A serious discussion regarding the Million D point
MatthewQi replied to sunshine's topic in General Discussion
Harry, Have you been trying it? One really does have to apply a good amount of pressure in the right location for it to work. I agree with Yoda that, at least for me, it is more toward the anus right near the bone. I read Chang's Tao of Sexology book recently and if I recall correctly he doesn't get into the technique or tips. Let me know if you are trying to practice and would like me to share what worked for me and also what is taught in Secrets of Love... The 3 finger method on the million dollar point can be enough for one to cultivate enough jing for alchemy / spiritual practices. It was what I used and I was very happy with it. I actually feel that it is better, yes BETTER (when coupled with big draw - bringing energy up to the head) than not going all the way and just doing the big draw. Regards, Matt -
My opinion is that the aweful feeling afterwords is basically guilt which one conditions themselve in response to cultural attitudes about sex and one then associates with the feeling of jing "loss" prior to having integrated jing, chi, shen. Porn, sex, masterbation is a bitch to overcome. But understand that it is the attachment that must be overcome. Once this is done, you can use it as fuel. Harnessing the sexual energy can lead to a quick or potentially dangerous awakening. "Mind" training is critical but it doesn't mean that you have to give any of these things up, but, the Master must rule the servant otherwise your fucked. Some people will have to do it the hard way and many traditions teach this. One teaches that if you do not ejaculate for 12 years, Source will come to you. I actually know a guy who did this. Personally, I think that was a waste of 12 years and I know personally that it doesn't have to take that long. You have to give it up in your heart and then you can partake and use it to your advantage if you should choose to do so. Then eventually, there may come a time when you can drop the practice becuase you have integrated and realized a deeper aspect of being that is "available" without retention. You can blow away if you want to. A scarcity mindset may be beneficial in the short term but is detrimental in the long term and very ego based. Becuase now you become attached to retention while taking your eye of the "goal". Well, I hope that provides some things to consider. Give yourself first to Tao (not sex, not practice, not porn, etc.) and then everything else falls into place and if that means you watch porn or whatever, it don't mean a ting! then you can enjoy it and not feel bad about it or experience any loss. The loss is in your Mind Matt

"Zen has not only an iron flute to be blown in the reverse direction but aslo a 'harp without strings'; and in reference to the famous koan that challenges the disciple to imagine what sound would be produced if he would clap with one hand, there is even a special Zen term for the inaudible voice of the one had: sekishi. Hsueh-tou Ch'ung-hsien, a Chinese Zen master of the tenth century, once said: 'Of course, an ancient meoldy can move you to tears. Zen music, though, goes beyond what you can hear and grasp. Therefore do not make music unless you have found the Great Tone of Lao-tzu...' - about which Lao-tzu wrote in his terse style 'Great tools take much time to be manufactured.... The Great Tone is the tone that goes beyond all usual imagination.' The Great Tone is the tone of being or, as the Indians put, the tone of the self, of the Atma. The Great Tone is Nada Brahma, the tone from which God made the world, which continues to sound at the bottom of creation, and which sounds through everything." page 171 "The World is Sound, Nada Brahma; Musci and the Landscape of Consiouness" by Joachim-Ernst Berendt

Peter, Yea I like this type of stuff too I was watching some show and I found it fascinating that some scientists have determined that they seem to inevitably find what they are looking for when trying to uncover how the Universe was created! This is something I have thought a lot about. Beyond experience, practice, and spiritual states there is this fluidity or consciousness that functions that way. It is beyond Yuan Shen and beyond the Primordial Bliss. Yet it is this and even ego. Infinite totality. It is the unknowable that just is. Not knowing where it has come from or where it will go. In the mustard seed and in our hearts. It is absolutely amazing to me to consider how we are able to be as divided parts with different timescales and experiences. What an amazing thing this "dream of life". How amazing the mystery! Pinch me, Matt PS. link to a version of Chuang Tzu - http://www.exploretaoism.com/Chuangtzu.htm

"I've often wondered why it sometimes works for me and sometimes not, or why it worked great for Napoleon, Michael Jackson, etc and then they suddenly loose their touch. Or how it is that somebody can easily maintain their magic for life." Yodster! Sounds awesome man. This is available to everyone! My guestimate is that it works better without attachment to the outcome. But who knows. Thanks for the inspiration! Matt

Thanks Trunk! Uh, Michael. Well, I told my wife your story and she had a similar reaction to your wife actually she was asking about your name so she could report you to child services, ), no kidding! Man, the difference between men and women perplex me... Matt

