I will make this brief. The Tao is about balance in nature and the patriarchy has thrown nature off balance. 1. As far as I know, the rise of the patriarchy began during the Axial Age with the rise of city states in which one male god reigned supreme i.e, monotheism. That in of itself is a rather large study. 2. The church (papacy) with it's patriarchal male god killed thousands if not millions of women (witch hunts) who were healers, midwives etc. which were accused of consorting with the devil. There is more historical info on that which is an extensive study in and of itself. 3. Holy wars, crusades and the Spanish Inquisition all in the name of an overarching all seeing male god. 4. Leonard Shlain's books delve into this especially 'The Alphabet vs The Goddess'. 5. The incessant harping of Spencer's Social Darwinist propaganda circa early 1900's, by some here has no scientific basis. Spencer's work has been debunked by research scientists and one in note, E.O. Wilson. In sum species work as a complex system and not as survival of the fittest. By extension, the biosphere is a complex system in which a balance must be maintained. More later.

I read the link and only read before I post. I know exactly what it says.

I don't care what is opinions are and his tone and body language state differently. His former law professor stated the following. See quote below. This country does not need persons of his ilk serving in government in that Moore's beliefs inform his judgements as opposed to following the law. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/answer-sheet/wp/2017/09/29/roy-moores-former-law-professor-guts-him/?utm_term=.147cac2f33cb

Authoritarian religious principles as opposed to upholding the U.S. Constitution and also violating the Alabama State Constitution. There are differences.

He is retired from office and for your information, he was legally thrown out of office (Alabama Supreme Court Justice) twice and his dismissal was upheld in court. I guess you inject conjecture in your weak narrative as opposed to reading the latest news on this person. If you have read my previous post, I noted where has publicly stated that homosexuality should be illegal. That is a statement from a bigoted authoritarian who also instructed probate judges to refuse same sex marriage applications. If you understood law and the basis of which is formal logic, therefor you would comprehend as to why Moore is not qualified to hold a Senatorial seat. https://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/01/us/roy-moore-alabama-chief-justice.html https://www.roymoore.org/

I think that is not their agenda. Nothing in support of the women with their allegations, but reiterating 40 yrs ad infinitum by windwalker. I have yet to see you or any other women here speak out against Trump's behavior or Moore's.
-
Here we have more allegations. Interesting in that there are males here that are not siding with the women, but seek to exonerate Moore. Typical patriarchal behavior. https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/two-more-women-describe-unwanted-overtures-by-roy-moore-at-alabama-mall/2017/11/15/2a1da432-ca24-11e7-b0cf-7689a9f2d84e_story.html?utm_term=.96cb2eafbf1b

Apparently, Moore has a reputation for this behavior. https://www.alternet.org/news-amp-politics/report-roy-moore-was-banned-ymca-stalking-teenagers-addition-shopping-mall The New York Times confirmed others remember regularly seeing Moore at the YMCA: On Monday night, Ms. Abney said she recalled Mr. Moore, the embattled Republican Senate candidate, being a regular presence in the mid-1980s at the Y.M.C.A. There, she said, he was often talking to much younger women — women that “appeared to be high school on up,” she said — in an exercise class she was enrolled in. “I’m not saying he was trying to pick them up. It just did not look appropriate.” “I truly believe these women,” Ms. Abney added of the women who have come forward to accuse him of misconduct in recent days. “This type of behavior is highly unacceptable and deplorable in our leaders.” Emphasis added. It seems Roy Moore’s desire to pursue underage teen girls was in overdrive. How many more teenage girl shoes need to drop before the Republican National Committee stops funding Roy Moore’s campaign? Because thus far, they are sticking by their man:

An adult having sexual relations with a 14 yr. old is pedophilia and that is a fact. Some of you here seem to forget that jail bait is jail bait.
-
When he included the 'Spanish Inquisition' in the first part I stopped listening to his narrative. Such comparisons are stretching it by miles and miles.
-
I don't know what your problem is, but Moore was an Alabama Supreme Court Justice that displayed that sculpture in the court house which is a direct violation of the separation of church and state. For one that is always ranting regarding the rule of law, you know nothing, but personal opinion. Moreover, your first statement makes no sense whatsoever. Especially, in the context of Moore's biblical views on LGBT rights. Your penchant for linking Breitbart lends no credibility to your posts.
-
Given Moore's penchant for forcing religious dogma in his Alabama courtroom and his bigoted views, he should not be allowed to hold a Senate seat. He was thrown out of office twice as Alabama's Supreme Court Justice for placing a carved granite rock with the engraved Ten Commandments in the courthouse. Roy Moore's views on LGBT persons. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2017/09/27/roy-moores-values-could-take-alabama-back-to-a-place-many-of-its-residents-have-tried-to-get-past/?utm_term=.b8b3c2a6e4e4

I feel that if one speaks for others then misunderstandings can ensue. That it all I meant by my question.
-
I was posing the questions to her.
-
Are you posing a defense of Moore? And, not accepting the accusers public statements as factual?
-
Frank Schaeffer's observation which in sum is self explanatory. He is the outspoken son of the theologian Francis Shaeffer. Not certain as to the pagan remark in the following, but his remarks are spot on.
-
You have not heard of him until now and yet made absolute judgements regarding the situation.
-
One of Roy Moore's accusers Beverly Young Nelson stated in a news conference today that she was afraid to come out in public, for fear of intimidation. Moore even trolled the local mall for young girls and signed Beverly Young Nelson's yearbook and has recently denied that he knew her.
-
Read again what I stated. Are you a Roy Moore supporter?
-
Roy Moore may have intimidated or even threatened the young women. It can be quite difficult for a woman to come out in a public venue and announce a sexual assault for fear of public shaming and intimidation. It is the public's right to know as to who Roy Moore is.
-
Judge Roy Moore's brother compares the allegations to "the persecution of Christ". Absolutely nuts!!

The hijacking of this thread by bringing up unfounded conspiratorial BS allegations against Hillary is nothing more than a divisive diversion. Alleged, being the operative word here. There are twenty thousand women progressives that have called Emily’s List wanting assistance in running for government office. Women are tired of the Republican misogyny and are doing something about it. One won last night against a misogynist that made negative remarks regarding the women’s march. He said “when are they going to be home to have dinner ready?” Make no mistake in believing that the Mueller investigation is some DNC witch hunt. Three persons have already been indicted as well as Trump’s adviser Carl Icahn has been subpoenaed by the Southern District of NY. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/08/business/carl-icahn-trump-ethanol-subpoena.html

I was asking to clear up exactly what he meant.

Because she is a woman she deserves it in your point of view?
