Actually, your logic does not follow! If, the photos were created for educational purposes, for whom are these photos intended? Only one who is gifted to see? If the images in question are photoshopped, rather than just snapped, then isn't that being deceptive? If these images are for the sole purpose to educate one as to the potential of the practice, then there must be a disclaimer on the page. Otherwise, this is just another case of propaganda.

Why has does this discussion lead to divisiveness, authoritarianism, provisional faith and exclusivity? The true believers create these divisions for myriad reasons. Mostly as a group dynamic! However, the arguments for these miraculous events are created as one upmanship against anyone that questions authority. "You aren't ready", "you have no faith", "you can't see or trust", ad infinitum. Now the phenomenon is presented that Max dematerializes so that only one person can see that particular event. Why not the others in the group? Is that person who witnessed this event more special than the others in the group? Trance induction, perhaps? Further, there are supposed MRI's and x-rays of Max and supposed physical abnormalities and the poster of that refuses to indulge his audience as to what he observed. Max can't go to a hospital for fear his body would be stolen? What is that supposed to mean?

If there is a woo woo moment i.e, a strange aura or whatever on the image, then people get all excited and attach all manner of wonderment as opposed to asking serious questions around what these images really are. To attach delusion or fraud to the Karmapa is irrelevant as to whether the image is substantive evidence of something miraculous.

Someone mentioned in an earlier post that when Kan turned transparent in Japan, his coffee cup fell through his hands. Then why doesn't all his clothing fall off? His clothing weighs more than a coffee cup. I think that is a reasonable question.

In general, the problems human primates have are: Fear of questioning authority, wanting to believe in anything that looks good i.e, the woo woo factor and lack of critical thinking skills. Well put! The use of karma against people is a real travesty and is nothing more than a roadblock to real evolution of one's potential.

There are some here that are interested in cutting through the fake crap that is put forth as authentic! The true believer as part of a mass movement, will always admonish the outsider for asking serious questions. Why? The outsiders critique is seen as a threat to a tenuous belief system. The belief system is not based on reality or proof and is based on emotional tenets. Further, one who truly pursues a chosen avenue of spiritual practice, must question without fail, extraordinary claims. If the claims hold true, then there is no problem.

You really don't know how to critique what is put forth by others! Further, I never said anything about the Karmapa being a fake. He was a real person. The photo of him being transparent looks like a faulty image. We are discussing auric images here and the validity of. If you care to comment on the Karmapa and the Kan photos, then do it! I don't know what Kan and Max have to gain by this, except to create a mass trance induction so as to make it easier to recruit more students. Further, Max has the most impressive resume of anyone who has ever lived. Master of Tibetan Buddhism, Mongolian Shamanism, received the highest teachings from the Red Willow Society in the Taos NM pueblo (nobody has ever heard of this group), Egyptian Magic and tea ceremony master among other abilities. Last but not least, the all important extra DNA strands.

If one carefully examines the photos, a few problems can be observed. 1. The first and second photos shows distorted body proportion i.e, hands. 2. The so called light around his feet is very angular as if from movement. 3. There is a lot of over exposure behind the figure. Examine the photos without preconceived notions i.e, no woo woo. See the photos as they truly are.

Obviously, it only works on the true believer! I guess this is another example of authoritarianism at it's finest!

Since there is a credibility problem with these photos, there may be a problem with the claim around Kan healing from paralysis.

The figure in the photos is distorted and the proportions of the figure are skewed.

My reason for asking his evaluation is that he is a world renowned landscape painter. He has a better eye at picking out fakes than I do. Further, I have an interest since I have been practicing Kunlun for almost 1 year.
