huh? Where did you hear that from? No such project exists as far as I know. You can't learn female practice from a book.

Attention! Letter From David Verdesi Regarding Wang Liping
Ken replied to r.w.smith's topic in General Discussion
huh? you are getting crazier by the day. It's really getting scary Why do you assume i am the one who captured it? Obviously some (ex)-students in the forum are concerned about the verdesi cult and they believe it is prudent to save any incriminating evidences since the moderators in the foundation forum seem to love nothing more than to delete any negative posts about verdesi. (proved correct in this case as the post was obviously deleted sometimes later) -

You cannot reason with a cult follower. Why waste your breath. They create their own reality. -

Attention! Letter From David Verdesi Regarding Wang Liping
Ken replied to r.w.smith's topic in General Discussion
This is a typical trait of a cult follower, they are so zealous that they have become mentally unstable. They see imaginary beings, conspiracies everywhere. Sad but hilarious at the same time. -
huh? Me? No, I don't study with this gentleman. Just let you know, Longmen Pai (Dragon Gate sect) has been the biggest school of Daoism in China for at least a few hundred years. There are literally hundreds of lineages that are called Longmen Pai, most of them have little to do with each other. The teaching of Master Wang Liping's lineage is based on the classic Ling Bao Bi Fa, i only know of one other school, also called longmen pai (but has nothing to do with Master Wang's longmen pai) who also practice Ling Bao Bi Fa. So in summary, you will find that there are many Daoist sects that are called Longmen Pai in China (or overseas) but they all have different transmissions and different practices.

The first picture is that of Wu Yun Qing of Shannxi province, who was rumored to be 160+ years old when he died in 1998. Here is a picture of him when he was still alive. Anyway this is nothing compared to the body of the sixth Chan patriarch Great Ancestor Hui Neng who passed away in 712 a.d. Below is a picture of his body now on display in a monastery.

no idea but i believe this is one of the training method for classical qinggong. p.s. I got this picture from a private source so i don't know whether you can find it on the web. I blocked out the identity because i am not sure the person in picture would want his face plastered all over the internet.

WTF? I believe what i said was that Master Wang had never claimed to be an immortal (not that i know of). I have also never met any immortals, as descibed in Chinese legends, or at least they didn't tell me. So I am not so presumptuous as to say who is or isn't an immortal. well perhaps you know.. The kool aids kids of verdesi's group has such a low bar for defining what an immortal is, they probably think anything that can fart fire as an immortal.

Thanks ThunderSon, well at least we clear up what David Verdesi teaches. Now what does all those demos of Jiang and his teachers (who are from Shaolin Buddhist lineage according to an acquaintance of mine who had met them) have to do with "Da Zhen" (if such person exist)'s teachings? Oh right they are all LSD right ? Also Verdesi was kicked out of China last year according to his letters posted here which meant he was cut off from Jiang and co. And about the same time, he had found his root in "Miao Tong Dao" again and bemoan the uselessness of LSD (both the practice and the drugs probably ) for enlightenment. Am I ebing cynical or is that, oh, all destiny ?? Something to ponder on.

