You were told that which is another belief system without foundation. So, the LDT is some vast receptacle that requires filling? Time based belief systems and practices are a waste of time and energy. This is the very reason I don't take students in spite of being asked to teach any number of times.

What is your point?
-
While everyone is so concerned about John Chang the real power is ubiquitous and available to all. I have experienced it and so can anyone willing to give up their bullshit belief systems.

I do what very well? Further, I was referencing your misunderstanding of the Dao and excusing aberrant behavior as being part of the Dao. You specifically state that any act performed by humans is part and parcel of the natural order. I disagree!
-
That is an excuse for any aberrant behavior you can imagine?

http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2017/07/10/shakespeares-cure-for-xenophobia Well written and thought provoking piece.

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/hawking-paris-climate-withdraw-damages-earth-irreversibly I agree with the bold sentence above, in that the push for rampant individualism as opposed to learning that we must all work together as a coherent system, will lead to the downfall of our species.

I listened to a few minutes until he starts his rant against Muslims and I stopped listening. Character armoring is something I know a lot about and this video demonstrates it.

Humans are Homo sapiens sapiens which includes genetic variation within the species. It seems to me that you are defending racial categories in which that is a futile pursuit, given the complex genetic variation within our species.
-
Race is a classification not based in science, but by cultural differences. Genetic variables are what determines physical differences.

Santa Fe NM. Sedona is around an 8 hour drive from here and is far too New Age for me.

All of you must have enormous amounts of free time. However, I am spending my time outside in the beautiful high desert mountain scenery and fresh air.

I said not all American Indians were war like as a response to your generalization. The Anasazi were agrarian and covered much of the SW; Mesa Verde, Bandelier National Monument, Chaco Canyon and so forth.
-
They were not all war like. The Anasazi in the SW were not.

The present is not separate from the past! Science, mathematics, literature, critical thinking, philosophy and art all have their roots in the past, long before the USA was even in existence. USA has a really checkered past; slavery, discrimination against minorities, abuse of women, civil rights violations and poverty.

It depicted some of the gore, but from what I have been told is that the beaches were strewn with body parts.

Out of 1000 men in my uncle's battalion there were only 80 that survived.

Many were conscripts from countries besides Germany. Using Patton as a deception was a brilliant move! One of my deceased uncles was in Patton's Army. He was in North Africa, Italy, third wave on D Day, Battle of The Bulge and was one of the first troops to cross the Rhine River. Front line all the way and never wounded.

There are many references on Google.

It was the Republican strategist Frank Luntz who put the meme 'climate change' in the public mind. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2003/mar/04/usnews.climatechange

Are you talking about the movie or the actual moon landing? Are you a moon landing denier? Do you understand why I posted this clip?
-
This thread reminds me of this scene in the movie 'Interstellar.'
-
The so called 'Climategate' was a right wing conspiracy in which emails of climate scientists were obtained and the contents were taken out of context. The conspiracy cabal would have the whole world believe that thousands of researchers are involved in a massive coverup/conspiracy.

Paid fossil fuel shills are responsible, along with the Koch bros. and their neoliberal demagoguery.
