I agree that individuals are not separate from the universe. However, you argue from a reductionist mechanistic point of view that posits the individual as nothing more than a machine with no free choice. Your statement about Hitler is absurd! Tell that to the victims of the Holocaust! 20M died in Germany alone. Plus other European, American and British casualties. More than 60M lost their lives in that war. I suppose Stalin didn't really kill 20M of his own people, since you would claim Stalin didn't exist. The Japanese certainly didn't massacre anyone in Nanking, which according to your point of view no one was really there. Your views are escapist to the extreme! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II_casualties ralis

Just couldn't resist. The worst vampire movie ever made. Probably the worst movie ever made. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lxw8dNXRL2E ralis

How are you getting the youtube video to show on here? I can post a youtube link, but that is all I get. ralis

Ask Mikaelz. He always points out my flaws. Maybe he can help. ralis

Exclamatory points are for emphasis. I learned that in the first grade. You are the "it's all in the head type". Strictly mental. BTW, your post fits category #8. ralis

I guess you are beyond all of the mentioned categories? Just one category? Are you the new TTB judge (inquisitor)? Funny how you categorize certain behaviors according to your world view and if one fits into your neat myopic world view of aberrant behavior, then you judge the offender as not growing spiritually! ralis

Your post is based on emotions. BTW, which categories do you fit into? ralis

Is TaoBums breeding grounds for cult-like behavior?

Why are the non selves still posting here? Shouldn't they be incommunicado in the non self realm? After all, how can a non self (non entity) communicate to an real entity? ralis

You imply that you are somehow enlightened and above it all. If that statement is true, then why would it bother you? ralis

It is venn diagram not van. You must be living in the dark ages when you refer to "Man". In regards to the link I posted, you would blame the young woman for having an incorrect view and therefor her being forced by stone age religious fanatics into an arranged marriage that caused her death was her fault? ralis

I am curious as to the reaction of the no self advocates as to what happens with religious fanaticism. Especially when it comes to abuse. I guess it is a no self abusing another no self and that is not seen as a problem? This is a disturbing article! Most of this thread is really removed from reality! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/04/08/13-year-old-yemeni-bride_n_530349.html ralis

The bottom line is, it is all phenomena! ralis

I have requested from the various apologists (Buddhist) to discuss from an experiential point of view as opposed to a purely intellectual frame of reference and not from an authoritarian position. Instead of answering the questions, I have been called names and been labeled as having anger issues. ralis

Just to add a quote from Albert Einstein. "As far as the laws of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain; and as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality." ralis

Maybe there are multiple Big Bangs. Now there are theories around parallel universes, Branes and other dimensions. Maybe the project at CERN can reveal some interesting things. I want to incarnate into the Star Trek universe. ralis

I have read all of your previous posts. 1. Are you writing from an editorial perspective? 2. Who is your audience? 3. Does what you write apply universally for everyone? 4. Are you proselytizing? 5. Is the experience of pure consciousness the same for everyone? ralis

And may I add, unique objects. Some of the Buddhists that post here never define who their audience is. Are they writing from an editorial perspective? An editor can use "we" in place of "in my opinion". If not, then it comes across as proselytizing and spreading the Dharma. I would define that as fundamentalism. ralis