how do i get involved in this again? ha. At the end of the day, it's his words against other people words. People believe what they want. I think everyone deserve the teacher they have, especially Verdesi's students since he fills their desire neatly. I gladly send all those John Chang-wannabes who emailed me to Verdesi's website so perhaps he should pay me a referral fee if any of them sign up to his classes. Mind you I don't have anything against Verdesi personally but I do have to straighten out some blatant misinformations he spreaded out. I have posted these before but here they are for those who are too lazy to look it up. claim 1: Verdesi is an in-door disciple of Master Wang. I think it's quite obvious from his recent letter that he was quite bitter about what he learned (or more likely did not learn) from Master Wang. Nothing more to add... claim 2: Verdesi went to a retreat with Master Wang and John Chang to "die and then come back to life" (as in what was described in Opening the Dragon Gate). This is so hilarious I don't even know what to make of it. I had a chat with Edward Richard, who went on to a retreat with Master Wang, last year and he asked Master Wang personally about this. I believe everyone had a good laugh and the teacher said Verdesi was only a beginner and they only met the year before (interesting Verdesi had claimed before that he had met Master Wang more than 4 years ago ). I will leave to Master Chang's affiliates to clear up whether Master Chang has gone to help Verdesi to die . claim 3 : only by going through Verdesi will you get the "indoor secret" of Longmen Pai. This has been perpetuated by Verdesi and Sean Denty here, well this is categorically false. They were only taught what Master Wang teaches everybody else. In fact Verdesi' group was hardly the first group of foreigners to study with Master Wang, Master Wang taught a special Secret of the Golden Flowers class way to a group of Romanian (some of them Verdesi's ex-students) way before Verdesi brought any of his followers. Now other interesting things about Verdesi is that his cult followers' testimonials. Aren't they fantastic ? But they are all about how awesome Verdesi' teachers are ? But what does it have to do with Verdesi ? From what i know, Verdesi is not teaching Master Wang's stuffs, he is also not teaching Jiang's stuffs (heard from a student of Verdesi, I maybe wrong) so what is he actually teaching ? I think his cult followers were just too wowed by the demonstration and they don't realise that awesome demonstration by Master have nothing to do with Verdesi, I mean there is a confirmation bias there clearly. Next his "level 4" achievement, so he got his level 4 apparently in oct 07 according to his followers. Now in Feb 08, he was in a Master Wang's seminar and people remember him since he and his partner were the only foreigners there and that Verdesi was remembered as a big mouth who claimed to have 30 Masters. So people paid attention to them. In one of the 1.5 hours sitting session with Master Wang's teaching assistant, Verdesi was in half lotus and he had to switch legs twice!! Somehow I doubt John Chang at level 4 will have to switch leg in one of Master Wang's student's qi-field. edit : spellings et al

Actually this is how i respond to whiner like you. I am not a high level master so I don't need to be patient or be respectful to people like you who frankly don't deserve it anyway. Right on HouTian, so who is your Master, I have read your old posts and you seemed to have lied and tried to swindle money here for claiming to getting poeple to attend one of Master Wang's seminar, which proven to be fictitious. I hope your Master if you have one doesn't mind you calling him a swindler. p.s. disclaimer here, I am not Master Wang's student, I am just one of the public who attended a seminar or two, hardly can be considered a student, a participant maybe. -

I meant GDP per capita: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_count...PPP)_per_capita A fairly objective way of guaging the wealth of different nations. Of course there are very rich and very poor Chinese, so is everywhere else, but the standards are different in each country when compared using a common currency. Hence there needs to be an objective way of determining the price for different people from different countries. There is absolutely no way that we are going to charge one single price for everyone since this will be extremely unfair to the Chinese participants. Is that really that difficult to understand? As I said before if you don't want to go then don't, no one cares, why waste your time on something that doesn't concern you. There are tons of free stuffs/practices/tips on the internet for you I am sure they are all extremely high quality in your definition so go and play with those instead, no need to express your grief here. -

Ridiculous post, first of all room and board is included, secondly you seems to think Chinese participants don't have to take time off from work and buy flight/train ticket? let's see some numbers: US GDP = 46800 China GDP = 3300 Ratio=14.2 Foriegn student tuition + flight ticket +visa= ~4800 USD Chinse student tuition + travel expenses = ~4000RMB Ratio=8.2 The ratio is less than the ratio between the GDP. You know if you don't want to pay then don't go, no one cares. But i need to dispel the misconception that it's cheap for a Chinese participant. No it's not, in fact, many of them also complain about the cost but they work hard to make it work. So similar burden is expected from a foreign participant, no one thought it will be cheap. -
No, I have no idea what the effect will be, I don't know how the process works just what the process is. And actually I shouldn't use Spring Forrest as an ecample, I am unfamiliar with Chunyi Lin, I just heard that his practice is good. However I have to admit that I am uneasy on the practice itself, perhaps someone who has read his books can tell me, has Chunyi Lin ever mentioned his lineage? I personally won't practice anything that is "new".

I was speaking in general terms the charateristics of the practices, but there is always expcetion to the rule. One also needs to consider other aspects of the lineage, like the teacher, their philosophy etc..