Thanks Michael and Yoda, Michael, I am laughing my ass off!!!!! very close to home. I did get the straight stuff not knowing what to expect. I think I will try getting the mixed kind first, use the straight stuff myself (like I am bothered by that ) I wasn't sure about getting the juice mix becuase I thought I had read that it wasn't as good or something... Any recommended mixed brands? Matt

I bought some noni juice for my 4 year old son who has eczema. The problem is I can't get him to drink it, doesn't like the taste - tried mixing it in his favorite drink - milk. And then apple juice. Ugh! Any ideas welcome Matt

Never been to Kenya yet Ron. Thanks for the insight RedFox. I am going to try a form of Yoga - Vinyasa Flow this Sunday at the Y. I have never been good with stretching in general but am hoping this will help. I also have been doing some Mung Bean hitting from Iron Shirt 2 and have got the video back out and will try to remember how to do those funny tendon changing exercises, anyone think that would be useful? Out a town fishing til the weekend so if you don't here from me it isn't that I am being rude... Matt

Ok, well. I got in a car accident a while back and have been getting massage therapy 2 times a week. Well, sometimes during these massages when I am really relaxed, wood rises naturally (that is what the wood element does right:) ) So one of my friends asked me in front of my wife and his wife if I ever got an erection during massage and I was like well yes. Now everyone we know has heard of this - women talk! oh, yea, another tip, if you are a male and are every asked this question, the correct answer is NO!!!! lol I am just wondering if this happens to anyone else and if it is "normal"? All I can say is that it must be pretty obvious to the massuese. Even when I am soft, there is a huge imprint through the light blanket and sheet that cover me. I am more embarressed for her sake than my own. Well, just wondering... Matt Thanks, Matt

Ron, I was rear ended at a traffic light causing whiplash and then pushed into a car in front of me causing the lower back problems. Fortunately no disc problems, all soft tissue (I guess that is fortunate??). Anyway, I have had PT and Massage Therapist work on trigger points and oh yea man they REALLY REALLY hurt! Never felt more pain in my life. What I need is to be able to learn ways to help myself when and where I need it, ya know? I have never run more than 17 miles becuase I have historically gotten injured when getting up there in milage. Been happening since college (last 19 years) so I have done shorter distance races and triathlons (not iron man though). So much for being half Kenyan, lol! Must be my German side that is holding me back I am glad you are having fun with the running! that is awesome! Matt

Very interesting stuff! Wow! You mean it is actually alright to drink and smoke and run? there is a God! lol Sign me up!!! The only downside I saw was that the life expectancy of a Tarahumara was 45 years old I don't want to live in this body forever, but at least to be around for grandkids would be nice On Chi Running, please please please tell me there is a video!!!!!!! I just really have a hard time with his writing style and imo inability to get to the point (technique). I don't need to be convinced about chi, etc. Ya know? It reminds me of the Total Immersion Swimming book (which is excellent but a brutal read yet a great way to learn effortless swimming!!!) Is there a way you would sum it up in short Michael (that wouldn't take too much of your time)??? Does he recap anywhere or any tips on navigating the book? What the abilities of these runners points to is the power of Mind, Shen or Spirit. Tap into this and everything is possible. Yet, later heaven remains dense in matter. Thanks for the trigger point book link. That is something that is right up my alley with this car accident stuff - been six months and still unable to release the knots and pain from these muscles. I did have some issues before the accident with my neck area so who knows, probably processing life stuff. Intense "communication" with the Source can bring up lots of stuff to process, ugh... But I wouldn't trade it for anything Matt

Michael, I bought the Chi Running book and haven't been able to get through it. Ron, just some friendly advice, 4 hours per day is WAY to much. You should be able to run the marathon in that time or a little slower if that is your circumstance. If you are running 1.5 hours per day that is a LOT! Rest is SO important - balance yin and yang! Perhaps you will have better luck than I have in the past, but I have gotten injured everytime I have trained for marathons. Check out Hal Higdon's marathon plans to get a sense of what it takes. 4 hours per day will drain you and place you at signifigant risk for injury unless you are a professional athlete (are you?) plus the other thing to consider is the effect of alcohol (unless you stopped drinking) becuase it can create some serious problems if you are pushing your body - even at 1 1/2 hours a day. Here is a link to Hal's recommended training programs... http://www.halhigdon.com/#marathon Beginners program: http://www.halhigdon.com/marathon/Mar00novice.htm Hope you find this useful. Oh yea, if you want to borrow my Chi Running book, let me know I will mail it to you... Matt

