They use the chess board as a meditation by looking at it in the dark with candle. I guess the Yin Yang could also be used this way is all magic to me really. Any chi work espciallly the stuff I got from Sifu, he was teaching me similar to this? My Burning Palm system uses the elements, evoking, invoking plus more! I found the Rosy cross (rosicrusion very interesting with its magical rites of the cross and the elements related it works with my Primordial chaos one chi palm system as alot of the moves and names relate with these energies and symbolism through words and movements. interesting thanks for sharing... respectfully Garry

Im sure you know the answers, I believe you joined Tao bums to try and debunk any of BFP or GMDW, pretty sad actually! If you been training kung fu or qi kung you know its within Im not going into detail or sharing what I know and have to let you try and break it down. Ive been and demo'd at shaolin temple 3-4 times since 1992, I also drank and sang with the monks in Kareoki! I was making a book and video documentry on my arts that come from shaolin, its a beautiful place and the weapons are cheap. I stayed over night at shaolin guan next door to shaolin! Not many true monks left some dont want anything to do with westerners anyway! The kung fu is mostly wushu which isnt a traditional system its all government run, what forms etc! Spirit Ape

Hi Sifu Terry, In some of the BFP meditations i have there is lotus/half also, chair seated meds but with my Burning Palm System its done in a chair but there is a special reason for it. Ill email you about it privately! Depending on the outcome of the meditations, as Hui Yin is earted in lotus but the Hui Yin has nothing to do with the chair seated meds ill explain by email. Very interesting ways of unlocking certain glands in the brain that Sifu said brings forth the Pyshcic powers. This also depends on what the meditations are for also!! Take care Garry

What type of exercises are in the Chu nei gung, looks like it has stretching from the cover?

Internal arts also train external forces and strength, Bagua like Sifu Dale and myself train Iron Palm, heavy 2 light balls, claw bags, weapon, sparring, kettlebells (chinese stone locks), body weight, bag work, wooden dummys, wooden post etc. Internal arts is not Taiji chuan as you see it in parks today, real internal martial artist train real fighting and strength as well flexibilty as well meditation. Real internal arts also have strength and fitness within them, dont be mistaken that its a soft art of just meditation. Find a REAL internal teacher there is plenty that can fight!

Burning Palm System I have is all Nei Gung, it also has very special types of condiioning like Iron Palm but different uses the elements also. When its ready ill put it up, still working on the dvd and book! Ape
