Vajraji posits a reductionist mechanical view of the universe i.e, cause and effect. Yet, in the same argument, V maintains there is no apriori cause of all phenomena. Furthermore, Buddhists love to reduce the cause to mind i.e, observer effect. Are Buddhists after some grand view, whereby, an enlightened Buddhist can see and know all? Also it appears as if Buddhists have a problem with existence being undesirable. What a fun bunch! ralis

You and Vajraji generally use terms differently. Mind could be brain, cognitive processes, collective consciousness or any number of things. In terms of wave particle duality, the debate is ongoing. To generalize and use all phenomena as an argument to prove your point makes for a disjointed argument. Massive bodies in space do not fit in the wave particle duality hypothesis because of the fact, the waves emitted are so small as to be insignificant. For small objects such as photons, the wave particle duality can be observed and quantified (probability equations) under the appropriate conditions. I refer to the de Broglie hypothesis (1929 Nobel Prize). Also the double slit experiment and the photoelectric effect. de Broglie's work extended Einstein's work on the photoelectric effect. To argue this point you are going to have to use probability equations. ralis

Their use of "we" just gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

What would be the utility of making everything (whatever that is) fully conscious? What would be the result of everything you experienced for the last year to instantly flood your waking state? The brain is a selective filter to enable one to survive and not be flooded by useless trivia! Why the insistent use of (we) in all your arguments? Are you a spokesman for everyone? ralis

What is delusion and what is not delusion? If your point of view is not a delusion, then all others are deluded? What subtle analysis does one use to determine if one is deluded or not? The problem I have with your reductionistic reasoning is the use of a hierarchical structure that classifies from superior to inferior perception. Your use of we is in reference to? Are you making sweeping judgments from your point of view? Certainly seems as if you are. You argue in a vague and general manner with untenable views and most terms undefined Ex: mind, wisdom etc. ralis

I have seen the videos of him with the same 2 guys that jump around like insects after he sends energy to them. ralis

It has been said that the true modern shamans are rock musicians. Especially, rock musicians from the 60's and early 70's. Why? Their medicine changed the world and stopped a war. http://www.guitar-tube.com/watch/jimi-hendrix-foxy-lady.html ralis

I think without the music at the forefront, many changes may not of happened. ralis

I contacted Norm Than the author of the "Immortality Book" and he has agreed to come here and answer questions. He posts under "AHumbleImmortal" ralis

I was generalizing a bit and was making a point about the 60's and 70's. It was a modern day renaissance and the world needed to change. It did and still does. ralis

He certainly had the feel for the blues! The song "Crossroads" is about Robert Johnson making a deal with the devil so that he could play the guitar any way he wanted. ralis

Vajraji, We are having show and tell now. Why not post something fun. I did. ralis

You have no right to judge what my capacity is or is not! You frame your projections towards me from a hierarchical authoritarian structure. I am familiar with the Buddhist analysis of the highest capacity to the lowest capacity. That type of analysis is an unreasonable construct to project on people. ralis

I have always felt that Buddhism is not proactive enough in the world. Deference to the dharma kings (Lama's) is expected. Deference is in the form of money offerings and prostrations to the Lama teaching from his throne. Exactly how does that benefit humanity? We are told that is good karma and one will obtain great merit and a better karmic rebirth. Isn't this just more blind faith? How many have actually benefited from this system in the last 2500 yrs? Seems to me this is just a different version of the divine right of kings in feudal Europe. I just don't see how preaching karmic dogma helps anyone. It is nothing more than another mechanistic view of the cosmos. ralis

You are a joke! How could the people that died in the Pacific theater in WWII have a connection with Hitler and Stalin. I put that 60 million in as the approximate total for the entire war. You just respond with pat answers! I guess you think that if one takes teachings from Norbu, then one should follow the party line and not think. I think and question everything. You write with no heart or feeling for the human condition. By putting me down, you show your true self. Heartless! ralis Vajraji and the Buddhists just don't want to get their hands dirty with the realities of existence. Just spotless and pure!

Great post songs! I was a bit emotional in my last post, to say the least. Will you let me know what that higher subtle realm feels like?

Thank you so much for your nice little explanation of my karma! All you offered was an impersonal, cruel, inhuman and sanitized explanation! I assume you believe the Iraqi women and children that were slaughtered by the U.S. military, were concentrating on such an event before they were born? From an illegal war! What about the 60 million people that were slaughtered in WW2, were they thinking in a most subtle way that they wanted to die horrible deaths? If we were to follow in the most subtle way your point of view, the victims in Europe had a subtle karmic connection with Hitler and Stalin and formed a suicide pact to perform this despicable act. Your most subtle wisdom is just too much for me to comprehend! ralis

Vajraji and others present a view that is unrealistic and untenable. I was born with 90% hearing loss in my right ear. I guess I can just think that away and my bad deeds from past lives are purified! Vajraji, why not explain that one in your grand scheme of things! ralis
-
Just how subtle is it enlightened one? With your style of teaching, no one in the universe would ever obtain liberation! Keith Dowman is so far ahead of you in terms of teaching clearly, it makes your explanations moot! His teachings are to the point. Quit pretending that you know something. Now I see why the Lama's don't want unqualified persons to teach. ralis

I guess you really are superior and better than the rest of us.