Do porno movies count? lol, seriously though??? sorry, um... The Razor's Edge with Bill Murray. Very deep spiritual movie...
-
Ron, You are training for a marathon??? When is it and how goes the training? Matt
-
Wow! what a great movie! just saw it tonight and will be digesting it for a while. A lot of good stuff in there... Makes me think how fine the line between good and evil is. It is like a razors edge... In my opinion, the root of good and the root of evil is the same - for whatever that is worth Anaken was not mature enough to become a Master and was not mature enough to discern his egoic nature from his true nature even after being advised by Yoda. This is indeed a very difficult task at any given moment for anyone whether on a spiritual path or not. I guess he does fulfill the prophecy later in the series when he realizes the error of his ways and takes out the emperor (was that return of the jedi?? been too many years for me to recall, my friend reminded me that it was 28 years ago that the first one came out - man I am getting old:) )... Yodster, You can bring the energy down and rejuvenate / fortify your jing chi - bring it to perenium and the sexual palace (or first and second centers) or just bring it down to your balls and feel em fill up with the potentiality. Or even better yet, just let your being respond to it, it knows how if you can get out of the way. Very powerful, I am not sure that it is necessary though for inner alchemy cultivation, unless one is lacking in this aspect. I also personally don't think that it makes sense to focus on sungazing, but as a side practice, when you notice it, have at it and bring it in. Just my two... actually in greatest K&L I believe they get into the relationship with the sun. The beauty of the process is that the Tao WILL come to you when you are ready, you do not actually obtain it. This might happen or might not happen with whatever practice or intention. There is no question in my experience that fusion (I, II, III), practiced correctly, will stabilize emotions and "create" virtous / compassionate energy as well as prepare the body for higher intesity energy. Although I acknowledge many paths to the Source, if you are drawn to this Taoist / HT path, give it a go before branching out or giving up on it. There is a time and place for other studies and experiementation, but in the beggining or starting over it is, in general, wise to go with a comprehensive practice (that leads to enlightenment) than to jump around (of course there are always exceptions to the rule, I was not an exception but one that HT formulas were very helpful too and then after giving it all up, it came to me. But at that time, it was too intense and I desperately needed help, which came in the most miraculous way. Further (it never ends) it is just an unfathomable experience, zen rhen. To be a Real Person is what it is about though, to discover and unlock your potentiality, your true being, to die and be reborn while still alive, to experience the mystery directly for yourself. Anyway, Yodster happy b-day!! I just turned 37 myself on May 15th. Inner Peace! Matt

Hey Ron or anyone else, Just wondering if you ever heard of beer allergies? I noticed that when I drink bud or miller my nose gets all stuff up. When I drink guinness or pale ale it doesn't. It is pretty bothersome and uncomfortable. Matt
-
Well thanks all! I couldn't find any Aventinus or gulden drak but I did find Warsteiner "Quality Beer from Germany;Becuase life is too short to drink cheap beer" (from the label). A very nice beer! thanks RJ! Matt

I really enjoy scotch as well as beer. So I was reading this article that talked about how amazing these chigung masters were that could actually change the taste of scotch. Yea, seriously this was in print! Anyway, very important to SMILE to your drink For me, at times (like now) I get a very sweet taste in my mouth from the Kundalini and the taste of what I drink - scotch, wine, or beer tastes sweet as well. It is one of the truly important reasons to culitvate! Everything taste better and goes down easier Its all Schweet!, Matt PS. maybe I should dig up some of the drunk taoist stories and post em. they are truly bizarre... hmm, where did I read those...

Legend has it that Li Po died one drunken night taken by the poetic beauty of the reflection of the moon on a river, reaching out to touch it he fell in & drowned. http://poetry.about.com/library/weekly/bllipo.htm

Thanks Ron, I will look for these beers at the beers store tomorrow!!! I was laughing my ass off reading your post and throughly enjoyed it! Jessica, I feel like I missed something, what is AVENTINUS? Matt

Craig, Eventually all of these techniques are outgrown. And shed for Reality itself. No question about this! In my experience, which will not be necessarily anyone elses, 3 finger with upward draw was much more natural than holding back that which is natural and more powerful in generating jing for alchemy. I wanted to share that as this part can be a difficult change for people and they can put to much pressure on themselves that is actually counterproductive. Inner Peace, Matt

"...He (Buddha) simply could not express his inner experiences in words. Do you know what "Buddha" means? It is to become one with Bodha, Pure Intelligence, by meditation on That which is of the nature of Pure Intelligence; it is to become Pure Intelligence Itself." Sri RamaKrishna

Sean, That is very interesting about infusing an intention with orgasmic energy... Anyway, I don't know if you know about the three finger technique but a modified upward draw / 3 finger works great! I actually think it is much more powerful than witholding and upward draw alone. Matt
