I spent five years in the military (1970-1975) and when I was honorably discharged went to The Ohio State University for seven years and graduated in 1983. I also had a child to support from my previous marriage and worked on the side to pay my way through school. That is not an analysis. Ocean levels are rising which is well documented. Sea levels are rising asymmetrically. E.g. Miami Fla. I have no problem with free speech, but several of us have degrees in scientific fields and will express factual research which is defined as free speech.

I fail to see your point! The June 6th 1944 D-Day landings is where thousands died in a few hours during the invasion of Europe in order to put an end to The Third Reich and Hitler's fascism! That is what June 6th is all about! My uncle was in the third wave on Omaha Beach while serving in Patton's army. He along with 70 other soldiers were all that survived out of his battalion of 1000.

Robert Anton Wilson has discussed shamanic medicine in his books in which he explicitly stated that a shaman is chosen at an early age of around eight. Schizophrenia is usually the baseline requirement for any initiate to be chosen for training which last for years. I met one Tibetan shaman years ago and I know for a fact he was authentic. He was able to control the weather, work with demonic spirits, as well as the dead. Ngakpa Yeshe Dorje was his name and my experience with him on a number of retreats will always be remembered. To be frank, he was a bit scary to be around, but being a Scorpio, I am attracted to these realms. I see you are an expert in forest management now. The problem with prescribed burns is that millions of acres are involved which is an impossible task. Further, there are other variables in addition to undergrowth that are just as viable in terms of management and causes of fires.

Predictions are not some Nostradamus prophecy in which believers desperately fit into personal belief systems. Furthermore, confusion ensues whereby one assumes a flat linear predictable outcome which is not the case regarding dynamic systems. Outcomes in the models are of the form x3 (x to the third) if I remember correctly. However, the main point to consider is the function of positive feedback loops in the system which exasperates or amplifies changes. Perhaps Old Student would care to correct my thinking or add to it?
