed white spots in the brain. That phenomena is usually indicative of neurological damage or some type of neuro pathology. Not some type of advanced superman. -

I responded to your remark in regards to guru yoga and your claim that I was clueless. You made an incorrect conclusion. -

I have done Norbu's guru yoga and realized it. You don't know me or what my practices are. -

You missed my point by a few light years. I was referring to empty promises of power being doled out by gurus. No matter the venue. -

Are you still doing the practice? -

I just remembered a very excellent example of how people are duped. If anyone has seen the videos of the TM people in Fairfield Iowa doing what they believe is levitation and is nothing more than yogic hopping. The Maharishi claimed he could fly his body anywhere without an aircraft of any kind. He was never seen flying around and yet people pay big bucks for the siddhi courses in which real levitation is one of the promises made. Yet no one has actually levitated and the true believers still arrive. -

A system only provides security or a box with limitations that are inherent to the particular system. Further, Max has sold a package of disparate techniques that are unrelated and not of any one lineage all for the bargain price of 300.00. The question remains as to the efficacy of Max's techniques and if Max has truly mastered any techniques in question. -

In terms of responsibility on the teachers part, most teachers don't have a clue as to what the ramifications are for any given practice. Many assumptions are made from anecdotal evidence, rhetoric, propaganda, all of which can be very misleading. -

The comments on this thread certainly indicate that teachers need to be responsible for what they teach. All the so called spiritual systems of attainment are producing random results at best, whether it is Max or whomever. -

Take your heartless mental Buddhist rhetoric somewhere else. -

If the world is an absolute projection as Lucky claims, then one who suffers and is ill is merely peojecting? Right at this moment I am tending to my mother's needs since she is very ill and nearly died 3 weeks ago. Tell her that her heart failure is some projection. Your rhetoric is heartless! -

Yes Trunk, it was Naga to the maximum limit. However, I was strong enough to deal with it! Were these my projections? Absolutely not! -

I had the worst and most bizarre dreams in my entire life which started the first night and continued for months. That made me realize there is something devious in this lineage. These dreams had nasty physical side effects. BTW, Max's claim of membership in " The Red Willow Society" is very questionable. No one including my friends in Taos NM have never heard of it. The Taos Pueblo is very closed to outsiders. -

I think the main problem with Max or any guru is the problem of the intercessor, sole transmission holder or middleman. On Max's old site he stated one of his names and said he was the last of his kind. Very exclusive view of himself it would seem. -

W Are you saying that success in the Max system falls in the realm of a statsical probability that is an unknown? However, the hype is otherwise and is implied that all will benefit. Why are none of his students manifesting transparency and other abilities? -

It works for you and other Kunlun believers. However, it is well known that Max's empty force has no effect on outsiders. Exactly what is happening when only believers display such phenomena? -

Escalation? No. Just pointing out what usually is not obvious or what most don't want to look at. If a teacher is going to be a public figure, then they should expect serious critiques. That is the price of being a public figure. Max is perfectly welcome to come on here and debate his system. It is obvious a number of people have problems with his system. -

Now it will be spiritually incorrect to critique the cult of the holy guru on this forum! It is absurd to hold teachers above reproach!
