He has repeated the same points (dependent origination) hundreds of times.

I have seen the Moody Blues 5 times and Santana twice. I missed seeing the Moody Blues when Pinder was with them. Oh well! Also I saw Jean Luc Ponty 5 times. He was amazing!!! If you get a chance to see Lyle Lovitt, he is an excellent performer.

Absolutely! I didn't get to see Jimi live or even Jethro Tull. Wishbone Ash was great live. Uriah Heep made one great album. The greatest guitar players I have seen are: Santana and Alvin Lee. I saw Jimmy Rogers before he passed on and his lead guitar player was kick ass! Don't know his name. Jimmy was so old he had to sit in a chair and be helped off the stage.

Vajraji always wants the last word to make himself right and others wrong. He even accused Wilbur of being New Age. Obviously, he has never read any of Wilbur's earlier writings. In particular, his comments to New Agers and the guilt trips they were dumping on his wife when she was dying. He wrote several articles in East West Journal debunking New Age beliefs. Vajraji comes off like a New Ager in believing he creates his own reality.

I believe Dr. Valerie Hunt discusses psychic surgery in her book "Infinite Mind." She states that she went to the Philippines and witnessed the technique first hand. No evidence of fraud of trickery was found. She is trained in anatomy and physiology. What she found is that a scalar wave field was created to perform this technique.

This is fascinating! I have often wondered if certain species including humans are more like plants i.e, the ability to convert light to energy. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/12/24/solar-powered-animal-hornet_n_800303.html

Karma police? You are wanting to be the thought police which is nothing more than oppression of others. According to your ideology, I should sit in the corner and be very afraid of anything that might cause a ripple in the interconnectedness of phenomena. Then I will reap bad karma for eons if I make a mistake. That attitude is paranoid, guilt ridden and self serving. Why would any reasonable intelligent person want that path. This whole Buddhist karmic philosophy is anthropocentric to the extreme! Buddhists have some notion, they are responsible for the workings of the entire cosmos and if wrong thought and action are cultivated, then the entire cosmos is screwed for infinite eons. If you feel a need to be detailed in worrying about every infinitesimal karmic detail, then go and join the Jains in India.

"Grounded in their own inabilities?" Exactly what is that supposed to mean? This used to be a Taoist forum until Vajraji was invited here by one of his buddies to preach the gospel of the Buddha. He has misrepresented Buddhism as the ultimate spiritual authority on this world, while condemning other belief systems as being inferior. This is typical of fundamentalists and their incessant need to create hierarchies where none exist. He believes his writing is pedantic in scope, which is not the case. One only needs to follow his constant bantering of several key points, ad infinitum, to understand that he is more interested in preaching legalistic points, as opposed to having real debate. He posits fundamental ideology in conjunction with wild stories of his past lives and most recently, extreme longevity of a select few on this world. Whenever I question his ideas he always returns with a personal attack against me. Recently he has a need to belittle my experiences in receiving Rigpa transmission from Norbu. Rigpa by its very definition has no rules and he has a need to impose rules. If this forum is open to debate, then what is your problem in wanting to define and limit that debate?

Article on the 1917 espionage act. http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2010/12/espionage-act-threatens-left-wing-activist-son-executed-communists-declares/

His writing is way beyond my comprehension. Cut and paste? Interesting assessment.

I guess you are the ultimate arbiter of truth! Why are you the self appointed Rigpa police? Not only in that context, but you are the the thought police. I know a few Buddhists and many Christians with the same attitude. BTW, elongate means to grow longer i.e, physical growth. From what I know about brain plasticity, you have all the marks of a conservative. Only you express it through religion. http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2010/12/conservatives-fear-center-brain/ You used the term "believes" in terms of what Norbu teaches in regards to longevity. Belief is irrelevant, and has nothing to do with the truth. As far as I can determine, Norbu is still human and has the same flaws as humans. If he had no flaws, he would not be here. You are probably not aware that Norbu almost died from leukemia 20 yrs. ago. The actual transmission of Rigpa has nothing to do with beings living for thousands of years. You state this extreme longevity as if it were factual.

The teachings of Norbu and specifically Rigpa, means freedom from religious oppression that you so rigidly adhere to! Further, it means that I am free from goosestepping with any teacher and belief system, including Norbu and you! Provisional faith and belief systems are walls for the weak minded fools that are terrified of naked awareness. Provisional faith is the path of the weak minded. The transmission of Rigpa has freed me from conditioning that power hungry religious fanatics impose on others. That imposition is always in the name of the highest cause.

What are you trying to say? Makes no sense!
-
You are calling me a liar? It matters not!
-
You have no idea of what books I have read or what my experiences are! It seems your superior realization and knowledge serves you well! The acquisition of such lofty states must give you a sense of blissful sublime joy, while demeaning the teachings I have received from Norbu.

Maybe the intelligence is in question and should be replaced with gullibility. The problem is that of Westerners believing anything that is exotic and mysterious. Legend and lore play large in the minds of the gullible.
-
I can't believe intelligent people believe this. This lies in the realm of myth and can never be proven. Two friends of mine that are devout Tibetan Buddhists, hiked all over Tibet and Nepal looking for these people and found nothing. Even with inside information they found nothing.

Glenn Greenwald interview in which he pokes holes in so called journalism. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=385x538728 An excellent piece by Chris Hedges. http://www.truthdig.com/report/item/2011_a_brave_new_dystopia_20101227

According to you, the Buddhas are the only enlightened ones! Therefor, everyone else falls short. Your legalistic view is no different than the average fundamentalist preacher.

Great! Expect a response from our local Buddhist expert soon.
