Addendum, All persons in this country regardless of immigration status or other wise, have rights under the law. Therefor, due process overrides! The courts can be tied up for decades on these matters.

As most of you know, I live in Santa Fe NM which is a multicultural city. Anglo, Hispanic, Native American, African American and so forth. Everyone here for the most part lives in multicultural neighborhoods, except for the extremely wealthy who live behind walls and gated communities on the East side. Given the above, will Trump send his storm troopers through every house and neighborhood with his xenophobic madness? Search every house which is a violation of our rights? A knock on my door in the middle of the night? Will he use the NDAA to justify this? Colorado, NM, Arizona, California and Nevada are all multicultural.

Nationalism can collapse on itself and further divide which is what I see happening. I see the appointment of Steve Bannon as a major problem in that Trump is moving further to the right.

I see this insane drama in an historical framework, in that the human primate repeats certain behaviors with any number of given stress points and the consequences are similar throughout recorded history. Trump choosing Pence who is on record as being a bigot is ludicrous. What does that message send to an already divided country?

One only need watch the videos of Trump and how he behaved and what he said to understand his character flaws. Make no mistake about it, Trump displays these characteristics; "racist", "xenophobic", "sexist", "bigoted", "misogynic" etc. Don't forget narcissistic personality syndrome and anti-Semitic. Further, to make sweeping generalizations regarding persons that are anti Trump as being low IQ and dumb, is severely disingenuous. I assume you are clumping me in that group also.

I have seen mostly peaceful demonstrations. Very little violence. Violence solves nothing, but leads to more. No need for police state tactics.

I am not separate from subjective/objective and am quite capable of managing both simultaneously, although, both are just limited semantic arguments. I was completely misunderstood regarding my comments. I was stating that virulent contagions must be stopped before the population at large becomes infected. It was Brian that brought in the legalities and not me. Further, If Ebola ever takes hold in this country, the consequences are possibly horrific. If there were a vaccine for a common childhood disease back in the fifties when I was 6 years old, I would not have the disability I have today. In fact, this physical problem has limited me from a number of possibilities. I didn't include that in my PM to you. I have no idea regarding some conspiracy regarding Obama signing some executive order. That was hearsay.

If you want the peer reviewed science, I can ask my neighbor who holds a PhD in Public Health from Johns Hopkins to provide such documents. She is very involved in vaccination programs as well as health initiatives in Central America.

With Ebola, one bleeds out through every orifice. A horrific death! Ebola has not become a public health threat in the US, but in West Africa.

Public health is the overriding concern. E.g. small pox was eradicated by vaccination and prior to a vaccine, killed millions. Anyone seen a child with small pox? The suffering is horrific! Anyone want to contract polio? Small pox? TB? How about Ebola? I disagree with all the anti vaccine mongering in that a public health crisis of serious consequences can be prevented with a vaccine.

One thing to note is the obstructionism against Obama by a Republican held Congress. Mitch McConnell stated many times they would just say no to what Obama wanted. That is a matter of record.

Addendum; The so called checks and balances are diminished given that Republicans hold the power in all three branches, with an agenda to dismantle everything they loath.
