You insist for some unknown reason that my experience is so limited that it will never measure up to your judgment of me. I make a very honest statement about the cosmos and all you do is try to humiliate me. You have fully demonstrated here the real problems with religion and it's adherents. ralis

Carmen is a very good friend and I was sad to see her store closed. Health and finances were the reason. Wasn't there a movie 'To Build a Fire'? ralis

I have been stating that the cosmos is not quantifiable semantically. One can only make approximations. If that is true, any attempt to create a belief system i.e, religion, philosophy or whatever is dishonest and gives the adherents of, a false sense of security. Even if it is the religion of 'dependent origination'. Honestly, I realized what 'dependent origination' was when I was a kid. Any 1st year physics student knows this. ralis

I grew up reading sci-fi and the entire high school library. I just remembered Jack London. Great books on the wildness of nature. 'To Build A Fire' is freaky. http://london.sonoma.edu/ ralis

Those points are upper center of palm right on the so called life line. Straight down from the middle finger. Just put you awareness on it and you will feel it. ralis

Very funny! I never thought in those terms when I recommended 'Radix'. I think you may appreciate Attanasio's writing style. I certainly did. He has a blog. http://www.aaattanasio.com/ ralis

What you just stated is very difficult to add to. Thanks! ralis

BP Water-Fire alchemy: NOT a political thread, please

The problem I have with your theory is that alchemy is a very difficult procedure. I have known several alchemists who have failed miserably. There is an alchemist in Utah (Dr. Joe Champion) who claims to be able to transform silver into gold. I don't think he is for real. I find your theory difficult to believe. ralis -

I don't believe it is the posture but the alignment of the palms in front of the central channel. Make certain the Lao Gong points are aligned when you first start. The book shows that. I do a lot of this while standing. If you can obtain the transmission of the Red Phoenix, that would really jump start the practice. If you tell me where you live, I can find someone to help you out with the RP. If you would want that assistance. ralis

Actually I got an A for the course work. ralis

I have never used hateful terms toward you or anyone else on this forum. ralis

Actually, I am not as limited as you erroneously believe. My point is to drop the religious nonsense and directly experience the cosmos, without religious trappings! ralis

Then if you are so knowledgeable, then describe the cosmos in a precise absolute manner. No Buddha terms allowed! ralis

Whose assumptions? Too young in spiritually? Exactly what criteria do you base that nonsense on? ralis

This really makes sense to me and gives me more insight in regards to my Kunlun practice. Thanks! What is N\om? ralis

I learned from two different facilitators. One in Los Angeles in Jan. and we just had a weekend seminar last month here in Santa Fe. I have not met Max and will do so in Sept. BTW, Lenny who originally taught me in Los Angeles will be here in Aug. for a seminar. Not certain yet of the exact dates. ralis

When I first did Kunlun, my practice was contrived. Then I relaxed and just let it happen then everything changed. Thanks for pointing that out. ralis
-
The Kunlun 1 and Red Phoenix are the only 2 right now. I am seeing Max for the refinement class in Sept. and will decide then what to add to my practice. The practice is becoming more spontaneous at random times. Feel free to ask more questions. ralis

I am waiting also for the rational behind Taomeow's thinking. ralis -

Where do you find this over the edge conspiracy stuff? I am not convinced these people don't have any aptitude to do this. Show me some proof! ralis -
I have been doing Kunlun 1 for 6 months. The practice has helped my health where nothing else has. I have suffered from cardiac arrhythmia for decades and this is the only practice that ever helped this problem. I have tried traditional (beta blockers) as well as acupuncture, feldenkrais, chiropractic, rolfing and osteopathy. The problem is the vagus nerve in C2 that is somehow irritated. My instance of this problem has been reduced by at least 80%. I have more energy, somewhat more intuition etc. Since this is a magnetic (water) practice, more women seem attracted to me. At one point, this problem caused serious problems to the point where the cardiologist was considering restarting my heart. I am so glad there was a Kunlun thread here that got me started on this wonderful practice. Also, the only caveat is not to do forced kundalini fire practices with the Kunlun. Max says there is a possibility of chi sickness. Other than that the sky is the limit. ralis
