Will arrogance ever cease with you?

I guess since my academic work was in Horticulture, I wonder about such things. I did see some research on this some time ago.

For a real explanation of nonlinear dynamics, albeit a simplistic one, read this. https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Nonlinear_system

The brain is a reduction filter that only allow certain data to be perceived. Therefor, the constant flux is not perceived.

The double standard of religious acceptance

I would say that all religions are systems that limit the experience of the adherents of. Systems by their very nature are limited. -
To measure from point A to B is a probability function? Not an absolute? The wave has no boundaries except values that are arbitrary . Theoretically would not the wave have a positive value of 1? Meaning no boundaries? If we are seated at the intersection, does that not imply a separate existence?

That is a simplistic and mechanistic view which is more Newtonian than the work of Einstein. See my latest post in this thread.

Here is a review of Einstein, Feynman and their work on time. http://everythingforever.com/einstein.htm

You are correct that a Buddhist lecture was followed by the so called expert. It took about 1.5 hrs. I guess he just can't help but feel a need to preach the gospel of Buddha.

Which is the best source on the Runes?

Do you think Bardon's work is related? In particular his "Key To The True Quaballah"

You are exaggerating about some of this. I used to live off W. San Francisco St. in the 80's. You were probably my neighbor. There were no drive by shootings since the gangs were broken up and the gang leaders were put away in the state pen.

Your use of the term chicano is considered by many in this state as offensive. I suppose you feel the same way about the native population here in NM.

Why do you drag Norbu into this debate? I know you see him as a father figure. However, you have turned this into some 3rd. grade argument of your daddy is better than my daddy. Grow up!

[quote name='Vajrahridaya' date='20 December 2010 - 01:22 AM' timestamp='1292836979' Ye of little faith in your own Rinpoche you claim to be a student of? You have revealed none of the qualities of having experienced even a touch of Rigpa. You are just too mean! As well as reductionistic in a deeply negative and pessimistic way towards all the things that ChNNR believes and experiences to be true with the aim of complete eradication.

I just remembered that a reincarnate Lama is a Tulku. Should I comment further? Don't Tulku's usually have their own monastery?

Tibetan Yoga meditation methods revealed
ralis replied to Immortal4life's topic in General Discussion
Your arguments for a supreme Buddha are nothing more than a personification of a Buddha as deity. You consistently attempt to create a supreme source in a Buddha lineage. Your insistence that Buddhism is atheistic is reactionary and creates a binding condition of substantive reality in your mind. Therefor, creating another condition to be liberated and the purification of that belief will take eons. You have your work cut out for you. -
It appears that Wikileaks will expose Bank of America next. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x4664787

Is your claim of a Lamaist past or any of your other past lives designed to lend credibility to your arguments? This is the reason, why you have trouble with those of us who critique your arguments. Now you have expanded into a Bodhisattva victim status here in the U.S. Why not stop the pretense. It is difficult to take you seriously.

You proved my point!

I read Hofstadter years ago and for a loop to open, I believe self referencing would need to stop. Not certain how that is possible. What is interesting about the strange loop which is really a fractal pattern, is that for each iteration, the next shape (value) is similar to the previous value. Is the quality of being self similar a different self and yet contain the previous values i.e, self. If you are a resolution, does that define some static self that no longer evolves? Is a static condition even possible?

I was under the impression the Buddha was enlightened by the breath. However, I have not heard of the divya caksus before.

We all know who will be joining this thread very soon. I have studied the Visuddhimagga and it consistently refers to the breath as a way into this. Do you agree?
