  1. The power of Internal Martial Arts

Plenty of fighters have had great careers without ever studying bjj. Some have been collegiate wrestlers for example.
  2. Silat

Touche. Is Kuntao a good branch of Silat? Matter of fact Vaj, if you dont mind check out this site for me I'd appreciate it. http://www.typhoonma.com/
  3. The power of Internal Martial Arts

It's ok Darin. What 12 step did you use? What artform did you practice?
  4. Silat

MMA has been around for over 1,000 yrs. Pankration As far as the masters go, the ones who cant demonstrate on anyone but their students (kiai master vs karate guy) for example arent really good. I completely understand that students become attuneded to their master but unless the student goes crazy and tries to attack him/her then it's a bit useless. I do think that the internal arts serve a better purpose though, imo it takes a very special individual to win a fight using one though. Also, if you can through around a trident like it's nothing then you can use a broom, mop handle, pool stick, an oar...pretty much anything.
  5. The power of Internal Martial Arts

Exactly. George Dillman is one of them.
  6. Silat

Is there a difference between a karis and a shotgun or high powered rifle? On a whole no, but individually yes. I enjoy hunting and target shooting. I find excitement in it as one who does a karis dance would.
  7. Who moderates Taobums?

People have different views. What I find amusing is how you think certain people troll after you misinterpret one post. I would apologize normally but seem unable to seeing as how there is nothing to apologize for. DC, it's simple. You misinterpreted a simple jab at Orb. Playful jab at that.
  8. Silat

A buddha cant own guns? You took it out of proportion. I was messing (playing) with Orb. I think everyone knows that except you.
  9. What a Tosser!

Gary Clyman vs Bruce Frantzis...who'd win?
  10. Silat

I wanna see your shotgun against my CheyTac .408
  11. The power of Internal Martial Arts

The training environment? I think you over extended yourself a bit. You cant prove that bjjj or mma practitioners are more inclined to starting random fights. I think you made an assumption because of your stance on learning how to defend yourself.
  12. The power of Internal Martial Arts

Where did you get your bjjj fight starting statistics? Most people I know that train in bjjj or any kind of "combat sport" arent really to interested in fighting on the street. On the contrary, they get their stress out in the gym and have an overall feel good attitude. I think your statistics are very incorrect.
  13. The power of Internal Martial Arts

BJJ statistically causes MORE fights because it develops the ego, not CHI. -grin- Where did you find those statistics?
  14. how do i post a youtube video here?

i meant copy the address in the address bar and paste it in the post.
  15. So I met this Republican from Texas the other day...

Bickering back and forth does no good. I apologize
  16. So I met this Republican from Texas the other day...

The child, ultimately is responsible for the actions involved. Seeing as how child labor laws are so different nowadays the parent is legally responsible. You can hide behind whatever pile you want. It doesnt change the fact that you bounce back and forth. As far as responsibility goes, nice try but no luck.
  17. So I met this Republican from Texas the other day...

In an arguement or debate, words mean alot and you flip flop. Being guilty IS being responsible for it as well.
  18. Psychedelics in Light of Yoga

I was partial to 2cb, through the nose
  19. Psychedelics in Light of Yoga

Some are artificial, some are organic
  20. So I met this Republican from Texas the other day...

You say something and then completely white it out like you didnt say it. You said that politicians and bankers ARENT guilty in the post before last but in your recent post you say they ARE responosible...What is that about?
  21. So I met this Republican from Texas the other day...

Sounds like youre taking the safe route by moving to Switzerland
  22. how do i post a youtube video here?

just copy the link in the address bar because it didnt work.
  23. So I met this Republican from Texas the other day...

I realised the error in my statement after I posted. Obama is just the best fit man for the job right now. The job, as you said, is gearing towards the NWO and charisma sells.
  24. So I met this Republican from Texas the other day...

James Monroe and James Madison were arguably Episcopalian. Thomas Jefferson was a Christian Deist, although some say he was a Unitarian later on. John Adams, arguable Unitarian. George Washington arguably Episcopalian or Christian Deist. Abe was a supporter of religion. You may have me on this one. Barry Obama could very well be a muslim and is wearing the disquise of a christian. Either way, someone who attends a racist church for over 20 yrs isnt my idea of a good candidate. If any white candidate wouldve attended an anti black church for over 20 yrs there's NO WAY he wouldve made it. Attending a church for 20 yrs also tells me that his views are similar to ol JW. It's like the cheating game, you're only sorry because you got caught. JW is also a Pro Muslim so exactly how JW is a christian is beyond me...Oh and Obama is more likely to be a muslim as well. People look past all this because they see him as a change. All they see is his black skin. Let's not forget that he's America's first biracial President, not African American President.

The man has an agenda. You cannot vote for someone just on change. You have to look into his politics. What does he want to do with healthcare, war, etc? Just because he's black and says "We need a change" doesnt mean he'll be a good president.
