  1. What the Nazi hate the most

Haven't seen that one and will put it on my reading list. Thanks
  2. What the Nazi hate the most

I found Shirer's 'Rise and Fall' on Youtube in it's entirety. One of the great works of journalism! Shirer was in Berlin to witness this event.
  3. What the Nazi hate the most

Kershaw and Shirer are good starting points. I have Shirer's 'Rise and Fall of The Third Reich' on audio which I will listen to as opposed to reading. Snyder discusses globalization in one of his videos which I will link here, when I have a moment. I am not an academic historian by any means, but I grew up reading a lot of history and tend to think historically. The Brits fault?
  4. What the Nazi hate the most

Read books as to how the Nazi's came to power and why. Ian Kershaw, William L. Shirer, Dr. Timothy Snyder et al, are great sources. Nazi fascism was a reaction to globalization. Why? Can anyone here reasonably discuss that?
  5. What the Nazi hate the most

Could we get back on topic? The Israel/Palestinian issue is rather complex and belongs in another thread.
  6. What the Nazi hate the most

I guess you just want to troll as opposed to discuss. In what way did I answer my own question? Further, I was using your term (groups) as a discussion point.
  7. Which books sit on your nightstand?

This short book is for anyone willing to think historically. Dr. Snyder emphasizes that history does not repeat, but there are lessons from the past. https://www.amazon.com/Tyranny-Twenty-Lessons-Twentieth-Century/dp/0804190119/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1524543926&sr=1-3&keywords=timothy+snyder
  8. What the Nazi hate the most

Why do you insist on social construction of groups? What will that lead to by categorizing humans into groups which may lead to comparison of lesser or greater. Further, there is a problem of globalization in which positive or negative qualities can be attached to a specific group.
  9. What the Nazi hate the most

You quoted from thelerner, not me.
  10. What the Nazi hate the most

The 6th mass extinction is underway per findings of the rapid rate of species becoming extinct.
  11. ancient jews as bedouin ?

No one existed 5000 years ago?
  12. Cannabis Legalization Movement

Today is 4/20 celebration day! https://www.thecannabist.co Sen. Schumer is sponsoring a bill to deschedule cannabis. Also Sen. Sanders and Sen. Booker are sponsoring bills to legalize. The train is moving fast! https://www.thecannabist.co/2018/04/19/chuck-schumer-decriminalize-marijuana/103957/
  13. What the Nazi hate the most

    Provide references to said study.
  14. ancient jews as bedouin ?

He started this thread and it quickly descended into phrenology and other nonsense by one poster here. https://www.thedaobums.com/topic/46567-what-the-nazi-hate-the-most/?tab=comments#comment-816133
  15. ancient jews as bedouin ?

The Adam and Eve myth is just that, a myth. The earth is around 4.5 billion years old and the first human ancestors appeared circa 5-7 million years ago.
  16. What the Nazi hate the most

    Point being?
  17. What the Nazi hate the most

Cut and pasting one paper from a dental college teacher in India who claims a relationship of morphological characteristics to race obtains what point in your mind? Further, geneticists have debunked racial theory on the basis of evolutionary genetic research in which the study of the genetic code leads to one conclusion, there is one species of human, i.e, Homo sapiens. Moreover, there are no racial categories within Homo sapiens, as social constructionists have proposed, in which such beliefs are circa 1850-early to mid 1900's. The cut/paste quote is based on racist phrenology which has no basis in science. Positing a claim that anthropologists are phrenologists is patently absurd! Homo sapien DNA genetic code is based on four nucleotides, ATGC. We all share the same DNA, in various combinations. https://www.ushmm.org/outreach/en/gallery.php?ModuleId=10007679&MediaType=PH
  18. Cannabis Legalization Movement

Sen. Cory Gardner Colorado receives assurances from Trump that states rights will prevail regarding cannabis legalization. Will see how that moves forward. https://www.thecannabist.co/2018/04/13/cory-gardner-marijuana-protections-trump/103576/
  19. Vaping

In any discussion of Cannabis sativa it is apropos to point out the nature of the endocannabinoid system, it's part in the evolution of mammals and the biochemistry of endocannabinoid receptors. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endocannabinoid_system
  20. Cannabis Legalization Movement

The supremacy clause as some may argue is not a simplistic manner. There are a number of SCOTUS rulings in this regard including states rights. The previous post regarding hemp legalization is a step in the right direction. Hemp fiber, oil, protein, concrete, medicine, building materials to name a few, are important for myriad reasons.
  21. The Human Cost of Talking Trump

Being called a liberal is maligning to ones person? Seems to be a disparaging remark to persons that don’t share your ideology.
  22. The Human Cost of Talking Trump

Why not tone it down and stop addressing persons here as if they are children. This site is anything but egalitarian, but has become a refuge for extremists to spout their divisiveness. Your statement from the past that made the claim that if everyone has their say, it will be healing, quite the contrary is what I see.
  23. The Human Cost of Talking Trump

The JB anti-Semitic remarks started this ruckus. However, you seem to not take seriously the rhetoric posited by several individuals here, includes JB.
  24. The Human Cost of Talking Trump

Is Joe B going to slide on this one? Or, will the mods continue to enable?
  25. The Human Cost of Talking Trump

I put the extremists on ignore and it all continued.
