  1. Is Tao an Ontological Essence of Life?

Beings create their own material reality? That is the most outrageous statement I have ever heard. ralis
  2. Gulf Oil Spill & Continuous Outpour

Here is a detailed analysis of the latest attempt to obtain control. http://www.theoildrum.com/node/6714 ralis
  3. Kuji-In -The Nine Buddhist Hand Seals

rapidshare.com may work. In fact you can break up the file into parts and post. Just looked and 500 MB is the max. Just split it.
  4. Is Tao an Ontological Essence of Life?

Please provide me a reference. This is news to me. ralis
  5. Is Tao an Ontological Essence of Life?

Just telling the truth. That is what you continually do on this forum.
  6. Is Tao an Ontological Essence of Life?

Your last sentence is more of a fishing expedition so you can undercut others beliefs. ralis
  7. Sounds as if you believe in free will. A few weeks ago you opposed it while framing free will as an illusion. Any system that presents itself as a hierarchy, is displaying power. All who approach must defer to it. ralis
  8. One can't extrapolate and project into the cosmos from your example. I have no idea if the cosmos has the best interest of beings in mind. I rather doubt it! ralis
  9. Is Tao an Ontological Essence of Life?

Self realization is good. However, figure out, how in the hell this human mess occurred! ralis
  10. Sorry, I was not very clear. I was referring to secret teaching lineages that are usually Buddhist.
  11. Exactly who or by what criteria determines if one is qualified or not? Are you meaning spiritual preachers? Who is sending? ralis
  12. Is Tao an Ontological Essence of Life?

All views (Buddhist etc.) are only views relative to that particular belief system. Cultural belief systems segregate and limit the adherents thereof, to the approved view. See Vajraji's incessant rants to see what I mean. The so called different stages could be nothing more than an individuals limited perception and therefor is not related to a cosmic or absolute view. The so called seer then preaches the veracity of a given experience. Why do humans accept these postulates? Mass hypnosis? ralis
  13. Is Tao an Ontological Essence of Life?

As I see it, the problem with perception is more about the evolution of language specific to a culture, the environment specific to that culture and the limitations of neurophysiology. Although, new research on neuroplasticity does show the brain is more flexible than previously thought. ralis
  14. Is Tao an Ontological Essence of Life?

I am not certain if one obtains anything since one is already there and not separate from the Tao. ralis
  15. In part that is true. However, the display of power and hierarchy are very real. ralis
  16. From my experience it is about power and control. Power shared is power lost or that is what these so called masters believe. I appreciate your astute observations. ralis
  17. Is Tao an Ontological Essence of Life?

What kind of response is that? ralis
  18. Is Tao an Ontological Essence of Life?

You are not detached when you post thousands of times and seek to correct anyone that mentions Buddhism. You are attached to "right view" which is merely your own opinion. ralis
  19. Is Tao an Ontological Essence of Life?

You have no idea what my experience with Norbu is. Your accusations of me around my understanding of Togal are absurd. You make this judgment with not one factual piece of evidence. ralis
  20. Is Tao an Ontological Essence of Life?

This thread is about the Tao! Not more Buddhist preaching! ralis
  21. I wasn't stating dogma as you often do. ralis
  22. Your incomplete sentences help no one and further muddy the issue. "There is deeper though"? What does that mean?
  23. Again, you see this as a universal necessity. However, your point of view is neither universal or necessary. Further, how can dependent origination empty the experience of luminosity? Further, luminosity is self attached? That argument is without any foundation in reality. ralis
  24. Exactly, who are you putting down? You berate the Taoist system as being lesser than your lofty belief system. Communism is slightly less non dual than Taoism? What does that mean? Further, non dualism as it is defined, could never have levels as your posts imply. One is either in the non dual state or not. ralis
  25. The coming economic crisis

This is an excellent video showing the power of corporations to bully and control, using cops. Fascism is here in the U.S. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=385x482859 ralis
