Defense Minister of Canada discloses cooperation with aliens

The U.S. is a great place but it's also a joke. Our prison system is a joke which in turn makes our judicial system a joke although I must commend that Arizona sheriff ( I think it's Arizona lol. ) Our medical system, while great in certain areas is a huge joke in other areas. The fact that a doctor can get paid to promote a product is downright stupid. Policeman, medical practitioners, judges, lawyers, clergyman should all be unbiased professionally. We have resources to make a huge change and start a worldwide change but we don't and unfortunately right now we cant. I would argue otherwise but far too many people are happily asleep, or out to graze in the pasture. If you can "see through the fog", ultimately all of the major religions will lead you to the top. The first step is to realize that all doctrine has in fact been written by a man/woman. Inspiration from the Divine is awesome, but man/woman isn't flawless and neither is all major doctrine, including my very own Holy Bible. - out!

Back to the thread. I cant promote temple style enough. I don't care whether you buy Clyman's stuff or Liao's stuff or train with a certain temple master, just remember that if you stop progressing or stop asking questions then you're going to hit a limit and you need to improve continually. Everyday should be a new challenge. I would however like to add that if someone gets deep into the temple style system that their end goal should be to meet and thank Master Waysun Liao and hopefully to train with him one on one.
-
I believe that all things are possible. I've heard about Liao doing things that are above the quote on quote NORM and I believe them all. I just don't don't buy everything I see. Matter of fact "Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear". For me the video of Chang isn't really convincing anymore. I also don't buy into the whole "scientific observation" either. They weren't under controlled conditions AND they didn't have a stage/street magician there to help point things out and ask the REAL questions. They didn't do chemical testing on his hands after he handled the newspaper. They didn't wand him with a metal detector or atleast xray him before performing his "shocking" demo. People shouldn't assume that because they were "educated" that they weren't easily fooled into the whole "look left while I move right" trick. I'm also not saying that he ISNT real but I'm saying that for me, the kool aid isn't that enticing. Bottom line, I haven't experienced anything all that beneficial with the mo pai practice yeah the video got me interested in qi and the book got my blood pumping but I was still in the beginning stages of awareness. Reverse breathing and standing breath retention? HUNG LUNG HEI GUNG. SIfu Hearfield can blow your mind with the similarities between many of his arts and the "level 1 and 2a" of mo pai. Edit: /street

Tai chi performed under the conditions that it should be is qigong. Temple Style follows a chi flow principal. The form itself will do many beneficial things. After that you need to perform other things to help boost that. IMO, John Chang is a dead end, if in fact he is a legitimate master. Many of the things he did is questionable and his attainment is as well.

There is a difference between people who are in a positive state vs a negative state. Look at diamonds. While they may all look the same, upon closer inspection you find imperfections. If you do not purify yourself and your energy you will never reach maximum potential. Just as a reference, I've never seen nor heard of any of the temple style guys doing what I've seen Liao do on a private demo video. Could this be due to "time in training" or his purity? I'm guessing a little of both with more of the latter.

Seated meditations like deep belly breathing with concentration, if you find yourself dozing off then use some malas or a prayer rope. Tai chi flowing mediation. Bone breathing then total body bone condensing. If you have dedication and want to live on the edge then do tummo. Tummo and tai chi. You'll have what you need to awaken in 2 easy steps.

Does your career inhibit finding the way
h.uriahr replied to Meridian_Man's topic in General Discussion
I was in a spot where I wanted to kill half of the people that worked under me and then all my boss...so I quit. I'm currently in a "career transition" as I like to call it. I'm so happy and stress free -
From my experience, whenever I did something like Hung Lung Hei Gung and finished up with a seated SYG it helped dissolve and mellow me out. It helped.

For someone like myself who works an average of 50-80 hours a week (or worked rather) the teaching style/demands of Sifu Hearfield didn't really sync very well. I would've preferred an entire level 1 training package instead of having to make videos of myself practicing and then converting them and them finally sending BUT! Hearfield was very informative when I had a question. Things happen for a reason and as it stands I sincerely believe now that I'm headed up the mountain on the path that has my name on it.

Hearfield isn't the only one with this system. I will repost this. You can obtain all of the seated, standing and short moving forms for about 150-200usd. 54 meditations. The long moving forms will cost extra. If you simply look hard enough you'll find the other teacher online.

With this being a SYG thread and not Hearfield specific I'd like to make it known that if you know where/how to look you can get the SYG system for about 150bucks. This doesn't include all of the long forms but all sitting standing and short forms. Just sayin.

In typical taobum fashion another thread has been successfully derailed. Bringing this back around. SYG sitting gave me a very unreal since of calm.
