Lukman, Can you touch on your practice? How many levels does your practice have? Can you expand on what goes on at each level? -

The 3ft qi field is interesting. Waysun Liao says that you want your TE to radiate out 3ft. That's when the real fun begins -
He was beaten badly! Overly beaten! Can you not see how it took courage to train and gain that power?! Not knowing for certain if you could destroy thy monster?! Common sense isn't so common
-
Remember that the victors write the history! How would the mo pai side know how he was feeling?! Because of a short story from their side?!
-
My belief on this isn't that he was evil. I don't think he was cultivating for anything negative but rather he believed that seeking redemption was the right thing to do. I see a difference. I see a man who felt that the righteous path was to stop a monster. Don't kill me here. This is pure speculation.

Maybe it is. Maybe theyre in on it together or maybe not. It would be rather odd for someone to actually have a first name of Shifu, if it werent actually their first name. I just wanted to post the pics...in case. -

Typical canned answer on it's way. Sifu Lin doesnt need to prove himself to anyone. If it's your karma then you'll train if not then yada yada yada.... I find it slightly disturbing that someone has the balls to actually go so far as to say that. I am a very honest and open man. I dont lie, I dont cheat and I really do try and stay that way. I'm not saying I'm without fault because God knows that I have alot of passed sins and am still tarnished but damn. In this community, being open is the way to be. -
That's great! Would you care to share any more techniques? I have some started on the first page but it's not very full yet
-
Again, I have no proof of anything. I'm not mixing any yin and yang as far as I can tell my dantien is still nestled in place.
-
Going off of 2 things. 1. Jim's video. He hadnt reached the mixing stage yet but with enough of a yin field he was able to project which also leads me to believe that he probably couldve done a chop stick demo as well. 2. Again, I hate even using the Magus of Java as a reference because there's no proof of any of the events BUT, John says that he was able to use it after he merged yin and yang. It took alot of effort. Oh and then you have people doing things like vibrating straight through a brick and they dont even do neigong like the mo pai style. I dont know for a fact that anything can be done but I would only think so. Wim Hof can heat himself up, in a manner that baffles scientists.
-
All I have to go off of is unfortunately the Magus of Java. In that book Chang says that once he fused his yin and yang it took alot of sweating and grunting to bring out the energy. I guess I was just hoping for a cool video of one of you burning paper or shattering a brick into pieces or maybe a coconut. Something cool! You get tired of looking for that one awesome demo...
-
Not to try and break up this wonderful arguement but my thread topic is solely based on actual techniques. I would love for us to get back on track so we can continue this.
-
It would be a valuable thing if we had a way for people to prove that they've fused yin and yang. I think that it's a reasonable to thing to ask for. In the world of internal alchemy that is no small feat so maybe a posted youtube video. At least for us on the bums. It's not different than someone offering some advice on thermodynamics and maybe their advice sounds very new and strange so then they post their credentials and a short video of why it works.

Signs of dantian cultivation are common in almost every lineage or style of cultivation I've come across. Vibrating is good. Heat is good. Anything except a real valid pain is good. All these signify the arrival of qi OR the awakening of the dantian. These are real sensations though. Not a "oh I think I felt it". -
Eddie Chong has a kidney qigong dvd

Jim has resentment. I understand that. Is the proper way to rid yourself of that to lay judgement upon your teacher. Jim's dedication was awesome. I feel as if it were a selfish dedication. I say this because I agree with the language issue. 13 years and no Mandarin or Bahasi? Unless I'm mistaken. Anyway. I'm done here unless someone directly responds to my post.
