Is it necessary to achieve full lotus sitting in order to advance in your system for beginners ? Answer 1. For the sitting meditation beginners, we didn’t suggest full lotus. In any case the other people saying something to you or teasing you, please don’t force yourself go to full lotus, you should sit as nature cross leg. By naturally cross leg sitting meditation, you have to get hold of the methods at first. After you practice for some certain periods of time, your leg bones and hipbone will be opened spontaneously, and then you’ll go to the next step to improve half lotus and full lotus. Question 2. What are the first signs of success for an average normal practitioner on this path? Answer 2.The first thing following this practice is health improvement. Your energy level increases steadily. The practice will change your body internals, your organs and internal functions so that your immunity will increase. You'll never get the flu again. This sign is important but is not the most important. The most important thing is when you transform your XIN LING (心灵), when you change your soul, so that you have more wisdom and more faith. XIN LING is very important, the most important because he controls, monitors and adjusts our system in its entirety. A well-functioning XIN LING will bring more handsomeness to the men and more beauty to the women, a very good health on top of which your wisdom will awaken. This is like a complex system that every each and one of us have it. The people get into all kinds of problems because their system is not ruled accordingly. XIN LING controls this system. As a purpose of the practice, we as humans, have to find out where we are from as well as where are we going to after we die. These are 2 of the most important questions for us. Question 3. Here in North America, we heard some people teach Master Wang's "Ling-Bao-Tong Internal Alchemy Arts" , dose Master Wang’s authorized disciples to teach in North America? Answer 3. Master Wang said: Since 1980's, I started to teach Taoists "Ling-Bao-Tong Internal Alchemy Arts", I have taught lots of students all over the world. Some of my students go out and start to teach others in everywhere. Because I'm not a rigorous person, I just let them go. If they persist in teaching others, it doesn't matter to me. But, regarding the authorized disciples and those authorized to teach in North America, there are very less people to be qualified getting my authorization. They have to learn some very special methods to be qualified getting authorization. These special methods is to make sure the authorized teachers handling problems during their teaching. May I borrow what "The Way Is Virtue" said @ here There was a good reason that teachers of taoist and other traditions kept many of their teachings private and chose their students very carefully. If what someone is teaching does not seem suitable then one can search for another teacher that does seem more suitable. Making disrepectful or demanding comments towards others, especially in regards to others one has not met and spent any real time with, is not helpful to anyone else or to one's self in my opinion. Trying to force others to fit into one's preconceptions is also not helpful in my opinion. If something does not seem suitable why not simply move on and look for something else that does? Seems simple enough. Do people really think that 'tao' can be grasped or made to conform to their preconceptions and arbitrary expectations, or that one can ever have a chance of embracing tao through contention, judgement, disrepect, etc.? It seems to me based on taoist teachings that one does not approach tao by trying to force tao to conform to one's expectations, but instead by letting go of preconceptions and personal biases and opinions and instead allowing oneself to naturally explore and coexist in tao in its many varied expressions, but perhaps I am wrong. Maybe the taoist teachers and sages of old had it all wrong. Maybe the true tao is about irreverence, direspect, and demanding that others conform to our own personal limited views, forcing tao to conform to our personal wishes and wants. etc. Perhaps the ego is really the true ruler of tao. Hello Baguakid. Thank you put me onto your resonating list. I really don't deserve this; I'm not equal to the honour. I'm a newbie to this forum, and I'm newbie to the great Tao / Dao (大道). But, my Daoism Master (Taosit Master Wang Liping / Yongshen) holds the long historical Dragon Gate Taoism lineage. Master Wang is a modern Taoist, but not a modern Qigong-ist. Taoism originated from Chinese culture, it has philosophy, wisdom and virtue.

Chun = 春 = Spring, Lin = 林 = forest. Considering the thetaobums.com has some relation to Dao / Tao, if Master Lin could explain much deeply about his system, it would be inspired more Tao bums deep thinking.

I spoke with Master Wang about the discussions here in Taobums. The practice for training the organs was named "MAO-YOU ZHOU-TIAN (卯酉周天)" or "5 element massage". Lao Zi Academy retreat (http://retreat.dao-de.org) taught this practice.

Let me explain again for this picture. This picture of Master Wang is a static picture of a Daoist practicing named "外 (Wai=external)导(Dao=guide)内(Nei=internal)行 （Xing=moving）" . 外 (Wai=external), 导(Dao=guide), 内(Nei=internal), 行（Xing=moving） "外导内行" should integrate the external and internal practicing together, of course the full Lotus helps to generate internal power. In Chinese language, there is a phrase 以怨报德 (meaning "return evil for good"), the behaviour of niko (wind) hatzakis is exactly explain what this 以怨报德 phrase mean.

The Secret of the Golden Flower = "Tai Yi Jin Hua Zong Zhi",《太乙金華宗旨》 **Recent collective experiment of "The Secret of the Golden Flower" from wikipedia In Sept. 2007, one hundred years after Wilhelm meeting his Chinese teacher, the 18th transmitter of the Dragon Gate Taoism Taoist Wang Liping trained eight European based on the techniques of The Secret of the Golden Flower.
